Still my preferred and one of the best video conferencing platforms
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface. The software is easy to use and rarely have I encountered any technical issues that couldn't be resolved with either a restart of my computer or some little research of the problem. Additionally, I like the new features, many of which are easily implemented within the Desktop Client. I use Zoom not only for business purposes but for personal enjoyment as well (i.e., my podcast, communicating with family and friends).
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it's not a negative feature, Zoom might be a bit pricey compared to other services. When I initially started using Zoom, I noticed that the audio quality could be poor, but I wasn't sure if it was the software or Microsoft. Since then, I've purchased a nicer microphone that I use along with my DSLR; since implementing these changes, my video conferencing looks and sounds great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a remote worker, Zoom provides an easy-to-use video-conferencing application that new users can download and within minutes, coordinate with others. It is my preferred method of communicating with a large group of people. It's become the swiss blade for meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many ways to use Zoom. I can use it to connect with a large group or just 2 people. I can even use it to go live on Facebook. I can share hosting with someone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only the host can record. In many instances, even if the host gives permission, I can't record the session. I don't seem to always save backgrounds I want to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to connect with others, either in a big meeting or just one on one. It's fast and easy to use. Breakout rooms are a great feature. I also love the chat for questions or side conversations.
Zoom has allowed me to connect closely to my customers and give them all the support they need.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can share my screen and guide my customer through our product as and when needed. I can also schedule my zoom call in zoom itself. I am reminded of when my meetings are without putting in my diary. A simple notification let me know to be ready for my zoom call. It is very simple to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to the recordings, sometime it does not save which means I lose all the content and I can not retrieve this. There should be some other way of saving the recording
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has bridged the gap on communicating with our customers. We no longer need to do on-site visits that require more than 1 hour drive.

What do you dislike about the product?
If I have Slack open, my screen will often blink on and off. If I quit Slack, that usually improves the situation. However, I sometimes have to close down other tabs/windows.

Appsembler has always been a distributed/remote team. Zoom helps us build and maintain a great workplace culture, in addition to all the typical internal and external meetings we have.
The best overall integrated platform
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom's live chat software provides valuable features, including HD video and audio calling, cross-platform chat, end-to-end encryption, mobile apps, and more. Zoom has advantages, but your company might need more tailored features, affordable tiers, or specific security measures.
The good news is that a variety of Zoom alternatives are available to you now that remote work is becoming more common and video meetings are the "new normal."

What do you dislike about the product?
The authentication is poor if a zoom agreement is not required to enroll in the class. Anyone who has the link can enroll in the course in this manner. The webcam sets require significant internet data usage during the session. Before even the session, the founder cannot be added; however, after the user joins, they must become the founder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This device has aided in maintaining social connections, long-distance communication, attending class, and interacting with some of those providers for employment.
Zoom has been my go to teaching platform for the last few years

Streaming into my Facebook group is clunky at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to teach all around the world has greatly benefited my students. They get different cultural inputs.
Best video conferencing platform - hands down!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is what kept our company and clients together during (and still after) the COVID-19 pandemic. It's so simple to connect and the video and audio quality are excellent. Zoom is wonderful for meetings that need to be scheduled and advance AND for impromptu meetings that pop up during the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that the 40 min limit on the free account is a downside. But honestly, it's free, and 40 min is very generous.
I use multiple accounts for different clients, and it would be nice to have an easier way to switch between accounts. Like a dropdown option where I select the appropriate Zoom account for the particular client.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving the connection problem all of us have been facing over the past two years. Our company was able to continue providing our services - and we have even expanded our offerings, thanks to Zoom.
Definitely works (IMO) better than Teams

I've been using it since before the pandemic and it seems to have been keeping up well with people's needs and expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get kicked off and I'm not sure the that event creation is always straight forward in the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual events are great and they're not stopping. I think they'll be around for a while. What's great is having a platform to incorporate a staff training ppt but then also a celebratory/collaborative portion afterward.
Good tool, but could be more reliable
What do you like best about the product?
It's very convienient, and was a life-saver during the Covid lockdown, as we were doibng 100% live appointments for our financial services business before. We learned that with the right link, a user could enter our meetings without downloading the Zoom app. This let us connect even with people that had almost no technical computer knoweldge. This was a great option. We ran all of our semi-weekly trainings from Zoom for almost 2 years,
What do you dislike about the product?
It was not always reliable. It seems like around one out of 10 or 20 meetings, I would either get booted off for no reason, or it would take an extrordinarily long time to log into the meeting, only to get booted off instead of being let into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped solve the problem of meeting with people during the lockdowns, and let us meet with people that either were immune compromised, and/or were not comfortable having a live face-to-face meeting. It also helped us not have to burn so much gas driving all over northeast Ohio on live appointments.
Reliable Video Conferencing Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Its meetings are highly functional, easy setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like all of the features of Zoom. Just keep on with a good work.

During Covid, Zoom helped my organization and employees to stay connected and to bring the lectures and the programs to people's homes. We have continued using Zoom, providing Hybrid classes and programs.
