Asana is a great task-giving tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to assign tasks to a team and manage completion of tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very user friendly. Can be complicated without time dedicated to learning the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to assign tasks for our church website and social media platforms. It is great to assign tasks to our design team as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool for large companies that need strong communication skills
Asana has been great!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has helped my small business begin to form the proper processes we need to work seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations to the free version. Then, customizing isn't the easiest either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to create boards for each client we serve and stay on track. Tasks can be assigned to specific employees with deadlines, too!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take time to figure out all the functions you'll need to organize your business. See if the free version can accommodate all of those options. If not, take a very close look at the paid options. I found that the paid version didn't quite meet my expectations and downgraded.
Great project management tracker
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to follow, assign tasks and prioritize workflows
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to have paid version to see all the cool features. The free one only gives a handful of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Asana to assign my team different project tasks and due dates for completion. This has helped to organize my day to to day better.

Asana For Taskkeeping
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I was able to create a project template for all incoming IO's which allowed for easy tracking company wide.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like that once a project was archived by the admin then it erased for everybody.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow and project management tracking problems have been solved by ensuring everyone is taking ownership for assigned tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When using Asana, you should take the time out to build a base line template for most of your projects. By having the templates available at startup, when new and recurring projects begin this will reduce the amount of setup time and allow for maximum efficiency.
Asana
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps divide up the workflow in order to split up tasks. This has helped my team greatly in the over all organization and flow of our work process. We will continue to use Asana until we find a better Customer Relation Management System (CRM) that is perhaps more user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is not always user friendly for newer employees. For example, implementing new tech-based task management system was a bit frustrating for newer employees who were not accustom to using a platform to organize workflow and dive up tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow tasks are solved with Asana, they help our team divide up task in a fair and equitable qay.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend Asana to those who do not have a current CRM system in order to divide up workflow.
I enjoy Asana, it has great tools but can replaced by many other options
What do you like best about the product?
I like that everyone on a team can check in, work, update and comment on task or upcoming projects
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, or in the first few uses, it can seem like a lot. Could be simpler
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
its great to have your to do list all in one place and be able to add reminders, comments etc.
An effective tool for project and task management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is user friendly and has a variety of advanced features, which makes it a good choice for project and task management.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any project management / task management software, it's all too easy to create a clutter of tasks and projects. That said, that's actually a user-related issue rather than a defect of the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been a good place to keep track of all my online courses and course progress. It works well to organize and store information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a feature-rich task and project management software, Asana is a good choice. It's easy to use and even the free version can effectively meet the needs of a professional user.
Asana for my
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a must have for any Marketing team! We have so many little tasks due daily, that is really hard to keep track mentally. With Asana, you're not only able to keep track of these tasks, but you can create projects with your team, and add subtasks for each person. You can even make one task dependent of another. For example: for a lot of the social promotion I do, I need graphics from our Designer. So, I can make the "social promo" task dependent on the Designer's "make graphics" task. Which means, I can't do it, until she is finished. Asana also has a calendar view, which is great to see your projects in a "big picture" and see what's going on that week or that month. You can also keep track of what everyone else is doing. As a boss, you can check if your employee has too much on their plates, or not enough, and you can make sure they're on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tasks view can get a little confusing. It's hard to navigate through at times, at least until you're 100% accustomed. Tasks that are supposed to be weekly, sometimes don't appear. It'd be good if you could automatically duplicate them without all the internal comments. For example, we have a podcast every week, but the info we add inside the task changes. I'd be good if the task got duplicated, but with blank slates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were not aware of a lot of the things going on within the team. Everyone was working on their own thing, not realizing a lot of it it's intertwined. Once we figured out we had this problem, we got Asana to keep track of all the projects we have going on at the moment, and the part that each of us play in them. How our own work affects the other, and learning to stay on track with tasks and deadlines.
Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I think Asana has a very user-friendly interface and is much easier to use than some of it's competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel as if Asana works well for single projects, however sometimes we have clients with multiple projects or ongoing services and I feel as if Asana could improve with managing those types of instances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps the team organized, task oriented, and helps us meet deadlines.
