Help yourself and your employees stay on top of tasks

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy this app because I'm most productive when my tasks/job are laid out in one place for me to see. I can update it or make changes any time, and can even create categories for tasks if I want to work on one section at a time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't much I don't like about Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Employees no longer have the excuse of "I didn't finish that because I didn't know I was supposed to do it" and holds everyone accountable.

Good for a small business

What do you like best about the product?
This project has helped keep our different teams in sync by seeing what goes on from department to department, and where current projects are as far as completion schedules are concerned.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our small business is older and has a tendency to rely on old habits and the mantra "If it's not broken, don't fix it." Transitioning to Asana from the old standard (e-mail) has been a bit of a hassle but we see the benefits long term in using a site like this to help streamline communication in a more organized fashion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of e-mailing questions to one another about project status, we can just login to Asana and get real time updates from different departments. Our waterjet operator has chosen to implement this means of communication and we've already seen great rewards from switching over (and he's much happier not answering a million emails a day!)

Nice product with rich and advance features

What do you like best about the product?
It is a good product that includes all features ranging from basic level .to advance level that are required in products under the category. Also its easy to use for all users. It makes the life easier to a much extent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although its a nice product , but still it lacks in some areas like there are somethings that can be improved like its UI and UX can be more easier and loading of the pages and navigation among the .different screens in the tool can be made faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using the product for some time in my work place. It has made the life easier and management of the projects and tasks has been much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
The collaborative qualities are good. Reminders, assigning tasks etc. Are helpful. It is a functional application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is not intuitive. If it is not intuitive for me, a seasoned worker, you can be sure it is not intuitive for millennials. Drag and drop, renaming, deleting, assigning categories, being unable to assign one task to multiple people, not being able to easily save views - all terribly cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accountability. And it works in that respect.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy platform to keep focused and organized. Asana is crucial to organize not only company wide initiatives, but also a great place to organize a personal workday.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes can be confusing when trying to pick the best notifications settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great place to drive productivity across the company, and with yourself.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it very easy for me while I am working to be able to keep track of all of the customers that need to be called back.. it allows me to seperate my personal calls from work calla.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are not careful when you set your dates you will put the item on the calendar years in the future. It could cause you to miss a date that work needs to be done if your not careful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to make sure that all of the customers that we promised to get called back receive that call that they are expecting. This makes us more reliable and trustworthy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This software is a must to schedule your work needs.

A Lackluster App for Team Communication

What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to have all of your conversations, deadlines, and goals in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is so boring and antiquated. We switched over to Slack, which is much more organized and aesthetically pleasing for our brand and business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were staying on task with our internal deadlines constantly on display (and moving forward or backward depending on how productive we were being as a team).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We switched to Slack recently and could not be happier.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed using Asana because of its organizational skills and abilities to communicate with all members of the project and let them know real time updates while providing next steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not dislike anything about the app I do feel it there could be improvements in regards to more organizational styles. I feel that better search options could be improved as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Over all communication management by allowing us to be in the same page with projects updates and results.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can create and nest subtasks for clearer organization. I also love that you can tag your colleagues, as well as assign specific tasks, which helps everyone stay organized and on top of things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it's difficult to view task lists in full screen. To do that I have to copy the link to the list into a new tab, and I often accidentally click out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our team stay organized and on top of things. I helps prevent things from falling through the cracks, and where things in emails can get overlooked, Asana tasks are more difficult to miss when you're going through a list.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider it's compatibility with other products you use, like Slack.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked being able to set deadlines for myself and get reminders. It was also really easy to reassign a task to the next person who needed to work on it, or tag someone with a question.
What do you dislike about the product?
It had a pretty steep learning curve, and after three years I was still figuring out all the features it has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a lot of really complex, cross-departmental projects going all the time, and we weren't all in the same location; Asana made it easy to pass tasks from person to person and keep track of what your responsibilities were.
