Seamless Connectivity, Essential for Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I find Zoom Workplace incredibly efficient for conducting meetings with multiple participants at the same time, which is crucial for my interactions with different companies. The ability to see and interact with people in real-time as if we were face-to-face significantly enhances communication and collaboration. Its robust network connection is another standout feature—it ensures smooth calls without glitches, which is essential for maintaining productive meetings. Additionally, the platform's noise cancellation feature is particularly beneficial, as it minimizes background noise, allowing for clearer communication. The ease of initial setup was impressive; it was straightforward without any complications, streamlining the transition for my team. Given its effectiveness and reliability, I would recommend Zoom Workplace to others with a confident rating of 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am frustrated by the occasional issue with the mute function in Zoom Workplace. Sometimes, even when the mute button is tapped, it still picks up little sounds. This can be disruptive during meetings, and I feel this aspect should be improved.

Wasted Time in Meetings
Before, during, and after meetings, important assets (like agendas, files, or chat) were scattered. Zoom now has a Meetings tab inside its app that centralizes meeting lifecycle: calendar, chat, recordings, and shared docs.
The continuous meeting chat means conversations don’t have to start and stop strictly within meeting time you can pick up threads afterward.

Reliable and easy-to-use tool for everyday collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Zoom Workplace almost every day for research meetings, clinical project discussions, and vendor calls. The best part is how reliable it is even with large groups. Screen sharing, breakout rooms, and the recording feature make collaboration very easy. I also like that scheduling through the desktop app and Outlook is quick and consistent. Overall, it fits well into my workflow and is very straightforward to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I notice is that Zoom can be heavy on CPU usage during long meetings, especially when multiple people are sharing video. Occasionally the audio cuts out briefly if my network fluctuates. I also feel that switching between accounts (work vs personal) could be smoother. These are not deal-breakers, but they do interrupt the experience at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace makes it much easier for me to coordinate with collaborators, vendors, and research teams who are spread across different locations. Instead of trying to arrange in-person meetings or long email threads, I can quickly schedule virtual discussions and share screens to review designs, data, or documents. It also helps with cross-institutional work, since I often need to meet with clinicians, engineers, and industry partners. The platform saves me a significant amount of time, keeps projects moving faster, and allows me to stay connected even when traveling or working from the lab.
Integrates Teams Effortlessly, Needs Device Consistency
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the whiteboard feature in Zoom Workplace because it significantly enhances collaboration and project-solving among our teams. It allows us to map ideas, design workflows, and visually express complex concepts seamlessly on the same platform, negating the need for third-party tools. I also admire that projects can be managed on a single platform, streamlining our team's activities. Furthermore, the ease of the interface helps reduce training time, making it user-friendly. The superior reliability and performance of meetings in Zoom Workplace compared to Microsoft Teams are impressive. Additionally, the setup process is incredibly simple, and the Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality is commendable, contributing to the overall ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of cross-platform consistency in Zoom Workplace troublesome. Features related to task management and workspace view behave differently across desktop, mobile, and web platforms. This inconsistency can disrupt workflow and necessitates users to adjust their expectations based on the device they are using.
