Solid and widely used platform

  • October 19, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
They are committed to consistently evolving their product, and that's great for a software provider. The new AI notetaking feature is an excellent tool for saving time after meetings and sending summaries that include next steps. Native AI tools can make it easier to rely on a single application for meeting support, rather than cobbling together multiple options in the past. This can reduce monthly subscriptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reliability of some AI tools is not perfect, so I often add a tool like Fathom to ensure I have a backup. There have been times when I went looking for meeting summaries, only to find the AI was turned on and there wasn't one, and I was glad to have the backup transcript. New features are great, but their rollout is confusing and results in information overload. They need to get better at communicating these. The price point is still not competitive. Many new players are rolling out platforms with more features for less. Going beyond Zoom's basic paid first tier is more costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling calls easily for multiple purposes and having those invited access it easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would buy this hands down for video conferencing. Great value for the money!

Zoom - A Quality Option for Therapy with a Single Client or Multiple Clients

  • October 12, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform has a lot of good options to use on the low end for free or low cost. It provides a good way to be able to train or meet at a distance. At the higher end, plans lose some options but gain all the security needed for a quality telementalhealth platform. There are particularly effective ways to securely work with not only individual clients but also couples and families, even if they cannot be in the same place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There still is a cost for being a compliant platform, although it has been reduced by Zoom. This can make it difficult for smaller practices as there is no easy way to share licenses among clinicians who are not practicing at the same time, the same way that a room in an office can be shared.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to interact across distances and to minimize commuting time for meetings. Additionally, these can be recorded for those not accessing real time. I also use it for client care in telemnetalhealth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider carefully whether the product is correct for your size of operation.

Easy to use video solution for distributed teams

  • September 20, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy setup of video calls, HD voice and video, companion mobile app allows access anywhere, dial-in number for those without webcam setup, easy screen share functionality, scalability for large meetings (20+)
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes can be finnicky with session recording. I have had an issue in the past with my webcam driver not working properly with Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now able to video conference in people from around the world in a way we haven't been able to do before. What went from static conference calls, are now dynamic video calls with screen sharing and annotation.

Best I've used for my needs

  • June 22, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use (after getting over the initial anxiety hurdle), easy screen sharing, works even when bandwidth isn't optimum.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only one thing so far (but not a big problem): I'd like to put other colleagues who are also Pro users, into a Group, but I don't think that's possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Frustration-free supervision of small groups (1-~10) many countries, sometimes continents, separated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it, you'll like it.

Zoom Is A Daily Driver

  • March 16, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is reliable in all use situations. App on broadband at the home office. Check. App on mobile devices on mobile broadband. Check. App on Wi-Fi at a coffee shop. Check. The reliability, ease of use, Google Calendar plug in all are both easy to use and super efficient. Now with Granola, not only do I get the Zoom AI notes, but but I'm able to get my notes taken by Granola too, and then do more with them,
What do you dislike about the product?
The update process could be handled better. Nothing is worse than being ready to join a call, and the "auto update" happens. Of course that makes you late for the call
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Beyond the expected of eliminating travel, the big benefit is the quality of the interaction. Zoom looks and sounds better than WebEX or GoToMeeting, so the level of interaction and engagement between participants on calls is much higher. That leads to greater comprehension and involvement. It also has more features than Meet, so its got that going for it as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We used WebEx and Go To Meeting for years, before discovering Zoom. Within a month we cancelled those subscriptions and were all Zoom all the time.

Best Web meeting tool for Low bandwidth!

  • January 20, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is one of best conference meeting software available in the industry. Zoom is still new for a lot of people but it has adapted the features which is needed to make a meeting best. One of best feature of Zoom is, it works great with Low internet bandwidth as well. I have not seen any issue even with low bandwidth. Zoom has great sound quality and a better video chat feature. Zoom gives ability for attendees to share their screen. With Zoom an Attendee can become organizer if the real organizer lose the Internet connection. It has lot of good features which makes Zoom outstanding product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be improvements mainly on the UI side. Sometimes its not very easy to find how to Mute others and the option for group Chat. The features exists but UI can be improved. Also If Zoom can add features to dial out phone numbers, that would be great help!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to connect with Clients and colleagues using Web conference system. Zoom has provided all the features which are needed to make this job work. It is becoming better with the new upgraded features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Well, I would recommend Zoom for sure. It is really low cost solution and does everything you need for a web conference call. Go Ahead and setup your account and enjoy the free version. Once you get good quality, you can upgrade to paid version.
