What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can assign projects to people and the software reminds you of project deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a lot of extra emails sent through the program.

Internal collaboration and teamwork.

What do you like best about the product?
the ability to customize how I view my tasklist
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I want to view a list other than the 'default' setting, so I change it, but it occasionally changes back. Super frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Letting things drop off or get pushed and pushed and never get done. Projects are completed faster and better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Absolutely use and rely on this product. It works best with full team collaboration and use, but I've also used it on my own as my own to-do list software. It really helps me keep on top of projects, deadlines, due dates and misc. tasks that I'd probably otherwise forget to take care of.

Sime controls and ease of use make asana simple to implement and simple to have people keep up with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the multiple layers of comments were a little simpiler to navigate.

It's great for managing outsourced contract work in other countries and allows you to create as many projects as you like and share specifics about the project with todo list items and files.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to pay to be able to get a dashboard with all the outstanding tasks.

Managing ongoing projects. Works great for sharing work.

Asana Frees My Mind
What do you like best about the product?
I like the visuals of the project boards, the ability to assign tasks to team members, and the lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tasks flooding your inbox can be overwhelming. I wish there was a way to mute certain projects or mute updates based on a time frame (IE no updates from an item listed at Q4)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's less business problems and more allowing me to shift items from my inbox, notepad, and sticky notes into asana.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't just get Asana assuming it will solve everything, it's primarily still up to you to make it part of your routine and be able to distill information into it.
Basic project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it's a project management tool and also helps prioritize tasks for departments. The chat tool is very convenient and it's nice that it allows you to integrate google sheets. It is a seemingly user friendly and a useful tool for project management overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not an all-in-one program. Our agency has the need for a software that not only helps with project management, but we also need time tracking and a more efficient way to invoice etc. This is only one of the components we need. This would be great for someone who just needs a project management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While my agency used this, it did help determine deadlines and priorities and allowed teams to easily communicate within a project. We were able to hit our deadlines and adjust tasks on Asana as needed.

A great tool for basic task management for any company.

I love how it constantly follows up with reminders and keeps me on my toes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find that tagging people in tasks doesn't notify them to follow up.

Ensuring our client-work never falls through the cracks. It's been great for that!
Best Project Management System To Date
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can assign tasks and due dates to people, and the new 'board' feature which integrates the functionality that trello has.
It's also great because people get automatically notified and I can clearly see what is due and what is finished.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that projects automatically show for all assigned people in the Workspace. Sometimes I want to create multiple projects for my developer and myself and assign different clients for each one. I have to create new workspaces for all these projects and it becomes quite a lot of Workspaces.
Rather I would like to have small amounts of Workspaces, such as Web Development, App Development, Graphic Design, Themes etc and have multiple projects with different people inside. There is no option to do this.
That is my biggest annoyance with the software right now, because it's not logical to the way I want to project management.
I also wish you can assign a task to 2 people if needed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organzine all my projects! I used to have around 5 projects running at the same time and those could be handled with email, however, now it's more like 15-20 projects at the same time and I need somewhere to organize and keep all the data. It's great, minus the whole structure hierarchy that is ridged. If they allow the ability to control people inside projects of a workspace it would be wonderful!

I always recommend people to use Asana, especially my clients and workers.

I like that you can assign tasks to coworkers and Asana will remind them when it is due.

I think it could be made more user friendly.

We need fewer meetings with Asana because we can just assign tasks.
