Great module with easy usage and management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to allow communities to provide translations for services, allowing for closer co-operation with users and more user feedback and input. This allows users to really have a role, an integral part of providing services for users. It also allows easy management of translations, and provides great and easy implementation as well as integration
What do you dislike about the product?
Crowdin often fails to save login sessions despite marking "stay logged in"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin allows companies to save time for other integral parts of their services/products, by allowing the community to provide translations. This remains a very important part to me and many other companies.

I like everything, the only thing I would change would be to keep the session open, but everything is great

Crowdin increasingly improves its interface to make its use increasingly easier.
Best localization software
What do you like best about the product?
Crowdin is the best localization software based on my experience. It is easy to use. They have great customer support and they are available 24/7. The features are very sample, it is very easy to set up. I recommend Crowdin to any business.

I can't really find any downside with Crowdin

Crowdin helps me to resolve my translations task and provide the best translation service to my clients
Good platform for translating your product
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to connect to DeepL to translate using AI.

Bulk translations with AI would be great.

It's causing us less overhead when it comes to translating our product and its features.

Straightforward and understandable documentation. We were able to set up CrowdIn localization for our project in less than one day.
The fact that CrowdIn supports open-source projects is amazing. That's exactly the spirit every company should strive for.
As for customer support, the speed of their response is exceptional. It took less than 10 minutes in total to answer a number of our team questions.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tooltip messages appearing while using the system might be irrelevant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a social project with around 60-70K words in it. CrowdIn allows us to localize the project to different languages. We mostly use it to coordinate our translators' efforts.
Very good for localization

It's very useful to use for helping to localize other projects as well as your own. Everything is easy to learn and frees up a lot of time for those who need good localization but have other priorities,

The webpage is easy to get lost in, and the plugins can be shoddy

It's useful for getting translation and localization done fast, with little impact on developers, giving translations a fast turnaround time.
Stable and fast to set up solution for managing localization
What do you like best about the product?
I have used crowdin both as a translator and as a project manager. Overall, both experiences have been pleasant.
The crowdin translate / term manager features are very useful for translating strings and keeping them consistent across the project.
I currently use it mostly as a translator / manager on a large open source project where I contribute weekly.

To be honest, I cannot think of a solid downside, but I do feel like it might be hostile towards less technologically savvy people.

Crowdin solves the headache that would be coordinating a team of translators and allows the general community to improve translations

For my current use I do not see any disadvantages.

Allows cooperation between different people in the translation and in choosing the best possible translation

It's extremely easy to contribute a translation. Click the link in an email, type, save. No wasted time.

It is a bit counterintuitive to search for strings and translations. Some events like comments in threads aren't notified by default.

What do you like best about the product?
The Crowdin has been an indispensable tool for my translation and revision endeavors. It has significantly streamlined my workflow, allowing me to efficiently translate and review texts. Moreover, it has afforded me the opportunity to volunteer as a translator and reviewer for a major German Minecraft server known as GommeHD. In this role, I've been actively engaged in translating from German/English to Brazilian Portuguese. The collaborative nature of Crowdin, coupled with its intuitive interface, has made this translation journey for GommeHD exceptionally productive and rewarding. I am thrilled to contribute to enhancing the gaming experience for the Brazilian Portuguese-speaking community within the Minecraft realm on this renowned server.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Crowdin presents a challenge when dealing with "dead" or inactive projects. Since it's a collaborative platform, inactive projects can lose momentum and participation over time. Without ongoing engagement and activity, maintaining momentum and ensuring completion can be difficult. Communication and efforts from all contributors are crucial to keep the project alive and progressing. It's essential to establish clear guidelines and maintain team engagement to overcome this particular challenge in using Crowdin effectively for projects that might face periods of inactivity.

The platform provides an intuitive and centralized workspace that simplifies project management. I can easily organize and oversee all translation tasks, track progress, and manage terminology in one cohesive environment. This centralized approach minimizes the chances of overlooking specific translation segments or losing track of project status.
