Daily team collaboration has become smoother and supports reliable long client meetings
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Zoom Workplace Business is mostly the meetings, daily stand-ups, client calls, and discussion sessions for our company. It is primarily for business purposes.
I can give you a specific example of how I used Zoom Workplace Business in my daily workflow. We had Zoom Workplace Business as our online communication channel, and we used it to have our meeting schedule and daily calls. We also had client meetings on Zoom. Most of the time, we were using Zoom, and we have our calendar synced with Zoom so that any meeting or appointment that has been created gets directly synced up to Zoom. This allows us to attend it directly from our calendar or Zoom account or vice versa.
Our daily stand-ups are scheduled on a recurring basis, and we often join the same Zoom call. That is how it basically works for me.
What is most valuable?
One of the best features Zoom Workplace Business offers is that we have unlimited time for our meeting schedule with no time limitation. Additionally, we can have a workspace and many other features that I haven't explored yet, including shared documents. Zoom Workplace Business has numerous features to provide a team with valuable tools.
Regarding how Zoom Workplace Business has impacted my organization positively, we also had other communication channels such as Teams and Slack, but the video call experience in Zoom was really good and helpful. We also have a recording functionality which is truly helpful. While we have that on other platforms, Zoom makes it similarly easy to implement as that of other communication channels. Since Zoom has a really good streaming quality and works on low latency as well, we prefer to use Zoom over other communication channels for video calling and conferences, although we have other communication channels for text messages.
What needs improvement?
Zoom Workplace Business can be improved in several ways. There are many features that Zoom has provided that I haven't explored yet, but one thing I would appreciate is a messaging channel or portal or file-sharing system. Although it has documentation, I would expect another file-sharing platform where you can store documents. This would help make it a more complete communication channel. Creating different teams or channels for specific people, rather than including the entire organization, would be really helpful. The ability to create a group of channels or communication with specific individuals would be beneficial.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Zoom Workplace Business for quite a while now, almost about three to four years. I have been using Zoom on and off depending on the client that I'm working with, but most of the time I'm using Zoom.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Zoom Workplace Business is stable in my experience. I haven't had any experience with outages or major issues. We really had a good, smooth service from Zoom for meetings as well as for communication.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Regarding Zoom Workplace Business's scalability, I think there is some limitation on the number of users. I remember some times when we had company-level town hall meetings, and not every user was able to connect to the Zoom meetings. I'm not sure if it was the bandwidth or the user limit, but there were a couple of times where multiple users had to share a single call instead of joining individually for some conferences or meetings.
How are customer service and support?
I haven't had any experience with customer support for Zoom Workplace Business because I haven't had any major issues that required me to connect to customer support.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I did previously use different solutions before Zoom Workplace Business. I have used Microsoft Teams and Slack. The preference of using the communication channel depended upon the client that we were working for. If the client had Teams as their communication channel, we used to use Teams, and the same applies for Slack and Zoom. The decision of which communication channel to use was not on our end; it was on the client's end. We always referred to the client for what they were using and what they felt comfortable connecting to.
Before choosing Zoom Workplace Business, I didn't evaluate other options much because it was not in my hands at any time.
What was our ROI?
I have seen a return on investment with Zoom Workplace Business, especially in terms of smooth meetings. I can say that we had smooth meetings during Zoom calls. However, for time saved and the other metrics, I'm not quite sure because we could have instant messaging and instant connection on any channel of communication that we have, such as Teams or Slack. But for the smooth connection and smooth meeting sessions, I would really say we had smoother meetings.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with the pricing, setup cost, and licensing for Zoom Workplace Business is that the licensing, pricing, and setup cost were taken care of by the infrastructure team, so I really haven't had a chance to explore those aspects and we didn't have visibility to those either.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to others looking into using Zoom Workplace Business is that they should give it a try. It's a really good communication platform for conference calls, meetings, daily meetings, client calls, and any sort of communication, audio call, or video call. I would rate this product an 8 out of 10.
