Asana, a little too complex
What do you like best about the product?
Helps keep the whole team organized on a task. Checklists everyone can contribute to.
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets a little confusing. I don't always know where to find tasks that people send to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I love how organized Asana makes me feel. It's also great that it's so close to Trello. I'd been using Trello to keep me organized for years and so making the transition to Asana was pretty simple.
I also really love the cute little graphics that are provided in the program. It's such a simple thing, but it truly makes me just so happy. Right now, leading up to Halloween there is a "Spooky" theme where an adorable little bat flies around and lands on a line and moves when you move the page. Their other themes are also quite charming, there is a winter one where snow falls and collects at the bottom of the page like snow would actually collect. I know that is such a silly thing to find joy in, but it's the small things that really just brighten my day - particularly when they follow the basic laws of physics. I think it shows that the company is in-tune with not only their client base, but people in general.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I find frustrating is how often Asana seems to go down. You'll be working on a project or setting up for a team meeting and it'll be down. It's not everyday, but it's often enough to cause issue at times and certainly often enough to be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the issue of staying organized on the many various projects I have going on any given day as well knowing where I'm at on all those tasks without having to dig around for an update. It's easy to give my team a quick update after an even quicker glance at where my "cards" are at. I just love the simplicity and that I can share cards with my team so they know what's going as well if I'm out of the office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I feel like it's just intuitive, don't over think it.

What do you like best about the product?
Setting to-do tasks and deadlines for myself and our team. It allows me to keep it all online so I can assess my list of items to do from anywhere even if I am not in the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other people adding items to your tasks without my approval so there will be items that I already have on my list that are added again. I would like to have an approval button or a way to chat back to the assigner to let them know it is already on my calendar of tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating tasks for our team and able to view what other team members are working on. I also assign tasks to other team members when I need them to work on something.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start slow and use it for your most important tasks. It is easy to add everything especially if you are someone who loves to-do lists but this can quickly become overwhelming when you aren't meeting your deadlines.
Little bit of a learning curve but more functionality than Trello
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to add people to a board and then tag them. It helps take things out of your email and onto a PM tool so other team members can reference.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to make certain cards/boards sticky at the top to create instructions in that column.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're organizing our team communication much better with this tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Petty easy to use, it's a little bit of a learning curve compared to a simplistic tool like trello but if you have complex projects you'll want the additional functionality.
Asana is great for teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see tasks and projects that others are working on. It's easy to follow both in and out of the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching is a pain. And the pricing options are too high. It costs as much or more than my email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is more efficient by being able to see tasks in list versus through group emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product. If only the payment options weren't so expensive or were payable for just Admin roles this would be the #1 option available.
Great Tool to Manage Work
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a modern work management tool mainly focused on both small and big projects. Personally, I have never seen a more userfriendly tool. Everything is very easy to master. In addition, the highly customizable and beautiful interface makes working in Asana much more pleasant.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback of Asana is its time management. Asana does not provide native time tracking solution to see how much time is consumed at a specific task. Despite the fact that 3rd part application integration is great I would love to see this feature in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you are working with a small or medium sized team, Asana is the greatest application for team management and task distribution. I personally have been using it for years now and I have not regretted it for a second.

Definitely worth it.

Helpful tool for tracking action items
What do you like best about the product?
In Asana you can assign tasks and action items to multiple people after meetings. If assigned a task, Asana will remind you to complete the task by its due date. Asana ensures that no one forgets to complete a task and keep moving projects forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could assign one task to multiple people. For now, you can only assign to one person, then add followers to that. It would be nice to hold multiple people accountable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are significantly reducing people forgetting to complete action items. Also, we have an audit trail of tasks and sales pipelines through our historical Asana records.
Great For Helping Me Organize and Prioritize
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana Is the ability to organize tasks. I love that you can assign tasks to certain people and give due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more ways to organize projects
