What do you like best about the product?
This product offers excellent out-of-the-box integrations with various tools, making it easy to get started. The support team is highly responsive and always willing to help, even going so far as to provide or develop solutions when needed. I also appreciate the Visual Reference feature in the Editor, which allows linguists to view context easily.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is very simple, easy to use. It clearly eases the collaborative efforts in translating my localization text for my public app. Customer Support is also very good, seems to cover all time zones as I'm getting response promptly although I live in Asia.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't really a downside in Crowdin. The auto deployment is also very comfortable, making it worth spending money on it to save the hassle and time for our team to focus on other aspects of our product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have an app trying to publish in multiple countries, and localization could easily become a hassle if we have a lot of texts and updates. This tool is saving us from the hassle.

Crowdin: Simplifies Translation Management with Room for UI Improvement

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I genuinely appreciate Crowdin's ability to display progress for translating entire languages, which I find incredibly helpful for managing translation projects efficiently. Additionally, the control Crowdin gives me over how and when I publish translation changes is fantastic. I can batch these changes together to be sent as a cohesive unit to the production environment, allowing for organized and structured deployment. The setup process was also straightforward and quick, enabling me to connect Crowdin to our databases and mobile applications and start creating translations within just one day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Crowdin workflow was initially confusing, especially understanding how to start from no translations to creating them in a particular locale. The user interface was not intuitive enough, which added to the confusion. Additionally, improvements are needed in the onboarding process and the UI to make the platform easier to use and understand, especially for infrequent or first-time users. Furthermore, the direct machine-generated translations were not very reliable, necessitating the use of external translation services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Crowdin to streamline translation management, eliminating the need to communicate directly with developers and manually update databases. I can manage app translations across 30 languages directly from the platform, simplifying the process.

Intuitive, Flexible, and Seamless Multilingual Content Management

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how intuitive and flexible Crowdin is when it comes to managing multilingual content. Its integration with GitHub, along with various automation options, makes it simple to keep translations current without the need for manual updates. The user interface is clean, and collaboration among developers, translators, and reviewers is smooth and efficient. The ability to synchronize translations automatically and collaborate with translators in real time is a major upside. Crowdin also supports advanced features such as translation memory, machine translation, and branching workflows, which help streamline updates and maintain quality. Overall, it turns localization into a continuous, manageable process rather than a painful step.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Strapi integration remains unstable and sometimes unreliable, which makes automation harder to trust. Another issue is pricing: the cost per seat is quite high, especially since developers are counted as managers rather than having a dedicated role. This makes it difficult to involve the full technical team without exceeding budget, which limits collaboration and slows progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a way to manage translations for the content in our CMS, and Crowdin stood out because it offers a direct integration with our system. This feature has been a significant benefit, as it enabled us to centralize and automate our entire localization workflow. As a result, we chose to migrate all of our mobile and web applications to Crowdin during this transition.

Seamless Translation Management with World-Class Support

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Crowdin incredibly easy to set up, which made the initial integration process straightforward and stress-free. The support team at Crowdin is phenomenal, always present to assist with any issues I encounter, making me feel supported and understood. Their active involvement means I deal with real individuals in real time, not just bots, ensuring that my problems are prioritized and swiftly resolved. Crowdin effectively helps us manage serving our app in multiple languages by serving as a reliable intermediary between English and our translated strings. Their ability to AI-translate strings is extremely beneficial, allowing for efficient initial translations, which are then verified by vendors before importing only proofread strings into our app. Additionally, the integration with GitHub proves to be a seamless experience, enhancing our workflow. Overall, Crowdin’s world-class support system and efficiency in managing translations are standout qualities that make it invaluable to us.

Many integrations and excellent customer support. I would improve vendor management.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the great range of integrations offered by Crowdin to work with our stakeholders:

- Support (Intercom)
- Designers (Figma)
- Marketing (Contentful)
- Engineers (Github)

Their editor is also very intuitive to use and it offers different views (Side-by-Side, Comfortable, Multilingual, etc.).

Big highlight: Their support team is AMAZING. Always available and really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been facing some challenges working in a federated approach with our vendor (when assigning tasks to our vendor). They only see de new strings assigned in a spefic tasks without being able to cross-reference/check previously translated strings for consistency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin makes it easier to offer localization services to a wide range of stakeholders within tech companies (engineers, designers, support, etc.)

Highly Efficient and Collaborative Translation Tool

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Crowdin for over a year primarily for translating documents at work. The platform is incredibly intuitive, which made setting it up quite easy after going through the manuals. I appreciate how complete it is, eliminating our need to consider switching to another provider. I find Crowdin to be wonderful as it offers a suggestion tool that helps keep translated parts organized and allows for seamless collaboration. The ability to publish translations and have them reviewed for approval is awesome. Crowdin’s collaborative features are immensely beneficial, enabling everyone to see and compare what others are doing, thus enhancing teamwork and efficiency. It helps with dividing the workload effectively and ensures everyone is aligned. Additionally, the organization of documents and projects is neat and supports efficient team management. Overall, it boosts our organizational efficiency, allowing us to categorize projects and share them across the team, satisfying our workflow requirements, and is a platform I would gladly recommend to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options for comparing work not only within the organization but also with work that other people have already published. This feature would allow us to see different contexts and improve our translations by learning from others who have already worked on similar projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Crowdin enhances team collaboration by allowing everyone to see each other's work, divide tasks efficiently, and compare progress, which significantly improves our document translation efficiency.

Powerful Automation and Support, but Feature-Rich Interface Can Be Daunting

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is my second time using Crowdin. I first used it many years ago at a different company and suggested it at a previous company when we considered internationalization. When I joined my current company, they were already doing internationalization but utilizing mostly machine translations and manual work. I suggested Crowdin again because I had experience with it, and I'm happy I did so. I appreciate the attentiveness of both the translators and employees. And especially the responsiveness when it came to working with the API to setup our automations. The #1 thing I like about Crowdin is the ability to automate my entire translations flow via the API and cron jobs. We have a very robust internal system for creating translation files in an automatic manner that we can now just upload via Cron job to Crowdin and have translated once a week. We start out with machine translation so we can ship quickly, and then have Crowdin complete the human translation work that we can pull down later. Overall, it's what I would call an "eventually correct" translation system that works very well for us to maintain velocity while eventually getting reviewed human translations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Crowdin is extremely feature-rich and made to work well with large projects and multiple projects. This can be a little daunting when you have a specific setup in mind and a smaller surface area to cover. We don't have an entire internationalization team or anything like that, so it was up to me as an individual developer to get this set up correct and working. In the end, this was all fine, but the increased feature set that Crowdin now has was definitely daunting at first compared to what I remembered from years ago when I first used Crowdin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Crowdin is solving the problem of having correct translations for our users. Machine translations alone are often incorrect, and even AI, as you know, is not 100%. Having a system that I can automate but goes through a human layer is the number one benefit of Crowdin for us. I also like the sanity checks that Crowdin has built in to ensure translators are not accidentally breaking translation formatting. While we have our own sanity checks for this sort of issue, an extra layer is always appreciated.
