The best tool we use at our company to organize our projects and tasks

What do you like best about the product?
It's very helpful to organize projects within the team.

I really like that you can assign a task to someone, set a due date and time (which is very helpful for me because I often need to do some tasks at an specific time of the day).

The search tool works very well, because it allows me to see whether the task I'm looking for, is completed or not, without having to go to the task.

I think the emails I get when I'm a follower of a task or project, regarding any changes or once a task is completed, are very helpful to keep tracking the projects even if I haven't check Asana yet. (e.g. if I'm on vacation and just check the email from time to time during my days-of, etc.)

I love the integrations with Gmail and Slack.. It is super helpful (at least for me) because I can create tasks from comments or emails I receive, as well as add those comments directly to the task of my preference. I use it a lot!
What do you dislike about the product?
It uses to log out automatically very often and also almost every day asks me to refresh the page due to a new version. It would be better if it automatically updates itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tasks management and follow up on the projects of the company or teams
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a very easy to use tool. I really like it

What do you like best about the product?
I love the color-coding. As simple as that is, it makes a big difference when there's a lot of aspects of tasks! I also really like the templates for tasks and projects, big time saver!
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little pricey for what you get. When we're handling many big projects it pays for itself time-wise though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been helping us solve the problem of organizing tasks withing projects between team members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is absolutely great when you are apart of a team or a team leader who is working on multiple projects at the same time with many different people. It is great for teams because everyone will be on the same page about who is doing what because you can see who is assigned to what task, and how far along they are on that task. Bottom line, Asana solves miscommunications and saves time

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to email a task to a list. I like having the ability to see a team and transfer tasks. Notifications are abundant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike all of the notifications, but it’s a necessity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow can be hard to manage but with Asana it’s as easy as a button. Sending the entire email is convenient and effective for task creation. I can send and assign tasks to my team and get notifications throughout the process. Managing workflow is mich easier now.

I introduce this tool to every workplace I join

  • October 04, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The detail and accountability! Clean UI but the granular tracking is amazing, assign subtasks and due dates while maintaining a easy to follow to-do list. Not you average checklist.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could use more templates, creating custom templates can become daunting. Can be confusing tagging tasks to other projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being in marketing and juggling so many projects, it really helps me keep a clear view of all of my projects, tasks, and sub tasks. Being able to apply due dates to subtasks is amazing. Also cuts back on email use with tagging other members in projects, tasks, and comments. Keeps everyone accountable and updated on project progress. I was introduced to Asana during a college internship and I’ve carried it with me to every workplace I’ve been, they’ve all thanked me for introducing them to it.

Unfortunately, my current workplace uses Microsoft Planner but I miss Asana so much!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Create a protocol when using with others, make sure they’re all on board. You won’t regret it!
