  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to view / add to / comment on each team member's to-do lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
Set up of a system that works for your team can be time consuming and confusing at first. Not all features are useful for everyone, so it can be a bit overwhelming to get started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication regarding long-term projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look past the features you may not need- if you don' need them, then don't use them. Don't disregard the product because of too many features.

What do you dislike about the product?
I get constant emails with all the updates, this can be annoying at times because you receive notification a lot, even though some would say that its good reminders, I don't like getting them for every single comment that gets added. If I know that a project has a deadline or a due date that I want to check the progress of the project when I know that the due date is coming up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complete project with other coworkers and all of us being on the page is becoming easier. When all the details are clearly on the notes, everyone knows what is expected of them and also they cant tell me things like 'I did not know' Or "we did not talk about that" that is actually my favorite part of sharing projects. Also when we are working on projects I like the fact that we can add attachments, this has helped a lot because I don't have to keep going back to my emails and looking for them, also we can always attached the most update form or PDF that we are currently working on. Like that also
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Is a great tool to stay organized

Asana runs my business

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great functionality, easy to use, and a fantastic way to keep everything organized and stay on top of everything. I use it for every internal process, tracking my clients, and all projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a fan of the pricing model. To upgrade I have to purchase a minimum of 5 seats, but I only need 1 seat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on top of project deadlines, tracking all clients and leads, tracking the tasks of team members, reducing the need for conversation/meetings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend. you must commit to using it and keeping it up to date to get the most value. It helps if you have someone who is dedicated to this.

He is a perfect task manager.

What do you like best about the product?
It has a user interface and a nice-looking color scheme. You can manage the lists according to the type of tasks. Everything is saved in the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you add a task with an expiration date and an expiration time, you do not receive an open bell or an emergent notification at the time of expiration and this is a little inefficient because you have to constantly check the email or Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my company it is a very useful tool for all jobs and it has quickly become a platform of obligatory use within my organization. It has a good time tracking platform so that my employees do not have to switch between windows to keep track of the project they are working on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana keeps me organized and helps me to keep in touch with all my employees, at the same time it allows me to see the progress of the projects of each of the departments within my company.

Good tool but seems complicated

  • May 06, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's good for managing projects, but I am not sure of its benefit over other collaborative tools
What do you dislike about the product?
It's another tool! We use too many platforms around here. It's not clear why Asana is better than anything else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly our marketing department uses this tool. I haven't used it frequently.

It is a very practical and dynamic tool that allows you to manage and manage tasks and assign them to the entire work group, as well as provide functions so that all members of the work team can see in digital all the progress and achievements of their work. assigned responsibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the most noticeable drawback with this tool is the number of notifications that can appear for the same group of tasks.

It is a very versatile tool that allows you to handle different types of tasks and thus maintain a greater organization of all tasks, files and projects all in one place

What do you like best about the product?
A fundamental collaborator for the organization of teamwork. It has predetermined templates applicable to work dynamics depending on projects or tasks. We can customize the fields. Its interface is simple. Assigning tasks or support allows the daily activities of the company to flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is limited, necessarily if your company is large you should opt for a good plan that they offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Optimization of teamwork and increase of positive results in terms of increased productivity. Instant feedback Effectively carry out brainstorming.

The lowest-drag project management software I've ever used

  • May 05, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana simplifies tracking and task assigning for all the teams I use it with. It's how I make sure my projects get done on time and its effective mobile app lets me do this even when I'm not at my laptop.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a bit slow compared to organizing on paper, but the cloud storage and ease of assigning tasks to other people more than makes up for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important thing I've done is organize my work teams by inputting our tasks determined in our scrum meetings into the system. That let us simulate the benefits of a daily scrum meeting even though we weren't in the same physical space.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go through the tutorials. They're well designed and will help you get through the learning curve fast.

Easy to use team project software

  • May 05, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are several things I like about this software. It is free and easy to use, which are the most important things. Adding tasks and assigning tasks to users is very intuitive. You are able to set due dates, assign task priorities, comment on tasks, attach files to tasks, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main dislike is the mobile interface. It's not particularly difficult to use, but it's not as seamless and user friendly as the desktop version. This is only a minor complaint and certainly not enough to turn me away. I still suggest this software for anyone looking for free and easy project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this on a daily/weekly basis to establish progress on many different projects and tasks that need to be done. This is only used to track the 1-off tasks, and not daily tasks that are expected to be completed and repeated on a regular basis. This app has become increasingly useful as we have added members to our team, as tracking projects grows quickly as members are added and more work avenues can be explored.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a small team this is a perfect software to use. It is free and includes any features that I could possibly imagine anyone looking for a project management software might want. For reference, our team is currently at 5 total people who use the software. We would comfortably continue to use this software for up to 20+ people before considering any software re-evaluations.
