Reliable for daily QA standups and remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
’ve been using Zoom for over a year in my role as a Game QA Tester at Aristocrat. It’s part of our daily routine for sprint standups, bug-review meetings, and cross-team syncs with developers and producers working remotely.
The features I depend on most are screen sharing with remote control (great for reproducing and demonstrating issues), breakout rooms for smaller QA discussions, and meeting recordings for later reference. Calendar integration makes scheduling easy, and the chat during calls helps us share quick links or screenshots without switching tools.
A few times I’ve had minor audio drops on large calls, but Zoom support responded quickly with clear troubleshooting steps. Overall, Zoom keeps our distributed QA and automation teams connected and makes collaboration at Aristocrat much smoother.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace has made collaboration and communication much easier for our QA and development teams, especially in a hybrid work setup. It solves the problem of team coordination by providing reliable video meetings, chat, and file sharing—all in one place. The Ease of Use is excellent; even during busy testing or review sessions, it’s simple to set up quick calls and share screens instantly.

What do you like best about the product?
The search functionality is powerful, i am able to search across chat messages, meeting transcripts, and whiteboards at the same time. The connection is stable, the audio/video quality is crisp, and features like virtual backgrounds and polling are seamless. The integration of scheduling directly within the app improve workflow and reduced technical issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am also using the mobile version app but the mobile app experience feels bit less intuitive for the "Workplace" features compared to the desktop. sometime while sharing screen it lags but not that big issue for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem it solves is information fragmentation. Before, discussions and decisions were scattered across email, a separate chat app, and meeting notes. Now, everything is logged and searchable in this app I really like how seamlessly it integrates chat, meetings, whiteboards, and even document sharing in one place. It can manage back to back meetings without switching between apps. There are lots of templates which u can use it on whiteboard while creating something.

While Zoom Workplace is reliable, its interface can feel cluttered, especially with newer features layered in. Switching between chat, meetings, and whiteboards isn’t always seamless. Occasional audio or connectivity glitches still happen, and managing larger meetings can require more manual effort than expected. It’s powerful, but not perfectly streamlined.

What do you like best about the product?
Best things about Zoom workplace is the features such as closed captions and AI summaries, professional backgrounds, audio-visual setup, good lighting, and being able to turn on and off the microphone and camera.
What do you dislike about the product?
inconsistent audio and video quality in which can disrupt the meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have no idea. Probably the quality of the connection to minimize disruption.
Great tool for remoting in with Customers
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability for my team to remote in with customers, especially if there is an escalation. Our end users are not the most tech savvy so being able to help control their screen makes the process easier. Super easy to implement and we use it on every external meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as easy to switch over meetings if the original host can't make it. It creates unnecessary hurdles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to remote in with the customer and take over their screen. We also use google meet and do not have that functionality with them. We also use zoom to annotate for trainings.
Great for remote work
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to video conference with one or more people in a professional atmosphere.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's rather large capacity takes up too much of my storage.

Zooming ahead! Why Zoom workplace is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
With everything in one place, Zoom offers unified collaboration with an easy to use interface and easy scheduling. We utilized this product to help bridge gaps in communication while we were in a covid shutdown. This helped us to continue team meetings without having to meet in person which kept staff safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Zoom does raise some privacy concerns, this is true for all products of this type. The level of concern often depends on the organization using the product and the specific ways in which it is implemented. We were an agency that needed to remain HIPAA compliant due to state and federal funding. It took a bit of training to get staff to understand what they needed to do to remain under HIPAA compliance.

Especially during the coronavirus period, this tool enabled our team to continue collaborating effectively and helped us keep the business running.
