Good experience with Zoom

What do you like best about the product?
I can send an invite from my calendar to others and the information auto-populates into the invite. The quality of the picture is better than other platforms in my opinion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had the type of polls that I had with a previous platform (Adobe). I use to be able to create my own polls and make it so that people could write in their own answers, we could True or False, etc. I use Zoom a lot for meetings and training; with the other platform, I had a timer that I could use, and other fun functions that helped to keep my audiences alert and interactive. The biggest issue for me is not having the same tools to help me keep my audiences engaged with the fun things we can easily do in a web meeting. If Zoom does get any of these options, they need to make it easy to get to right from the meeting, the same ribbon that the microphone and camera options would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't believe they are solving any problems for me at this time.

Great for Video Meetings

What do you like best about the product?
The connection is good most of the time. The mute button, as well as camera selection button, are easy to locate. And using the space bar to quickly unmute yourself is a nice feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
In times of slow internet speeds or if I'm on my phone and need to conserve data, I wish there was an option to turn off the incoming video and only hear the voices of the others in the meeting with me. I also wish that the chat from the meetings was easily accessible after the call has ended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom brings colleagues together from across the country with the opportunity to see each others faces outside of in-person meetings. Face to face communications improve relationships, and that's something that was limited with colleagues from across the country before Zoom became a daily part of our work lives.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, majority of my colleagues and friends prefer zoom over other video communications programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom invitations seem to have too much information in there. Perhaps there might be a better way to organize the info in the invites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me show up even when I can't physically show up. Zoom is solving the problem of bridging physical distance as a barrier to meeting. It also offers a healthy option to meet when people are immunocompromised.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used many of the softwares availalable for video chat and Zoom is far superior.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have zero issues with zoom. We record our podcast with ease, client meetings, screen shares, etc. The only issues I have with zoom are things that would be better solved face to face and that isn't zoom's problem to fix!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a growing business with a national and international presence. Zoom allows us to seemlessly work with partners and clients without the cost of travel when it is not needed.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the recurring meeting feature of Zoom as you are able to use this link with client calls, check-ins, and connecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the ability to switch audio sources when using the Zoom app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me keep my meetings organized. My meetings can be viewed from the Meetings dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very User-friendly. The apps are very helpful, especially transcription. The video conferencing works very well. Other platforms, the video would freeze which caused meetings to run longer because we would have to repeat ourselves. They keep adding new features, such as the white board which is something I will be using more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish the free version was 45 min long. The browser and desktop require two different passwords for logging in. So now I log in to the browser which takes me to the desktop application. There have been times the video recording after a meeting did not convert over and then I lost all the content of our meeting. This has only happened 1-2 times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of our Sales Coaching and Sales Training had to switch from in-person to virtual due to the pandemic. Zoom allowed us to continue our trainings with our clients.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is an easy platform to use, not only for our organizational use but also personal. We have recommended it as the preferred platform for our volunteers to use with our clients. The price point is also very reasonable for a small organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have always found issues when trying to play videos with sound. While we have figured it out, for the most part, we usually have to remind ourselves when we use it. Also, as new features roll out, at times we feel like brand new users again until we get our footing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before the pandemic, we did not use any type of virtual conferencing platform. Zoom allowed us to move our operations and program to a virtual format which enabled us to continue to function throughout the pandemic and now allows us to have a virtual option for all aspects of our service.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Zoom is to use and how I can manage how my participants access my meetings (eg: waiting room, passcode, one click).
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still trying to figure out the best way to use apps in Zoom. I wish I could see what everyone else sees and how they are invited to the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom was a life-saver through Covid where we had to pivot our facilitation business to an online format. It has been very beneficial in that it saves us travel time and allows folks from different parts of the province/country to participate in a forum that they would have typically had to travel to.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling, being able to turn the recording on and off. Chat, screen share, are all valuable and used in almost all my meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. I do need to learn about all the features though. I am a basic user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Showing clients what they need to see in order to make decisions that lead to more business for me. Sending them recordings of meetings so they can remember what we talked about and looked at.
