Asana makes collaboration possible
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has an incredibly friendly UX/UI. It's very intuitive and they take feedback seriously. Suggest a product improvement and you'll probably see it available within a year!
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issue was the lack of ability to switch between the timeline view and the board view. However, they're making this possible! So no complaints here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes it easy to collaborate with your peers, within your department and cross-functionally. You can track workloads for individuals so you know how best to distribute work so deadlines are met.

Asana has really easy to use navigation, and helps us with extremely detailed organization with the options of sub classifications

The inbox feature seems so cluttered, and I wish there was an easier way to look at notificaitons by classiffictions

We are solving a lot of organization issues and have an ease of communication between employees because of the comments in DocuSign. We now have the ability to look back and keep extreme detailed track of everything happening with our orders from beginning to end

Just get it, try it for a week, you'll love it

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to communicate what tasks you are working on and what you need done with a time frame assigned to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many features available that are hard to discover, a more comprehensive guide at the beginning would be helpful.

Keeping everyone updated on what tasks everyone is doing in real time.

Asana is best application to manage my projects.manage project with asana is so much easy.Easily track my and my team work status on asana. Divide work with other team member easily with asana.Project manage with task and get status of projects on time with asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some paid features are so much expensive so some small companies not prefer to purchase that features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage my projects easily.scheduling my project work.assign task to team member.Project status tracking.Set priority of my task and change on them when necessary.
Good collaborative project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, intuitive interface. Good control over task visibility to ensure only the right people have access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Continual feature churn can cause some frustration as users need to continually adapt to learn new functionality or changes in existing functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing my own tasks and those of my direct reports has been much easier using Asana.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make the most of the free version before considering signing up for a paid subscription.

The ability for multiple people to update status on projects while still protecting efficacy of project updates

It is not the most user friendly interface

Working together on multiple projects across multiple teams across multiple offices
Great tool for project management - if you can get teammates to use it.
What do you like best about the product?
Helpful to see all the tasks in one place, and satisfying to mark them completed (the flying unicorn celebrations are a nice touch).
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to have the option to assign multiple owners to certain tasks - sometimes there really are two owners who are sharing responsibility, and the tool doesn't support this right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There's a lot of functionality that we haven't yet tapped, but excited to participate in their training webinar to learn best practices and tips and tricks.

Need to get teammates to use it (or else communication tends to get duplicated in Slack / email as well as Asana)

What do you like best about the product?
I believe Asana is the most effective tool out there for ease of communication on projects. It’s interface makes sense and they’ve thought of everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints at this time, but we’re new to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that Asana’s user-friendly layout encourages the team to actually use it, and is especially helpful when we’re working on a creative project, since including media and attachments etc is easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
So many other platforms for a collaborative work force are tired and boring to use. Asana has made our project easier by being a welcoming platform that’s easy to use. Especially if you’re working on a creative project.
Easy Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I found it was easy to use and could share projects with outside vendors. It was especially helpful to upload screen shots and documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did find it was a little confusing on adding contacts to tasks or who was the primary owner.

Helped to project manage a large program with an outside vendor and manage change requests.
