My go-to solution for localizing web apps
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Crowdin for years, and I never hestitate to recommend them. With all the experience they bring to the table, they never stop innovating and lately really doubled down on AI-driven workflows—making continuous localization more affordable and easier than ever.
What do you dislike about the product?
Crowdin provides many configuration options and fits into every workflow your company may require. That can at times be a bit overwhelming when you're just starting out though. Consulting their docs and learning materials can be very helpful here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin enables me to translate web apps with AI-driven, continuous localization.
Managing translations and checking status
What do you like best about the product?
Git Integration, Automation + CLI, Collaborative Interface
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing Model Can Get Expensive, Limited Free Plan
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We translate our content for different countries
Using Crowdin as an open-source software author
What do you like best about the product?
For the internationalization work of the program, using Crowdin is a truly unique experience: Crowdin offers free advanced privileges for open-source projects. I can use its integrated functions to translate the text in the code repository into various languages. Crowdin can automatically download files from the repository and automatically create PRs after translation. This process is highly automated. The web application of Crowdin also supports online previewing of translations, which enables translators to intuitively see the translation effect in a "what you see is what you get" manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Crowdin is difficult to get started with: The UI is complex, it's hard to find the desired functions, and the relationships between various functions are loose.Furthermore, although Crowdin is a translation application, its translations are sourced from the community, which results in poor quality, especially for languages other than English.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin helped me promote my non-commercial open-source game to all over the world.
Great tool with really all the functions we need and even more
What do you like best about the product?
Simple interface, easy configuration, extensive features, and super easy integration of AIs and external systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I really haven't discovered anything yet. Whenever we thought that a certain function was not available, we briefly read the documentation and realized: The function does exist after all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted an easy-to-use tool that can translate our various file formats using AI and a review process by our subsidiaries. Crowdin can accomplish this without any problems.
It's easy to collaborate, but the search tool isn’t very efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is great for collaborative translation.
What do you dislike about the product?
searching for specific terms or content can be frustrating
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transalation & Localization
A beautiful reconciliation between developers and translators
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact that the tool opens pull requests to update translations. The synchronization is great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue for me is the fact of having only one manager on the premium plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No longer be required to export language JSONs for translators. This is beneficial for the efficiency and autonomy of translators.
Great for mobile app localization
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Crowdin for 3 React Native apps for the past 3 years.
Getting projects set up and inviting contributors is really easy. The interface is pretty straightforward, and there is a CLI to upload/download translations easily.
AI-powered translations give you a solid starting point, cutting down the time you'd otherwise spend on manual first drafts.
The crowdsourced translations page is also great; it makes it easy to see who's working on what and review contributions easily.
When I've had questions, the support team has been really quick and efficient, which is rare.

What do you dislike about the product?
Stepping up from the free plan to Pro feels like a biug jump. The increase is hard to justify if you only need a couple extra words or features. It would be nice to have an intermediary plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A centralized and easy to use interface to import/export source files, translate, and manage contributions
Streamlined Translation with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
What you like most about Crowdin is its ability to efficiently manage and streamline the translation process, making it easy to have your software translated into multiple languages. Additionally, the excellent support provided by Crowdin stands out as a key positive aspect, ensuring any issues are promptly addressed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. Generally Crowdin meets all our needs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiently handling the translation workflow of our Windows Application into multiple languages
Efficient Localization Workflow with Strong Contextual Features
What do you like best about the product?
We use Crowdin at Wattstor for managing frontend and backend translations into three languages. After testing a few platforms, Crowdin was the clear winner—it struck a great balance between price and functionality. One of the features I appreciate most is the in-context translation editor. It allows translators to see exactly where each string appears in the interface, which really helps avoid ambiguity. I also like the overall ease of use and how well it integrates with GitHub. The AI-powered suggestions are a nice bonus that helps speed things up without compromising quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue we've run into is the lack of auto-save. On two occasions, our translators made updates but forgot to manually save them, and the changes were lost. If auto-save isn’t feasible, it would be great to have a prompt that reminds users to save before exiting. This small improvement would prevent lost work and frustration. Other than that, the experience has been solid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin helps us solve the challenge of managing consistent, high-quality translations across multiple teams and codebases. At Wattstor, we currently support three languages across both frontend and backend systems, and Crowdin allows us to centralize all translation efforts in one place. It reduces context-switching, eliminates the need for manual file exchanges, and ensures translators work with full UI context. This leads to better accuracy, faster delivery, and fewer bugs in production caused by string mismatches. It’s also helped us streamline collaboration between product, development, and translation teams.
Mature platform with good integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Vast array of integrations. Good core features. Advanced AI translations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Developer seats cost $$$. API is more complex than other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central repo of translations with shared glossaries and translation memories + facilitates AI adoption.
