What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and low barrier to entry has always made it my preferred choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I wish there was just some more customization when it comes to filters but a green screen fixes that mostly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to meet someone face to face but be miles away from them.

Zoom Workplace Review

  • September 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom Workplace combines meetings, chat, phone, whiteboard, calendar, and even email into a single platform. This means teams don’t have to juggle multiple tools to stay connected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Zoom Workplace tries to do many things (meetings, chat, whiteboard, phone, calendar, etc.), the admin side can be cumbersome. Some features are buried deeply, menus or tabs proliferate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace helps remote and hybrid teams stay fully connected and engaged—features like Smart Gallery, Zoom Rooms, and immersive virtual collaboration make sure everyone feels equally seen and heard, no matter where they’re working from.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom Workplace is more than just a video conferencing tool—it’s a full-fledged AI-powered collaboration platform designed to streamline how teams communicate, plan, and execute work.

AI Companion for Productivity

- Automatically generates meeting summaries, action items, and email drafts.
- Helps draft documents, respond to chats, and prep for meetings.
- Saves time on repetitive tasks so teams can focus on strategic work.

Improved Customer Interactions

- Zoom Phone tracks billable hours directly within the app.
- AI tools assist during client meetings—no more “I’ll get back to you” delays.

Scalable for Any Team Size

- Works for small businesses and large enterprises alike.
- Flexible pricing and features that grow with your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Support Frustrations

- Many users report poor customer service, especially when dealing with billing issues or technical glitches.
- Automated responses often delay resolution, which can be frustrating for time-sensitive problems.

Security Concerns

- Zoom has faced criticism for past vulnerabilities like “Zoom bombing” and weak encryption protocols.
- Although improvements have been made, some organizations still hesitate to trust it for sensitive communications.

Free Plan Restrictions

- Group meetings on the free plan are capped at 40 minutes, which can be limiting for longer discussions or workshops.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Fragmented Communication

- Problem: Teams juggle multiple apps—email, chat, calendar, docs, meetings—leading to lost context and slower decisions.
- Solution: Zoom Workplace unifies these into one platform, reducing tool-switching and keeping conversations, files, and schedules in sync.

2. Meeting Overload & Follow-Up Chaos
- Problem: Endless meetings with unclear outcomes and forgotten action items.
- Solution: AI Companion auto-generates meeting summaries, action items, and follow-up emails—so you spend less time recapping and more time executing.

3. Manual Documentation & Workflow Bottlenecks
- Problem: Writing reports, drafting emails, and updating docs eats into your deep work time.
- Solution: AI tools assist with drafting, editing, and summarizing content across chat, email, and docs—speeding up client communication and internal updates.

4. Remote Collaboration Fatigue
- Problem: Virtual work can feel disconnected and exhausting.
- Solution: Features like whiteboarding, breakout rooms, and async video messages help teams stay engaged without burning out.

Review for zoom workplace

  • September 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Ease of Use / Intuitive Interface

Many users say it’s very simple to set up and join meetings.
Good for non-technical users; minimal learning curve.
2.Strong Core Communication & Collaboration Features
Good video/audio quality under decent conditions.
Helpful screen sharing, breakout rooms, whiteboarding.
Meeting scheduling + calendar integrations (Google, Outlook etc.) work well.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Dependence on Good Internet / Connectivity Issues
When internet is weak, audio/video lags, connection drops, quality degrades.
Larger meetings are more problematic for many.
2. Feature Overload / Complexity for New Users
So many features that some are buried; learning all capabilities takes time.
Permission settings, webinar setups, admin controls are sometimes hard to find or manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Scattered Communication Tools

Before: Teams had to use separate apps for chat, meetings, calls, and file sharing.

Zoom solves this by bringing everything (meetings, chat, whiteboards, phone, calendar, AI notes) into one place.

2. Remote / Hybrid Collaboration Gaps

Before: Difficulties keeping remote teams connected and engaged.

Zoom provides stable video calls, breakout rooms, and interactive whiteboards that replicate in-person teamwork.

3. Missed Information in Meetings

Before: People missed meetings or forgot key points; note-taking distracted participants.

Zoom’s AI companion + meeting recordings and transcripts ensure everyone stays updated, even if absent.
