Useful team project tool but has some kinks
What do you like best about the product?
I like how organized the system helps you to be - it keeps a record of your projects and tasks, allows for collaboration and communication
What do you dislike about the product?
Often times I get tasks that duplicate for no reason and there is no way to save aspects of a project or tasks for future reference if you're not the project owner. It would be nice if time tracking was fully integrated...they have a plug in but it's not useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for freelance work to manage projects, deadlines, and communicate with my peers

Effective if used correctly
What do you like best about the product?
This is the best product I've found for task management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The alerts are not yet at the right cadence. The Slack bot spams your channel and the emails are frequent -- I haven't figure out what the most useful setting is yet. We just leave it open on a tab and monitor it daily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps us with project management, bug tracking, and daily collaboration as a remote team.

Great tool - I never forgot anything while using Asana.

It is very easy to get where you wanna be - the structure is not difficult.

I don't know. I think it is a good tool and there's nothing I wouldn't like

I plan my schedule, what I will do that day and in which hour. I also assign tasks to other team members and get tasks fro them too.
UI is the Best
What do you like best about the product?
I believe that ASANA UI is better than other tools for developers.

I think sprint planning can be easier. Hence there should some agile templates.

We are using for software development process and we liked it.
Awesome tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
The way you create a task and make tag them to whatever you want, that gives you good filtration option.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to create sprints and releases, after releasing a sprint we have to write release notes, also we were not able to differentiate between task and bugs

We wanted our team to be more robust and, every individual knows what they are working on, that makes process very transparent and efficient

Sometimes there is so much going on in the app that it could be distracting.

What do you like best about the product?
The Asana interface is extremely intuitive. It allows for cross departmental collaboration through projects. I like that I can assign duties to those beyond my team and still hold them accountable on a project (like blog contributions, PR, and promotional timelines). The interface is clean, easy to use, and customizable. It is truly an efficient project management tool, which enables teams to track absolutely everything that we are working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inbox feed can definitely be enhanced. I often lose track of new comments and revisions to updates on Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems that I solve include Project Management (internal teams and IT), budget management and portfolio management. I have been able to realize tremendous benefits in a lower amount of time needed to address our key issues in leveraging Asana.

Asana is an excellent project management tool, which makes collaboration easy and overcoming the challenge of being organized.

All the powerfull project management features and the team collaboration options
What do you dislike about the product?
No time tracking features. This is a pro level app, instead of offering 3rd party integration with apps like Harverst they should provide a native option to track time and money

What do you like best about the product?
Simple for others on the team to learn and start using it. We used Atlassian before, and our colleagues weren't too engaging with it. Once we switched to Asana the engagement increased and the learning curve was very short.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't really have any particular dislikes. Not everybody knows how to use it, but the learning curve is pretty short. We hope it will become more industry standard and they will add additional functionality, but I can't think of any complaints at the moment.

We wanted to increase the engagement with our project management tools. We had low engagement with previous tools.
