Central Hub for Collaboration, But Can Feel Cluttered in Large Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
As an occasional user, I am can say that Zoom Workplace brings together video meetings, chat, screen-sharing/annotation, and integrations with calendars and productivity tools into a convenient, relatively seamless platform. It offers clean design, high-quality audio and video connections, and ease of onboarding for remote and hybrid teams. Because it supports breakout rooms, recording, virtual backgrounds and integrates well with things like Google Calendar and Slack, many teams feel it’s become a central hub for collaboration rather than just a meeting tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom Workplace has a few pain points. It can be resource-intensive especially during large meetings or when screen sharing high-definition video. Additionally, joining or re-joining meetings could be a struggle and some settings are hard to locate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I talk often to clients from different backgrounds and I usually try to accommodate their request and hold online meetings at the platforms of their preference.
Effortless Meetings with Exceptional Quality
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Zoom Workplace for meetings due to its ease of use and efficiency. The platform’s setup process is straightforward, with basic steps that make getting started simple. I find that creating meetings is particularly hassle-free, reducing the typical stress associated with using new software, especially beneficial for newcomers in any workplace. Furthermore, Zoom Workplace provides excellent meeting quality which enhances my online meeting experiences greatly. It stands out for its simplicity compared to other platforms I've used, like Microsoft Teams, where the process is more cumbersome since you need to use an email to create a meeting, whereas with Zoom Workplace, it's much more direct and user-friendly. This user-friendliness is a major reason behind my willingness to continue using it and even recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
The colour of the logo, but its looking ok
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Zoom Workplace fast and easy for meetings, with good quality and simple setup, reducing stress for new employees.
Reliable, Simple, and Great Video Quality for Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom Workplace works really well for most of my needs. Its mostly used during Townhall sessions or during specific Trainings. Scheduling and joining calls is super simple, and the interface doesn’t feel cluttered at all. The video quality is usually great too, even when my Wi-Fi bandwidth is low. I also like that it works well with calendars. Honestly, it just feels reliable most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Zoom Workplace is that sometimes the chat gets really messy in big meetings. It’s hard to keep track of multiple conversations at once. Also, breakout rooms feel a bit complicated to manage – like, too many clicks when you’re already hosting. Another thing is the notifications; I’ve missed a couple because they didn’t pop up properly. It’s not a deal breaker, but these small things can be annoying when you’re in a rush.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me deal with remote work challenges. Before it was hard to manage meetings and keep everyone aligned, but now everything is in one place – video calls, chat, scheduling and especically the Townhall where multiple employees join the call. Also its very helpful during the training session, as It saves time because I don’t have to jump between different apps. Also, the video quality is good most of the time, so working with teams in other locations feels easier. Overall, it makes collaboration smoother and less stressful.
Crystal-Clear Calls and Smart Features Make Meetings Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I value the call stability, clear audio with noise suppression, and cloud recording with automatic transcripts/translation and AI Companion summaries/action items. Participant management and screen share/remote control are simple, and Breakout Rooms, Whiteboard, and Polls are great for workshops. Calendar integrations with Google/Outlook make scheduling effortless, and chat/apps extend workflows for the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s resource-heavy on lower-end devices with faster battery drain. Licensing/add-ons (Webinar/Events) and pricing can be complex, and cloud storage quotas are limited on some plans. Chat/tasks are less mature than specialized tools, admin settings are sprawling, and weak networks can still cause occasional glitches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace solves fragmented communication and meetings across multiple channels. It centralizes meetings, chat, files, and whiteboards in one hub. Cloud recordings + transcripts and AI Companion summaries turn meetings into dated action items. Google/Outlook integrations simplify scheduling, while Breakout Rooms and Whiteboard make workshops/training easy. Result: faster decisions, tighter follow-ups, and less time/cost spent on coordination and travel.
All-in-One Workspace Convenience
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom workplace feels like zoom grew up from being just a meeting link to an actual workspace. I love that chats, meetings, whiteboards and shared docs lives in one flow. No jumping from slack to drive to zoom anymore. switching from a chat into an instant call or whiteboard session takes seconds, and the interface still stays clean and familiar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of newer modules like docs and whiteboard aren't as advanced as the standalone tools we are used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, our team conversation conversations happened between 4-5 tools. Now brainstorming, follow ups and decisions actually stay in the same place they started. Less link hunting, more time actually doing the work, it's made remote collaboration feel less juggling, more like continuity
User-Friendly and Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
This is a user-friendly application that is widely recognized by many businesses. I have consistently used Zoom Workplace for most of my meetings, whether at my previous company with the premium version or now with the free version. The app offers several features, and one of my favorites is the ability to display almost everyone on the screen at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
I suspect this might be related to the permissions assigned to each user, but I’ve noticed that some gestures aren’t available. It’s not a major issue, though—it’s actually kind of charming. I haven’t needed to reach out to their support team, since, to be honest, I’ve never encountered any problems with Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool addresses the challenge of not needing to be physically present with your colleague or client—just click the link and, instantly, everyone can meet virtually. It helps save money on transportation and also saves the time you would otherwise spend preparing for an in-person meeting. As a result, you can get right back to your other work tasks immediately after the meeting.
