Great Collaboration and PM Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely user friendly and clean UI. As a first-time user, Asana is very natural to navigate and create/track projects amongst multiple team members. It's been great for project planning, project tracking, and creating accountability around the team.
Set up is very easy and ramp up period was minimal with 0 pain.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many complaints about Asana. As I only use the basic version, It would be great if there was a live-chat component to collaborate with more team members. Currently, we chat outside of the app via g-chat or slack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving strong collaboration and multi-project tracking issue in our organization. Asana has brought shared accountability, ease of use, and clear direction of project flow to our internal team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana has been a great service and tool for our team. As a first time user, I found the UX very intuitive and easy to ramp across multiple team members. I love the ability to assign different tasks to different users and swiftly navigate through multiple projects at ease.
CONS: As I’ve used this tool for less than 1 year, t I still find difficult to keep track of subtasks and we don’t know how to move “lifestages” without moving the whole project to the next phase.
It would be great if there was an internal communication system to collaborate in project/app.
Beyond that, I'm not overly familiar beyond the paid functionality, but would recommend for projects both large and small.

Get your whole team on it! It's the best thing you can do to improve visibility and bump up results!
I organize each and every one of my tasks in one place
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very complete and interactive tool with which I can manage all kinds of tasks and activities, it has a very easy to use interface and in which I can create cards in which I can add items such as reminders, files, list and many other things, also something that I like a lot of Asana is that it has many accessories which I can expand its features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is a tool a bit expensive since the monthly plans are measured by the number of people that make up the team, although it has a free version that is very limited in terms of features and functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my work I use Asana to be able to keep up with my activities, since I can configure my calendar to notify me when something is about to expire, I also use Asana from my cell phone through its application, which helps me a lot to access quickly from anywhere.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great system.
Good tool for managing workflows
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features of Asana is the ability to save project notes in the cloud and not have to worry about storage space, it is very useful to be able to save various types of files such as text, images, PDFs, Etc. To give more shape to workflows and make them more understandable. It is very intuitive as a whole because from the beginning you can make notes and square data. I like the alternative of making mentions similar to what we find in social networks, this undoubtedly increases interactivity between those involved in each project.
The overview of Asana in its main panel is very wide and you can see all the notes you have created in the workflow, gives you a comprehensive view of all the progress you've made, although sometimes it can be confusing to handle so many elements on a single screen, is useful because you do not miss any detail and forgetfulness is rare. With respect to subtasks and other items this system is well implemented because each action will generate an alert via email and this will not make you lose any detail when you have the main panel full of complex workflows.
Notifications for any change are massive via email and this is important to keep track of any changes your team makes, it can be annoying in projects that do not have high priority but in my team we only use Asana for fast projects and high priority, so this feature of constant notifications have been very helpful.
The user experience is simple but you'll have to deal with the platform for at least an hour to become fully familiar with it and get the most out of it. The color scheme is well used and the speed is always present, you will not experience any delay in data processing so you will save a lot of time and you will only have to worry about prioritizing your project well.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I have regarding Asana in general is the continuous logout that I experience on some occasions, the work is saved but it is annoying to have to log in at every moment. I have already reported this problem to the support team waiting for them to fix it. Other changes I would make in Asana would be to change the look of the dashboard for a more organized one where workflows can be organized by folders or at least that each column differs from the other with brighter colors than the difference from each other and thus avoid mistakes when downloading data into text fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In general Asana meets the expectations to position itself as one of the best workflow managers, I recommend using it in its free version because you get to do a lot, those who are going to buy paid versions should consider familiarize completely with Asana so they can get real benefit.
Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you are able to set due dates and make different categories for your tasks in Asana. It is also helpful to be able to have shared projects with others. This is especially helpful in a billing setting when two of us are handling billing tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that things don't save as drafts because sometimes I'll accidentally lose everything I typed into a task. I also wish you could archive a bit easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned before, it makes handling billing tasks easier when there are two of us managing it. We can assign each task so it is clear who is doing what.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great task management system with multiple capabilities. I would strongly consider it in terms for a business management tool. Your entire team can use it.
Asana for project management

Solving the problem of not being able to keep track of tasks + due dates among teams
Asana
What do you like best about the product?
One platform for all of our group projects and group chats, insteas
What do you dislike about the product?
Clunky group chat feature that pushes out email notifications. Sometimes difficult to find information in group chat threads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Group projects, group e-communication, some document storage
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to assign or include all team members in group chats or projects. If they are not "assigned," they can miss updates
Great for task management, but not as great for managing large scale projects
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, Integrations with 3rd party tools, Customization options
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting, No gantt charting (unless through 3rd party tools)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of what team members are on and less emails circling around
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it to stay organized with personal tasks, to manage task distribution in a small team (<10), or to get a good top-level understanding of what other teams are up to.
You will need to create separate Asana projects to track milestones and separate Asana projects where you can be more granular in terms of tasks, their description and possibly subtasks (these projects are where the work will happen). This would all be for the sake of better visibility of the status of cross-departmental projects.
