Asana: Top Notch for Team Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a helpful tool always but when working in a group Asana keeps everyone on task and aware of what is being accomplished. I appreciate that tasks can be assigned and checked off for all to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are using Asana for more than one team it can be confusing to switch back and forth between teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It streamlines team work in a way that was much harder to accomplish before.
It's a great tool to organize and share tasks and projects.
What do you like best about the product?
Task organization tools are terrific. It's easy to share/assign tasks and set deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it integrated with my calendar, so I don't have to add meetings to both Asana and Outlook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can turn emails into tasks, save tasks for later, and add attachments. I'm much more organized and less anxious.

Almost everything. It’s really complicated

To complicated, to many categories, to much notifications

What do you like best about the product?
Asana keeps everything in one place. I can communicate with everyone, send files, and manage projects directly through Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I turn on notifations - i get WAY too many. I have to keep my notifications turned off and just check my inbox to see what's changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team all works from home and can communicate nearly everything through Asana.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everyone on your team needs to be using Asana in the same manner (i.e. updating projects, marking things as complete, etc.) for it to work best.

I actually like that it sends me emails every day as a reminder of what I need to do. Also I enjoy the unicorns.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know how to make a personal workspace, but not sure if that's my company or the app

It just helps keep us organized and on time with project management. Our team has a lot of different projects we work on that have important deadlines.

Accountability in real time. No need to chase or ask for status.

Getting used to it at first. Had to ask some people for help.

time efficiency and accountability are the best benefits for small and larger projects

Simple UI, intuitive project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The UI and project management features are very intuitive. Love tasks and sub-tasks, recurring dates, and the ability to send emails to create a task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to have even more sub-tasks, sub-sub-tasks, etc. to make tasks in a bullet-like format. Would like to have more indicators on how urgent a task is (priority level, not just due date).

I use Asana for both personal and "work" work. It's great for tracking personal tasks and working within a team.
Solid workflow tool but you need to take time to learn the best way to use it

Boards, list and calendar - If you have a very specific process you need to automate like the month-end close process for accountants, I recommend a solution like FloQast made for this process.
With this said, for sales, marketing and partnerships Asana can be a solid tool for keeping track of your to do list. I've had trouble adopting but took some time to watch videos and it's getting better for me.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tricky to find projects or stay true to a to-do list. Figuring out how to structure projects or tasks is a learning curve but not rocket science. Watch a youtube video and spend time in app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to build the structure around our partner program. Recurring tasks is a nice way to ensure all of my partners receive quarterly/monthly/weekly correspondence etc..

Doesn't crash very often, decent platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it doesn't crash often, it still does crash.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Upon using this software, it happens to bug occasionally. It gets the job done, though.

Be ready for crashes.

It's shareable to the whole company, and easy to find things via search.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems hard to copy things to another one, and keep the sharing private. I can't quite figure out templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Duplicating projects and deleting the people who are on the old one, and updating the new one

Take the time to learn how to use the functionality via the pop-ups and then you will be able to leverage the whole product a bit more