All-in-One, Reliable Collaboration with Zoom Workplace
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Zoom Workplace is that it puts meetings, chats, calls, and teamwork tools all in one place. The video and sound quality usually work well even when the internet is slow, which is very helpful for remote or work-from-home setups. Features like screen sharing, recording meetings, breakout rooms, and easy calendar links make working together simple and save time. The app is easy to use, so even people who are not very tech-savvy can start using it quickly. Overall, it makes communication easier, reduces the need for many different apps, and helps teams work better together.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Zoom Workplace is that some useful features are only available in the paid plans, which can be expensive for small teams or individual users. The desktop app can sometimes run slowly, especially on older computers. Notifications from meetings, chats, and emails can also feel like too much at times. Long meetings can be tiring, and there are limited options to customize how the app looks or works compared to some other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace solves the problem of scattered communication by putting meetings, chats, and calls in one place. It makes it easy to connect with people from anywhere without worrying about complicated setups. The video and audio work well even when the internet is not very strong, which helps avoid disruptions. Scheduling and joining meetings is simple, and screen sharing makes explanations easier. Because of this, work becomes smoother, less time is wasted, and staying connected with the team feels effortless.

Quick, Clean Calls with AI Meeting Summaries That Keep Work Moving
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how easy it is to jump into a call and just get work done. For client meetings, it feels quick and clean: join links work, audio and video are steady most of the time, screen sharing is crisp, and I’m not hunting around for hidden buttons. Setting it up on a new machine is painless too—I sign in and I’m good to go, so I don’t lose an afternoon fiddling with settings. Day to day, it’s simply convenient. I can move through back-to-back calls and it keeps up without drama, which really matters when clients are waiting.
The feature set covers what I need without feeling bloated. Recordings, transcripts, chat, reactions, a waiting room, a basic whiteboard, and polls when we need them—it’s all there, and it behaves the way I expect. The AI summarize feature is honestly a win for me: the meeting ends and I can pull a clean MOM to share, assign owners, and move on to the next task. I also like that the recap sits with the recording, so anyone who missed the call can catch up quickly without me having to write a long email. The support docs and help articles are decent as well; when I get stuck, there’s usually an answer that gets me unstuck fast.
Integrations have gotten better, too. The latest update that pulls in my official Google Calendar meetings is a plus—now everything just shows up, and joining is one click from the calendar view. Scheduling is straightforward, recurring invites behave, and links don’t break when we tweak details. It also plays nicely with email and files: sharing a cloud recording or a transcript link is simple, and the permissions make sense so clients can access what they need without jumping through a dozen hoops. I’m in it most workdays for client calls, standups, and quick syncs, and it keeps the flow calm.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only real dislike is the mic noise cancellation. It’s not quite on par with a few other tools I’ve used that have stronger voice isolation, so loud fans or keyboard clacks can still leak through at times, and I end up muting more than I’d like. It’s not a dealbreaker—just a bit of friction I notice on busier days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace takes a lot of the coordination headache out of client meetings. I can send invites, have calendars pick them up automatically, and joining is basically one click. Everyone gets into the room without fuss, even when they’re outside our org. Screen sharing, recordings, and transcripts help ensure decisions and demos are captured, and the AI summary cuts down the time I spend turning a call into a clean MOM with owners and next steps. That alone saves me a bunch of small minutes every week.
It also improves follow-ups and visibility. Cloud recordings and summaries are easy to share in the same thread where we’re already working, so handing off to a teammate is smooth and we don’t lose context. The tool stays stable even across long sessions, breakout rooms are useful when we need to split up a client workshop, and the straightforward scheduling helps keep a predictable rhythm. The net result is less time wrestling with logistics, faster decisions after a call, and a calmer workflow because the pieces fit together without me having to glue them by hand.
Seamless All-in-One Collaboration with Stable Meetings and Smart AI Summaries
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Zoom Workplace is how seamlessly it brings communication, collaboration, and scheduling into one platform. The interface is intuitive, meetings are stable even with low bandwidth, and features like screen sharing, chat, calendar integration, and AI meeting summaries make daily collaboration efficient and smooth across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Zoom Workplace is powerful, some advanced features can feel overwhelming at first and require time to fully understand. Certain AI and admin features are locked behind higher-tier plans, and occasional updates change layouts or settings, which can briefly impact workflow until users adjust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace solves the challenge of fragmented communication by combining meetings, chat, scheduling, and collaboration tools in a single ecosystem. This reduces tool switching, improves meeting efficiency with AI summaries and recordings, and helps teams stay aligned, productive, and connected regardless of location.
