What do you like best about the product?
Zoom offers a free version that is accessible to everyone, which is why it is commonly used across various government departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience, Zoom is not very user-friendly, and the free version also has a limit on the number of participants.

Easy to connect with anyone and affordable and access in low network area also

The performance of zoom is like most such as the quality of video and audio is great also the user interface is easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The chat management and the file management feature is basic as compared to other.

It works fine across different device which makes it reliable for me to use.

It does what is required, clear video and conferencing.

Seems to constantly update, not as intuitive as more economical tools such as Google Hangouts. The mobile app can be improved as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to communicate broadly both internally and with 3rd party vendors as it is a widely used tool. It assists with both collaboration and productivity among big groups, but also 1 on 1 meetings too.

The type of video quality during meetings and also the background changing feature is best.

Noise cancellation feature should be there.

Sometimes noise comes from background of other person so it can be improved.
Okay for day to day use but not for as a orginazitional use

For day to day scrum meeting or webinar we use Zoom. But when it comes to use at scale for a consultation multiple calls at the same time then zoom is not able to handle that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to handle calls at scale. We switched from zoom to Agora
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not working at scale with the Angular tech stack in 2024 then we jumped on Agora.

It's very convenient for setting up meetings, even with people I don't know, since there's an option to turn the video off.

The limit of 40 mins unless you have the paid version

Easy to take online classes, tutorials. Screen share helps me share the study material

It’s very easy to use; joining or hosting a meeting takes only a few clicks, even for non-techy people.
Great cross-platform support - works on Windows, Mac, mobile, web etc.

Free plan has limitations (e.g. 40-minute limit on group meetings) which can interrupt longer discussions.
Video/audio quality and connection stability can suffer (lags, glitches), especially on weak internet.
Cost can add up for larger audiences or for advanced features/webinars.

Zoom solves the problem of geographical distance by making remote meetings easy and reliable. It lets me connect with colleagues, clients, or teachers without needing everyone in the same room. The ability to record meetings, share screens, and use features like breakout rooms makes communication more effective and saves time—no need for physical travel, scheduling conflicts are fewer, and I can cover more ground virtually.

bad video and audio quality makes the calls a bit hard

Coordinating calls with clients who are not part of the usual workspace can sometimes be challenging. It often requires extra effort to find a suitable time and platform that works for everyone involved. I find that clear communication and flexibility are essential when setting up these meetings outside the regular environment.

Performance of the application can be improved over slower network.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a remote first company, we mostly use zoom to collaborate with other teams and individuals. Also we use Zoom to demo the work done to different stakeholders. AI meeting assistant summarizes the meeting discussion really well, which can be referred later, which eliminates the need to watch complete meeting video.
