Easy to Use with Handy Recording, But Needs Browser Integration
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, and it has the added benefit of optional recording for web calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is that you need a separate app, rather than it integrating directly into a web browser.

It allows us to do web calls with people outside of our company and record the calls.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Zoom Workplace brings everything together in one place, integrating meetings, chats, files, and schedules into a single workflow, which saves time and reduces confusion. The AI Companion is another strong point, helping with summaries, notes, and follow-ups, making meetings and lectures more productive without extra effort. I also appreciate its ease of use and reliability, allowing me to jump into meetings, collaborate quickly, and stay focused without technical distractions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Zoom Workplace is very useful, a few areas could be improved. Some features, especially the newer integrated tools, can feel overwhelming at first and take time to learn. The AI Companion, although helpful, may not always capture context perfectly and sometimes needs manual review. Collaboration tools like document editing are still more basic compared to dedicated platforms. Additionally, performance can occasionally depend on internet quality, which affects meetings. Improving customization, simplifying the interface for new users, and enhancing offline or low-bandwidth functionality would make Zoom Workplace even more effective.

Zoom Workplace centralizes communication, collaboration, and organization, making it easier to coordinate projects and access materials. It supports virtual classes with reliable video conferencing and features like screen sharing and recordings, enhancing our study efficiency and flexibility.

The platform offers a range of features including video conferencing, webinars, an AI companion, chat functionality, file transfer, and the ability to raise hands. These tools contribute to a comprehensive and interactive user experience.

There isn't much to complain about, but I do feel that the user interface could be more intuitive and improved overall.

I use this tool for managing multiple online meetings, scheduling webinars, and conducting virtual onboarding sessions. It also helps with business reviews, providing remote client assistance, screen sharing, and offering support. Additionally, I rely on it for sales negotiations and customer success engagements.
User-Friendly Platform with Effortless Recording and Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very user-friendly, making it simple to request permissions to join. Recording is straightforward, and sharing control is also easy. Additionally, it does not lag. I can use it over laptop and phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the label that appears at the top of the screen gets in the way when I try to click on the tabs. I often have to move it out of the way, which can be a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was very helpful for remote work during the pandemic, as it ensured that our work continued smoothly and allowed all team members to join and collaborate easily.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the background feature in Zoom Workplace where you can be anywhere and put a background behind you, making it look more professional and hiding your real environment. This is really helpful, especially when there's a lot going on in the background. It just adds a layer of professionalism. The initial setup was pretty easy too, as long as you have the ID you need for the meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the fact that they're charging you now for Zoom is kinda crazy. I thought that it was a really good product, you know, but I understand business is business. So I like to say that I don't really care for that part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace makes it easy to communicate clearly across teams, which was especially important when it was free. It's a valuable tool for ensuring professional communication without revealing my real environment.
Great for Virtual Conferences and Classrooms
What do you like best about the product?
I like that this can be sent out on the calendar invite and that you can use it for breakout rooms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think other online conferencing apps offer more options and backgrounds. Zoom is a little behind on that aspect but still works!

This allows us to be able to do business meetings when everyone is not in the same location. I also use this as a test administration platform for online testing where the test taker has to be monitored remotely.

What do you like best about the product?
I use both Google meet and Zoom, but personally, for me Zoo feels familiar and straightforward, I don’t have to spend time figuring things out. The video and audio quality are usually very reliable, and features like screen sharing, chat, and scheduling meetings are well integrated. It makes collaboration smooth, whether you’re in quick check-ins or longer meetings with a team
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t like is that sometimes people forget to add the Zoom link when scheduling a meeting if they don’t select it as a Zoom meeting. This often leads to confusion and delays. If someone is setting up a meeting in Zoom, the meeting link should really be included by default so everyone can join easily without extra follow-ups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace is solving several key issues, mainly around remote collaboration. The main problem it addresses is the challenge of connecting teams in different locations. Whether it's for quick team check-ins, client calls, or long brainstorming sessions, Zoom makes it possible to meet face-to-face (virtually) with ease. It also tackles scheduling issues with calendar integrations, and its screen sharing and collaboration tools make it simple to work on documents together in real-time.
