    Brad G.

Powerful platform, fluent experience, best translation cooperation product.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Easy to use, both for managers, engineers and translators. Our engineering team finds it pretty handy to integrate Crowdin into our existing CI/CD workflow. And inviting external translators is also simple - just send them links. Crowdin has solution for all our needs even before we notice we have it.
2. Blazing fast customer support. We get feedback in several minutes and the accurate answer/solution is included. Fantasy experience.
3. Professional. Crowdin has built-in support to hint non-technical translators about the placeholder(%s, for example) and special characters, this help prevent tons of communication cost.
4. Translation service and AI service integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Directly inviting others with email does not work sometimes. I find the invitation links always work properly.
2. The online editor seems to consume pretty high computer memory, I keep getting reports from translators that their computers got stuck on opening the editor, sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin helps the localization of our software products. Engineers, managers and translators all find it easy to use Crowdin, while Crowdin also provides advanced features to help us integrate it into our CI/CD, all this makes the translation/localization much easiter.

Good software with room for improvement

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Crowdin allows non-technical users to work on translations together with our developers. It has a nice UI that helps to manage strings from our source code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with Gitlab is a little bit flaky. It doesn't always sync strings from our codebase. It creates a commit for every language which means it unnecessarily triggers a CI pipeline for every commit. It formats PO files differently than Django so git history is harder to read.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin allows to translate strings from our PO files

Efficient localization tool with room for improvement

What do you like best about the product?
I found Crowdin's user interface intuitive and easy to navigate. The collaboration features significantly improved our team's efficiency in managing multiple language projects. I particularly appreciate the seamless integration with our development platforms, which has saved us considerable time. The version control system has been invaluable in keeping our translations organized and up-to-date.

We use it regularly and automatically, and every question we had for their support team was answered promptly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Crowdin has many strengths, I've encountered some challenges. The pricing structure felt a bit steep for our project size. I also experienced a learning curve with some of the more advanced features, which initially slowed down our implementation. Occasionally, I've run into synchronization issues that required manual intervention. I wish there was more flexibility in customizing certain aspects of the workflow to better fit our team's specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Almost 40% of our users are from non English speaking countries. The localization of our interface and having a high quality of translation is vital to our business.

Crowdin is fantastic!

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Crowdin is that every time I want to do something new, it doesn't matter how weird of a request, support replies quickly and they usually already have a way to do what I want. Their feature list is impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I don't like about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to manage all our translations in one place with easy user management. The CLI allows us to easily update the files.

The best solution to manage all the product content

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to make the suggestion to make any adjustments. Also so easy to accept or decline all of them. Use this tool everyday more than a few times per day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to mention, everything is really cool. The only small thing - too many emails about the each change on the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have so many supported languages and use them in different product places. Can't imagne how could we manage it in other way.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for both users and admins, along with its easy integration and implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the Georgian language, there are no lowercase and uppercase characters, but Crowdin still throws errors. This has been a pain point for my translators when using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Easy UI

What do you like best about the product?
AI integration!
And the fact that you can feed it with terminology.
It works wondefully well and helps with productivity.

Ease of use and agreable UI/
What do you dislike about the product?
Might be a versioning issue but I have no reference to the source of the translation in the TM which can be a little annoying when we need to clean it. No notion of ICE match either which is helpful in other systems.

I find it a little rough to have a free version, and once you pass this threshold it becomes rather expensive. We are a startup with limitted use. We can go on months without using it. It would be better to have a lower subscription for clients like us.
Paying a subscription should have helped the workflow as our translator can access it now at the same time as the project manager but no. Features are so restricted for the translator that we still using the same sign-in. This is rather inconvenient for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use, modern looking UI.
