The Collaborative Tool For Work

  • June 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana allows my team to collaborate conveniently, even though we are all far apart, working from our homes. The interface is straightforward to use, and Asana itself provides free training on how to use its features.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, the only thing I do not like about Asana is the color coding is strictly uniform for every member as per the admin's settings. Although I understand the importance of that, I wish I could customize the projects' colors that only I can see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Asana, as an employee with piles of task, I really struggle with scheduling my deliverables. I use Google Sheet to create a make-shift calendar of my tasks and deadlines and I have to manually input everything thrown into my plate (i.e., forwarded tasks from Project Managers and requests from colleagues). Asana has helped me automatize a lot of things.

What do you like best about the product?
This walkthrough provided a wonderful overview of dashboards and reporting features in Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides do not exist that I can see so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management creates more space in my calendar and improves how I manage my time.

Project Management for Complex Remote Teams

  • June 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana can connect teams spread out by geographical distances and time zones. We can all work asynchronously and still be very efficient and know what priorities are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any project management platform will always have a small learning curve. Once new members start feeling comfortable with a new user experience, it's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping us manage our creative resource allocation and helping us forecast how much availability we have for future campaign planning.

Game changer for everything we do

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is quite literally the only way myself and my team get anything done. I refer to it as my second brain because I put so much information in there and I know that I can set it and forget it (until I need to action on it). I have used it for my entire professional career and honestly really couldn't work without it. The projects, templates, workflows and customization all make everything so easy to use. Love the integrations with other platforms like Mailchimp to make things way easier to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to share information contained within asana with other people at our company who do not have an account. I am often asked to export information for that reason, but the export has to contain 100% of information in a project and I can't select exactly what I would want to export.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management, task collaboration (we are a remote company), event management for all the tradeshows we attend, and more. Honestly very rarely work outside of it.

Asana is a great and light task force application for students and more

What do you like best about the product?
clearly I missed out on using something like Asana being super helpful and wished I used asana during my earlier years of post secondary education. Some of my favorite features about Asana is that they created an ease with their workflow and timeline sections when creating a new project. Everything on your screen neatly laid out in terms of discussion tasks, project ideas, and setting your status to when a project starts and ends. Everything is straightforward for the most part and super collaborative. As for frequency of use here, using it a few times have made projects or solid tasks more memorable with people. To-do boards and lists are one of my favorite features in order to ease the implementation of organizing complex or multi-step tasks. Customer support is super easy to access and the integration of working with people and the tools required for success is clearly shown in your performance on the web interface application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The advanced 14 day free trial is offered but really unnecessary, and overall this website would benefit a lot from people using it more than having to pay for it just to use those same amazing features. Otherwise it should be free for students working on big upcoming projects and tasks for the week(s) or semester.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Explicitly organizing big work projects by color, time, date, name, and marked progressing tasks seamlessly and very conveniently. Solves the problem of task delegation made easier for everyone, give a motivational format for groups working together. Each team member gets to set their own deadlines and track their progress along the time, it can be a lot of work in the beginning but it prevents you from forgetting the each delegated task of each member of a final project. if there is a lot to keep on top of you stay accountable to the team and monitor yourself accordingly by avoiding being late due dates for any project deadlines

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how it brings clarity and structure to team workflows. It’s intuitive, highly customizable, and makes it easy to track progress, delegate tasks, and stay aligned, especially in fast-moving, remote environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is powerful, its flexibility can be overwhelming at first, especially for new users without clear setup guidance. Some features, like advanced reporting or workload views, are locked behind premium tiers, which can limit smaller teams from maximizing its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of scattered communication and unclear task ownership. By centralizing projects, deadlines, and responsibilities, it keeps everyone in the team aligned and accountable. For me, it reduces follow-up emails, streamlines collaboration, and ensures that nothing falls through the cracks.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to effectively manage my engineering projects and delegate tasks to my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot of downsides. It would be good if it had chat feature like slack, but other than that it's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me manage a large number of projects and keep track of where the jobs are at.

Asana is the best tool for organizing projects

What do you like best about the product?
As a recruiter and people operations specialist, it really helps me organize each position and candidate profile. It also allows me to create onboarding projects for every new hire.
What do you dislike about the product?
The iPad version lacks some features, which makes the work a bit more challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a recruiter and people ops specialist, Asana helps me stay organized by tracking each role and candidate through every stage. I also use it to create customized onboarding projects for new hires, ensuring a smooth and structured start.

Make Your Life Better

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like best: aesthetics and intuitive use of it; the ability to easily flip between list and index card / kanban view; the mobile app is really good.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not always transparent or clear what is available in free version vs not. Also don't like having permanent reminder to 'upgrade' even though I have a paid Business version! Upgrading would make absolutely no sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is best for helping a team work together and know who is doing what parts of a project, with deadlines. We also use it a bit as an SOP - a person can take a glance at a project and get a sense of whether all the key steps are there, key milestones, etc.
