Very reliable and stable software
What do you like best about the product?
The shortcuts are the best feature of Crowding. I like that I can customize it to my needs and increase my workflow. I also like that I can easily list different but similar languages right below my translation, which can help me translate more efficiently and quicker.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the notifications to project updates are not as quick as I would like. There is a delay sometimes, and depending on the number of people on the project, I can get behind because I didn't receive the notification immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowding is providing me a reliable tool to translate and localize projects that I work on. It gives me a flexible UI that can put me on my best workflow right away. It is benefiting me because I don't need to fiddle too much with the software, think about configurations and stuff.
Hands down the best translation platform.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the platform's user-friendly interface and intuitive workflow. I had never done any translating work before, and when a project I wanted to support opened up volunteer translations i just went for it. It was super easy to start and understand how the platform worked. Eventually I became a proofreader for that project.
So, basically, the ease of use and intuitivity.

What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe this exists and I just haven't seen it, but it would be really great for proofreaders to be able to use a Keyboard shortcut to Submit+Aprove translations you're writing yourself. That or have a switch that auto aproves translations that you translated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't come around posting my own projects on crowdin. I tried to once but then that project was abandoned, so I don't have much experience in the Project side of things.
But, as a Translator and Proofreader, I think crowdin is a really powerful tool that helps Projects break the Language barrier in a simple, and honestly fun way! The fact that it's really easy to start translating a project and just, worry more about the translations and Language and less about "how do I do this on this software". Crowdin is just there, and it feels like it's by my side when translating the content and not interfering with the process.

Good service for cooperation between linguist
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the cooperative approach it has. I think it's possibly the best tool of this kind in the translation industry, if we're speaking about cooperation between linguists.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly like the lack of complex management, that I experience going from memoQ to pretty much, and other CAT or TMS - Crowdin included. It should at least support advanced filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first and most important aspect of Crowdin that it's solving is surely about helping keeping teams together in one handy place and capitalizing on that strength for a good teamwork.
Great for group open-source projects
What do you like best about the product?
Access to free localization tools for open-source projects once reviewed by Crowdin. Used it to manage and localize a guide that the community made up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Translation Memory is inconsistent at best. While it is smart enough to figure out some strings from the past were similar enough and was able to offer previous localized strings, half of the time it doesn't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps people worldwide by allowing the community to develop localizations for projects they love and are passionate about.
Great translation platform, legendary support
What do you like best about the product?
Good UX, excellent support, great integration capabilities, and supports all kinds of translation workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it's so powerful, it has a lot of settings that can be intimidating to administrate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin helped us to coordinate a community of translators on our open-source projects.
great translation project
What do you like best about the product?
its a great place to start a translate project and other users also can contribute too
What do you dislike about the product?
it would be great if it was easier to invite users to a project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it can help alot of users who wants theor projects to go worldwide also that they dont have budget to make a profrssional translation
Easiest Localization Platform for Project Managers and Linguists
What do you like best about the product?
Besides their responsive customer service team who never lets me down, Crowdin is an intuitive tool to use, esp. for game localization projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would change in Crowdin is having the same segment displayed in its order after canceling the text filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intuitive user interface, fast servers, 99.9% up time. The comments section is also great for raising queries and receiving reply notifications.
Still a very useful tool, but some changes are not helpful
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple integrations, although not often used by project managers
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that All, Untranslated First is still a default setting. I need to change it every time as it sorts the strings in a very awkward way. I don't like the change to the TB interface - I have to click through several options to add a term - a basic term addition should be as fast as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you localize games or software you have to closely cooperate with the developers, and that is possible when you use Crowdin. It's is also easy to check the screenshot that can be attached to a specific string.
Outstanding experience with few issues.
What do you like best about the product?
Simple, fast, available everywhere. Clear interface and a dark theme to boot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes a bit slow, even on a fast network. Some slowdowns when strings are long and filled with tags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin is my main work tool provided by some clients. The Poedit integration is great when I work offline.
Good job
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know. All my troubles were solved with support help
