Building Applications with pre-builted components!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that materialize is already included inside NPM allowing you to easily import any of the the designs needed to build out an application. I love it because you don't have to reinvent the wheel when google provides you with great designs for building forms and such. I love it for that reason!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that alot of the responsive features use Jquery which is pretty outdated. So you can't utilize some features in react such as Autocomplete without importing another library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When building our our application, we choose to use Materialize as our CSS Framework, this allowed us to focus on the development of handling operations and not the design. It looks great and works without having alter anything! It's great because it speed up a majority of development only focusing on what's important.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a modern looking application, I would recommend Materialize to handle all of the CSS work for you! It's a great solution overall and will definitely make you have a foot over your competition.

Materialize is the way to go for mobile web applications
What do you like best about the product?
Materialize has flat simplistic design style that looks better on mobile devices than bootstrap. Materialize styles are more optimized for mobile and touch screen interactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Materialize has less support and a lower community of active users than Bootstrap. Its is harder to get assistance online or tutorials than is the case with bootstrap
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Materialize css styles give a mobile web application a native appeal than you would get while using bootstrap.
Very easy to implement and use
What do you like best about the product?
The framework is very clean and organized. You can find the class you need very fast and in a intuitive menu. It has the majority of the elements and front end interactions that you need to set up a very nice and good looking Website or web app. The best thing for me is the simple implementation using CDN or downloading the files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though materialize has its own documentation some times you need to make some changes that it is not specified in the doc. I would like materialize to have a community or at least the most common QAs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had set up functional static websites in just some minutes using this framework with high acceptance and very good look and feel.

What do you like best about the product?
This CSS framework is very light, it is also easy to implement. What is best is that it is pretty easy to do mobile ready websites with it.
The documentation just excellent! I really love it because you can just type what you want on their website and you will have a dedicated page on how to implement that class or component.

What do you dislike about the product?
This framework is not "dislikable" for me. What could improve is the way to use navigation bars on containers. It can get tricky to get it to "full width" while maintaining the container's margins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love to use it with Angular and find it more easy to use it with Angular than using it with Bootstrap, because Bootstrap is very dependent on its script file and materialize isn't. But if you need it, it can be included easily on the component you need it.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of this CSS framework is that besides being light, it is very easy to implement and use. The components are great and it has a really nice minimalist view that is great for both desktop and mobile displays!
The documentation for materialize is just incredibly good! It is one of the best documentations I've ever read. Everything you need to know about this framework is there, and the search feature on the documentation is awesome. Not to mention that there is a community that uses this framework as well!

What do you dislike about the product?
I do not really dislike anything right now about this framework, but it could improve on the way that it handles the left and right margins when inside a container. It is a bit tricky to have the navigation bar to be expanded up to the display's margins and not have some spacing on the display's x axis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use it with Angular and it couples better than Bootstrap. Since it doesn't heavily relay on its script file (which is the contrary for Bootstrap), I can easily use with Angular without caring too much for its script file.
Material Design at it's best!
What do you like best about the product?
With so many new and old design trends it's hard to find that unique balance. Materialize takes an innovative approach to Material Design and incorporates modern web standards to provide a unique UI for the best possible user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though this is a continuing CSS Framework I would like to see more developers involved to make this a standard Framework. Let's get this as popular as Bootstrap or Zurbs Foundation!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a starting point for creating a new Brand for a client that involves mostly online Commerce with some user interactive forms. Since this specific client runs multiple online platforms it was hard trying to match each one with unique values.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for clean, well documented semantic code then Materialize is for you!
All-in-one CSS framework
What do you like best about the product?
Materialize is one of the best CSS Frameworks out there today that mimic the all new Google material design. Creating new fresh websites has never been easier. It comes with tons of pre-made web widgets and are easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything except the tabbed interface which I wish would make a vertical responsive tabbed interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The more options you have in a CSS Framework the faster you can prototype in the faster you can push out web templates.

Incluye multitud de particularidades que lo hacen fluido y robusto. Es un excelente elemento para trabajar el mobile first, incorpora diferentes botones con efectos y menus, iconos, etc..
Reune algunos elementos javascript para complementar sus funcionalidades.

Deberían ampliar algunas funcionalidades de estilos, porque se termina reconociendo el frame en cualquier app que lo usa y aunque es muy elegante y funcional se puede hacer repetitivo.

Resuelve todos los problemas de maquetación de app, formularios, landing-page y páginas web, ya sean corporativas o ecommerce.

Un magnifico framework, ligero y basado en la guia de estilos de material design de google. Dispone de multitud de estilos y rutinas básicas, botones, galerías de iconos, sistema de grilla para el mobile first, y una potenta galeria javascript con las aplicaciones más usuales en framwork de maquetación web.

Que no incluya mas elementos java y jQuery. Ya que tienen una gran potencia y elegancia, pero se hace repetitivo hacer uso de los mismos una y otra vez,

Best jQuery based Material Design Implementation

Materialize has the largest set of components based on a material design that I have ever seen.
It is great if your project is already using jQuery.
It also comes with a pre-built theme which you can use to boost start development.

It is based on jQuery so if your project doesn't have a dependency on jQuery then it is a huge overhead.
Also, the web dev community is moving away from jQuery so Materialize might not be the best choice.

It has a great looking user interface which comes out of the box so you don't require any designer to do the designing for your project.

Go for it if your project heavily relies on jQuery.
