Perfectly managed my tasks with this app!
What do you like best about the product?
All I can say are great things for this application. It serves well for it's purpose of being the perfect platform in doing daily tasks. It allows its user to prioritize what's important by setting a due date and by allowing to rearrange tasks on feed by the user's choice. It also lets the user assign a task very easily. It accurately finds all relevant task with a simple input of a keyword on the search bar which allows for an easy backtrack.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see anything I do not like on this application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems on forgetting important tasks is completely solved. All that you need to remember, you can simply create a task for it and set your deadline and add people who are involved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please have a reminder notification for tasks nearing their due dates.
Team working tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like about Asana is that with basic knowledge you can use it. It has very attractive interface. The timeline of Asana gives you the opportunity to monitor the other members of team and the progress of the task or the project. Managing tasks, assigning them to team members, scheduling them and etc, is very easy and comfortable with Asana. Mobile application serves you to be in touch with your and your team members current tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I do not like about Asana is emails. I receive email every time, someone does some little manipulations with the tasks that i am involved in, and I also get emails from the manipulations i do. That is boring and I think it should be balanced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me and my team with tasks management, with a lot of tasks we have life is easier with Asana. I cans assign new tasks, monitor old ones and be in touch with currents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend it to teams, which have to work on many tasks at same time, Asana will help tthem to organize tasks and monitor them.
Gamechanger
What do you like best about the product?
My entire team now uses Asana several times a day. We have a much better grasp on which tasks are urgent and we collect all information about a task the same place.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't have clear conventions, it will easily get confusing. A thorough cleaning of old projects is very important.

Do it, but make clear conventions for usage.
Awesome product for tasks management - Customise it based on your needs
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of things. We do literally everything through Asana, from HR to product design and development.
It's what we use the most, all tools combined.

Templates are hard to use properly. They're fine if the templates don't evolve, but not easy to get by when templates are updated and "duplicates" aren't. Could use a way to sync those based on different strategies.
Also, copy/pasting tasks doesn't copy the description or sub tasks, which doesn't help to manually update projects created from templates.
Also, there are really dumb things that Asana is missing out, like allowing Markdown for tasks description or comments. That would be very useful and could also allow us to use Asana as a "rich-text" content platform, where we could write tutorials, guide and such.

We handle our HR integration, product design, product development, marketing, strategy, lots of things really.
We were using Trello before, but Asana is on a complete different level of quality of communication and interactions.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, one of Asana's best quality is its flexibility: You adapt it to your needs, not the other way around.
Asana Review
What do you like best about the product?
Something that sets apart Asana from the competition is the ability to repeat tasks. In my professional and personal life, the ability to create a task and have it repeat has been a very useful tool. I also like that I can create teams. I am an admin in my work and I can create just an admin team. We have operations, managers, and sales as well. It allows us to create different projects based on what we do in the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want more add-ons. My work goes between Trello and Asana because Trello has a style that fits our needs as a company but Asana is better for tasks and communication. We are working on making the switch but it must meet the needs of everything Trello does, which it does, but I need add-ons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At my work we track jobs. Delivery scheduled, jobs in progress, called off jobs, and complete jobs. Every department in the company is needed to make a job go throughout its process. Sales are first, then operations, and then admin, and back around. The benefits of Asana is that we can assign tasks to people to make sure the task is getting done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Watch the training videos. Due to Asana being more advanced than most other applications, Trello included, it can almost be overwhelming and confusing. If you watch the videos it allows you to better understand everything and know what is the right style you need for what you are trying to accomplish.
Great for agile teams
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to communicate with teams using just Asana, no e-mail involved. Delegate tasks and mark dependencies. Squats are working well on sprints and each PO have your backlog well organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use templates a lot and forms are not imported.
Portfolios still need improvements, we have a lot of needs concerned to view how different projects and squads are integrated and need more detail in status report.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have now a same process development to follow. All squads must use Asana in the same way in order to show the reports the right way.
Asana Raises the Bar for Optimized Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspects of Asana for me are the user interface (colorful, easy to use, intuitive) and the customer support (very responsive and friendly/willing to help). I also value the community aspect of Asana Together. I like how Asana encourages users to become Ambassadors or Certified Pros, and Asana entrusts them to be creative and lead their own events in their communities/with their teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Asana is that I wish there was an Event Planning template on the Basic version of Asana, so I could test it out with my team before deciding to upgrade to Premium (I understand that I can do the 30 day free trial).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana I am solving the problem of assigned workflows and breaking up tasks between my team and me. I've realized that Asana helps me stay on track. I used to use calendar reminders for all my 'to-do' items, but I've been trying to move all my reminders over to Asana, so everything is in one place and so there is transparency w/ my team, to communicate to them which tasks I'm working on, and the ability of my available bandwidth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You won't regret trying out the Basic version, and then decide if you'd need Premium/Business/etc. It'll bring insight into ways you can improve your workflow.
Asana streamlines internal communications like no other product.
What do you like best about the product?
My workplace utilizes Asana to minimize the number of communication channels my team utilizes. It has made project management so much easier, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Asana has been the learning curve associated with adoption. Not every team member is on the same level, regarding product knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The number of emails and meetings have been reduced drastically since my workplace started using Asana. We are working more efficiently because of this product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just give it a try and you'll see how much your organization can benefit from adopting Asana.
The Best Thing
What do you like best about the product?
Having everything in once place. I love that I can now set up projects with dates and use it as a template. We have no-weekly product launches and this was a tremendous help! We also upgraded recently so now we have teams so now everyone only sees the projects they need to see instead of everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to change from list to board. We use boards for each department and some prefer lists so I have to create multiple projects and multi-home things to be able to see it in both versions and that a huge pain. Being able to switch between list, board and calendar would be a great feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My department was in chaos when I started and after researching multiple platforms, Asana was the best one. It has helped us become so much more organized than ever before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get the premium version and watch the trainings. They are so helpful.
The Perfect Tool for Making Organization & Communication Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very intuitive! As a project coordinator, I pretty much live on the program, but I find that other employees in our company have had much success in areas like productivity and communication because the system is easy to navigate. Implementing a new communication tool across the company seems like a very daunting task, but our company has taken a liking to Asana, which is a huge attest to the system's usability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our Project Management Office uses Asana every day. There are about 5-10 employees who would greatly benefit from Asana Business, however, all other employees do not need it. It would ideal if there was a payment option for a portion of our users to upgrade to the higher version with Portfolios and Workload. We cannot justify upgrading our entire plan, as such a small number of employees would fully utilize the higher end features.
If subtasks could be shown in the main project screen (instead of clicking into tasks to see them) that would be AMAZING! I find I often lose sight of subtasks because I can't have the overarching view of the project in its entirety. A subtask collabsable option would be super beneficial!

Communication - we're still working on completely shifting in this area, but we now have the ability to say "just look in the Asana task, all the info you need can be found there" instead of sending 10+ emails back and forth
Productivity - Instead of handwriting my to-do list each morning, I know what I need to do and by when. Asana ensures that tasks will be followed up and nothing gets lost in the cracks of miscommunication, making more time for us to the do the work instead of communicating about the work
Organization - We are way better organized! All associated info items, documents, and tasks can be found in one place. It's nice to only have to look in one place instead of 3-4.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
This system takes away the rigor of managing tasks and to-dos. The system is very intuitive, allowing people with no project management experience to excel at efficiency. We have an ongoing saying around our office, #AsanaSavesLives
