Very convenient for large groups of people
What do you like best about the product?
The screen-sharing & recording feature. I have used this service to produce many virtual theatre productions over the course of the early pandemic
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom always makes my computer overheat. Its impossible to run without closing everything else and plug it in & when saving recordings, it can crash
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i noticed after a while that there were more options about sound sharing & using sound options to create recordings. This has been especially useful for screensharing videos. I also enjoy the addition of filters, background options & emojis in the chat feature
Even my grandma can use Zoom it's so easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Quick connection, no video interruptions, ability to meet with numerous people-as long as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I invite someone "after the fact" (after scheduling the meeting and sending the initial invite), those new people get a message stating that another meeting is in progress. I haven't figured that out yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting with people in a different city. Meeting at times that would otherwise not be possible. Saving me time and money not having to travel to meetings.
Zoom is a crucial tool for our fully remote team.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a high-quality and relatively secure video calling platform that is perfect for spontaneous one-on-ones and large presentations alike. We use it several times a week in every department.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options to lower the bandwidth used on calls. Turning off video usually helps for people with lower-speed internet access, but for team members in areas without high-speed WiFi, Zoom can be difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom gives us a way to connect with others on our team in a way that is higher context than a quick Slack DM or voice message. The Zoom whiteboard feature is also great for collaboration.
Zooms pretty great but I do wish it had a bit more for our needs
What do you like best about the product?
It is great for large meetings or webinars
What do you dislike about the product?
It does feel a bit rigid, out of date. Everything has a price and seems very a la carte. I wish it offered a bit more within each of its plans without having to always pay separately for an additional need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is perfect for large webinars/workshops but for all our internal meetings we lean towards google meet. For those larger meetings, though it fulfills every need we have, again at each threshold, you need to shell out more money which can be a drawback.
Great Glitch-free Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the integration with Google calendar and other platforms. Breakout rooms are easy to create and manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a separate platform. Google meetings can be used for the same purpose without adding to the tech stack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I enjoy that our team is completely remote, but we still have face-to-face interaction via Zoom meetings.
Great platform for calls and webinars
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's very easy to use. With other tools, I've struggled to figure out specific features such as breakout rooms, but with Zoom it's super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't had any technical issues with Zoom but I really like the constant updates to make sure everything runs smoothly.
A Good Neutral Meeting Service
What do you like best about the product?
While others may want a whole management system we like the way you can use Zoom to simply hold meetings. It is easy to incorporate into calendar systems and doesn't run in the background when it is not in use. The Zoom Room in combination with a Logitech Rally System is a good solution for conference rooms. The scheduling features and the display of schedules on the device controller and the conference screen is nice for managing resources in a meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing users and licenses can be a pain sometimes as it involves getting a sales rep and paperwork involved. This might be due to our original contract. I would rather see a simpler way to add or remove users regardless of the contract. I would even be willing to make a 1-year commitment to a minimum number of licenses that I can review and adjust annually like other software packages we use.
I'm not certain spending money on Zoom will be the best long-term solution given the fact that our organization uses Google Enterprise and the Google Meet product is beginning to show features that will make it a strong competitor to Zoom. Conversion from Zoom to Meet will depend upon our client's acceptance of Meet as a conferencing product. If we don't issue with connectivity and client corporate firewalls, it may become a viable alternative.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like others, our organization is becoming less localized. Zoom helps us reach out to staff and clients on a regular basis. Daily team scrums and company-wide meetings are all held using Zoom. From a client perspective, Zoom reduces the need for travel and increases productivity. No one needs to be told of the high cost and unreliability of air travel. As an organization, we don't travel unless necessary. We even use Zoom for local meetings. Zoom allows us to pop into a meeting 5 minutes prior and be back on task immediately after the meeting.
Smooth videoconferencing
What do you like best about the product?
It works seamlessly. Makes meetings possible that otherwise would not happen. Better than a phone call. Less difficult for new folks to use than competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to log in from a web browser before the meeting in order for it to recognize me as the host.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowed us to keep going though the office is closed.
How I Power My Client Sessions
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is how I pretty much conduct my coaching sessions and podcast video interviews. I love that I can integrate it into other systems to make scheduling super easy -- taking me out of the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the video quality isn't at least the standard 1080p. I also feel the platform can make addons like meetings accessible across all paid levels but limited so as to still make upgrading still attractive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom benefits me in that it makes it easy to meet with my clients or others easily via video conferencing. It does help me to be more productive when I integrate with other software. However, when it's time to do webinars I turn to other platforms.
Business Class Meetings with Simple Deployment
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy setup, deployment and training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom Room Scheduler is not as easy for some to navigate. Wish it would have an option to show all meeting rooms on main page without having to navigate to each room.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us collaborate across multiple offices and assist with client relations.
