Easy to use, Great for team collaboration and webinar hosting
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom Workplace makes virtual collaboration seamless. The video and audio quality are consistently excellent, and I love how easy it is to schedule and join meetings directly from my calendar. I also appreciate the integrations with Slack, which make workflow much smoother.
In addition, Zoom Workplace’s webinar feature is excellent. It’s easy to host large-scale events, manage participants, and share content. The Q&A and polling tools make engagement simple and effective!

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the app can use a lot of system resources, which can slow down my computer during webinar hosting. The chat and messaging functionality could be more robust. It feels less intuitive compared to dedicated messaging apps. Additionally, file sharing in chat is limited compared to other collaboration platforms.
When hosting webinars, the transition between practice mode and live sessions can be confusing, especially for new hosts, which may lead to mistakes when the webinar goes live. I also found that the practice session doesn’t fully simulate a real webinar environment, making it hard to test how features like Q&A, polls, or breakout rooms will behave with many participants.

Other complaints include potential system resource hogging on older devices, some advanced features being restricted to paid plans, and the platform becoming "heavy" and less focused than its original purpose. Additionally, some users find the expanded suite of tools, like the calendar and AI companion, to be unnecessary bloat, preferring a simpler, single-purpose application for their needs.

It's a single platform solution which helps to collaborate in various spheres of the business, the primary being the video conference call, calendar updates, screen share features to name a few.

Sometimes updates just happen before a call which make me join the call late. The update experience needs to better.

Zoom offers only 40 minutes of free time, and its paid per license. The cost per license sometimes may seem higher for individuals.

The platform provides strong business communication features, which makes it effective for meetings, video recording, screen sharing, screen recording, and even controlling another screen to perform various operations. I also appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with tools like MuleSoft, as this helps streamline my workflow.

Sometimes, logging into the platform for business meetings can be tedious and slow, with the process often requiring me to reroute and attempt the login multiple times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for screen sharing, screen recording, and even controlling another screen to perform various operations. Sometimes, when interacting with developers, I need to demonstrate certain logic, and having screen control helps me perform the activity directly on their screen.

I remember during Covid 19 year we started using Zoom and still now using it without any problems.

A bit expensive and it’s okay for the offices.

I also like how simple it is for students to join a session—just a link, no complications.

Breakout rooms, while great for group discussions, can occasionally lag or disconnect participants if their internet isn’t stable. It would also help if the interface made advanced teaching tools a little more visible and easier to access.

It solves the challenge of keeping classes interactive through features like screen sharing for lectures and breakout rooms for group work. It also helps with accessibility—recordings let students review lessons at their own pace, and chat functions allow quieter students to participate more comfortably. Zoom has become a staple in our workday. I have a team that spreads across North America and the UK.
Zoom is easy to use, and the features they keep adding make calls more useful and more fun (whiteboard, avatars, etc)
We also use Zoom Webinars to host training events for our Customer Success teams. It makes it so easy to share information in a cohesive way. Speakers always find presenting simple, and sharing the recording softwares is a breeze.

Zoom tends to force updates right when we are about to join a meeting. This has made me late for important calls in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very dispersed team so Zoom is crucial to our success. We manage to have a super collaborative and positive team environment even without being together.
We also need to share Product information to our Customer Success and Sales teams when we have updates. With Zoom, we can easily make sure everyone is aware of the changes.

The system does not recognize the client's phone number, so it is unable to transcribe the client's responses on the loan profile.
