Great Price

clear view auto focus, easy to find issues

Very Good Cloud Managed Video Surveillance Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud manageability and security. The ability to have every camera in your multi-location environment right in the same console is powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price. The cameras are good but pricey. On top of that a license per camera is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To help improve our network security by providing all secure communications between cameras, users and cloud platform.
It's an "OK" system.
What do you like best about the product?
It's very intuitive. Great cameras at a lower cost than other competitors. Easy to install. Very responsive support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pre-registering is great but doesn't seem to work as well as planned. I can assign it policies and configurations before it gets here, however, when it does, I'm unable to finish the registration. Reporting on the Access Controller still needs fine-tuned. There's a lot missing from the report that's crucial for Industrial / Food Processing verticals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system we had prior to Rhombus was over 10 years old and still using an onsite NVR system with little backup. This is creating a cloud solution with updated cameras.

Great one stop shop for security solutions you can trust and depend on
What do you like best about the product?
The culture of service and the mindset of growth of the people of the company gave me trust in them to tackle any challenge knowing they would be honest, listening, and really address customer needs. We operate commercial real estate and security has been a challenge over the past years especially in the big cities. Last year we onboarded Rhombus and in the past 12 months, we have installed almost 100 locations with Rhombus. The abundance of available features and integrations and their alarm monitoring made them an invaluable asset to our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their app could sometimes be a bit unstable as they have been adding a ton of new features on a regular basis. That said, I know they are committed to improve the app next year and I have faith that they can make it even better than the console.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us secure our stores during off hours when nobody is onsite. It is also helping us make our training easier for our people to use because they integrate with our access control system.
Rhombus Camera System
What do you like best about the product?
We made a good choice when we chose Rhombus in 2021 to replace our legacy analog camera and DVR system. I remember how impressed I was when I saw a demo of the software. I continue to be impressed with how intuitive and easy to use the software is, and how often Rhombus adds features. Their support is very good as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any downsides. We are very happy with our decision to purchase the Rhombus camera system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have access to our cameras from anywhere, and have 90 days of local storage right on the camera. It is so easy to save and send video clips if needed.
