Such an easy to use platform that makes work so much more efficient
What do you like best about the product?
The project boards and having everything in the one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to bulk download images/files , have to do everything separately unless they put in a zip file, other than that, asana does everything it really needs to - a great platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
cross-team work for big national campaign projects, we can also use campaign calendar so we can see all upcoming projects a well which is beneficial to all teams involved. Using the paid version has also meant a lot more feature use like start dates and times, milestones and portfolios.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have multiple teams definitely make the move to asana to keep track of tasks and projects , as well as your personal tasks.
Good but not great
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn and navigate; love the subtasks option and calendar view! Love the integrations with slack, Dropbox, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Disappointing that a project management tool doesn't come with task dependencies that actually flow together without requiring the purchase of third-party add ons (flosana)... Also disappointing that you can't set monthly recurring tasks to avoid weekends. Overall it has some great functionality but is lacking some pretty basic project management features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's enabled our team to collaborate much more effectively from our various physical locations and has reduced the energy we need to expend to prevent tasks from falling through the cracks.

Asana is very easy to use. No training needed for our users. We like the project template and use it a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had a desktop app or if it could integrate with Outlook.

We use it as a reminder but also a way to keep track of tasks and project.

I like the collaboration features and the ability to create a check list and check of tasks

It takes too much time and effort to set up, integration to other apps is hard seems like an extra tool to manage

The price for unique features is a bit high. The price increases a lot when more seats are added

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easier to manage projects than through conventional means of conferences or joint meetings. This, above all, in large work groups. We solved the problem of team communication, in which there were confusing situations between coworkers. Deadlines are best scheduled. Remote work is more bearable. We are still testing this product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With Asana, due dates become easier to arrive with work already done. The administration of the work of each of the project members becomes clearer, and there are no problems with the completion of the project. Your coworkers can assign you tasks while you look for your time to do them.

Asana is any easy-to-use software that allows my team and I to stay up-to-date with tasks, without the headache of email.

Our older employees have a difficult time learning how to use the software.

We're solving the problem of being able to stay organized and meeting deadlines on time, as the software has due dates and you can assign the tasks to employees.

Asana is great for small or large teams with a variety of projects and tasks. It’s very user friendly and allows everyone to be aware of what’s being completed. It’s very useful for team members who are remote or in another location as well.

Asana has a lot of elements so initially it is a lot to learn.

Asana has allowed our team members to be aware of each others’ bandwidths and made it easier for managers to assign work.

Like that there are multiple views for a project(list vs cards). Also like features like portfolios and timelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features aren’t as easy to use or robust as I would hope for. For example, there is no easy way to add a project to your portfolio right from your task list.

Able to manage multiple team members across multiple departments and everyone is able to monitor project progress.

The ability to engage teams from all areas of the company on a single project and as a manager the portfolios and workload tracking are very useful

Great tool for managing large projects with cross team collaboration
Initial ticketing system for our technology group
What do you like best about the product?
We used this ticketing system as an interim solution for our Help Desk Support. However, it was hard to integrate it with SharePoint. We end up going with another product. Overall, it is a good product.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was cloud-based and the data was kept off-site. We did not want to risk our data to be compromised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have any issues. It was perfect for tracking help desk tickets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is great if you don't have a ticketing system. I will definitely use it.
