Asana makes your workflow easier and more efficient
What do you like best about the product?
It helps you track who is doing what, and mark something complete. You can even create assembly line-like tasks that are chronologically dependent. Once someone marks their part of a task complete, you know that you can do your part of the task.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to navigate at times and I wish the page where you can see everything at once was organized more like a flow chart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easier to communicate, track, and assign tasks that need to be done. It also keeps record of daily productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! Go to a workshop! It really makes things easier and more organized.
Saves Time & Increases Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
The project management tool and built-in templates have saved my company time and money by allowing us to collaborate and communicate in one central space.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a few weeks of work to get everything set up in the way we currently use it. Even though the default/built-in templates are great, a lot of time went into making them custom for our organization and digestible for my employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now save a lot of time with project collaboration. It's now easier to manage my remote team because I can quickly see exactly what's being worked on and completed. I also love that it connects to the Harvest Time App, so the employees can track tasks & hours from one place, reducing rework.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend time learning all of the tools within the software before you start setting it up for your organization.
Great team organization software with some weird navigation issues
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is updates instantly if someone comments you will see it as soon as it's posted without a reload! It's pretty neat 😁
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface itself gets confusing or you question why something doesn't do what you expect to happen when clicked. (Perfect example is a sub task click edits the title instead of opening the issue...)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing agency projects, Asana helps keep the whole team together and on task. It's a central source for information!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great software and besides some funky navigation the software is great and does exactly what is needed without any fuss.
Great for keeping track on a company wide scale
What do you like best about the product?
I like the addition of tasks and subtasks within Asana to help you keep track of all the moving tasks that need to happen to get a project done. The ability to just write out what you need someone to do, assign it to them and keep comments tied to a particular thread pertaining only to that issue is wonderful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do dislike that unless you're reporting a bug you cannot add a priority system. I would like to sort my tasks based on priority in order to accomplish as much as possible and be efficient in my delivery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve all sorts of problems with Asana. You can find bug reports for our website, IT set up and configuration, HR's new hires, etc. It is our one-stop, track all tasks program.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would start with a free trial when you can test the daylights out of the software. Then I would evaluate if you already have anything in place that it would replace or how big your scope for integrating Asana into your company. There are private tasks within Asana, but if you aren't careful they can be "public" to all of your internal members. So if Jim down the hall isn't supposed to see your tasks that contain backend routing and coding, you should definitely double-check with your team to see who needs Asana.
Asana for my management in daily routine task
What do you like best about the product?
Firstly the best feature in it is that I can see everything through it because of its dashboard facility that gives me a full overview of my on-going projects that moves me through multiple stages in a quite unique way. For me, it’s a blessing because before this software I was not able to meet deadlines as I can meet them readily even before the required time. It has been the effective product I have ever used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing projects on daily basis was impossible for me before the arrival of this application so, I can’t think of any major drawback in it. Although, there were certain issues at the first when I started using it but it was only due to my first experience so I had to learn some basic things but now everything is super smooth and easily manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is one of the best software for making my project work easier and also burden less due its amazing features. Also, meeting deadlines is quite easier by using this specific product and also it helps me in making certain plans according to my needs and demands. Moreover, this amazing software helps me to make my work more organized and also burden less. I have the ability to pinpoint certain risks and also to take certain decisions accordingly only by this product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I really like the way in which it integrates with all other useful applications of my concern so that I can simultaneously work on all of them as well. Moreover, the price of the product is quite useful and as well affordable for everybody whether they have smaller or larger company. All the features are well suited to each one of them.
Difficult
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone in the organisation has visibility on each other’s projects which helps the work flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not straightforward at all. In my honest opinion there are other easier and cheaper solutions that improve the day to day work flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency is always an issue inside organisations and Asana helps with that as well as with project management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Every new user should get a tutorial to understand how to implement it on their day to day.
A great tool for power users & teams
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is undoubtedly the SPEED. Everything works real-time & always in sync between all teams and users. The actions and update get saved really quickly and its just a great experience overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool itself is a bit complicated for someone starting out. The tutorial and step-by-step guides are also not very helpful as they talk about lots of stuff in one go. I would recommend a simpler approach towards getting users enrolled into how powerful Asana is and what it can do from a dashboard/home page.. and gradually user can enter into various parts of the tool and learn about it only then.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are primarily using Asana to track bugs & feature requests in form of various projects and lists. The sub-task option in the lists are quite helpful too. And the powerful search does not let anything get lost easily.
Asana is Life
What do you like best about the product?
Easy intuitive UI allows for making project management fun and easy for users. If you're moving from something less pretty like Workzone but are looking for the versatility for your company, Asana fills that role.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike -- maybe it's the fact that it's so open that if you don't know what you're doing, you may not be able to leverage the software as well as you'd like. Overall, it's solid and I don't have many cons about Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company, we use this to manage our marketing efforts, sales support efforts, and deadlines. The GANTT charts are also very helpful in making sure we can visually see where dips in the pipeline may need to be addressed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana has a free trial that allows you to test out the platform prior to implementation into your teams. Because of the scalability of the software, our organization has been able to implement it in multiple areas of the company in order to have higher level execs see what is going on in multiple teams at a glance. This makes it easier for all of our teams to work together.
Great tool for project task tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Tasklist, Reporting feature, project collaboration and tracking of task easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Asana, there is no chat option to chat with the team member. As soon as a task is created we can chat the person to whom the task is assigned. A nice to have feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task reporting, assignment of task, task tracking.
Asana is great for project management
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to use and functions are actually functional
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, since it is cloud based it does have a lag but that could be based on the connection as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
having all elements of the project accessible. I benefit from it as instead of sending emails, which can often confuse and clutter your inbox, each project is organized

Keep up the good work!
