Intuitive and Easy Conferencing
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use with many add on features as well
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be costly, especially for large scale meetings. We sometimes only need to have one large meeting a year, it isn't easy to upgrade and downgrade our account for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting people remotely, having meetings online, dial-in and computer attending options.
Best Virtual Meeting Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes it easy to collaborate with business, personal and non-profit volunteer colleagues. It can be used by those who are tech savvy or those who are not. It also integrates with social media platforms for ease of sharing. The recording option is also very helpful for those who were unable to attend the meeting or if a video is needed to upload onto social media platforms when they change their rules and procedures until staff can update on their policies and procedures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I see with Zoom is those in attendance don't get the in-person social aspect where you can eat refreshments together, shake hands, hug or give door prizes for event attendance. But, not many people are hugging or shaking hands at this time, so Zoom is the next best thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we could not get together due to the pandemic shut down, people were still not comfortable coming together and conference rooms were taken, we were still able to do buyer and seller presentations (real estate business), children's recorded bible classes, children's ministry meetings (non-profit/volunteer) and be prepared for service when the time came for live interaction.
Easy Access with Consistent Sound and Video Quality
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, excellent quality, participants have no issue connecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alternate views should be more prominently displayed as sometimes they are a little hard to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting with teams all over the world is easy and cost-effective with Zoom. Participants rarely have any connection issues, I have used several competitor applications and I feel Zoom is by far the best value with the most features.
Zoom has been a great way to work successfully
What do you like best about the product?
I like that business is able to be conducted in a face to face atmosphere but done remotely and successfully. I like that concerns about invlimsye weather, lack of transportation or concerns about health risks do not interfere with the work flow. Trainings and orientations with groups of any size are facilitated using Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
The occasional issues of networks failing or Zoom crashing are problematic but it's rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of having to travel to multiple locations or to bring people at multiple locations to one site. Everyone can access Zoom from wherever they are.
Widely used and easy to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Because it is widely used, it is easy to send meeting invites to people outside of my organization and feel confident that they have it installed and know how to navigate it.
What do you dislike about the product?
To change some settings, I have to go to the Zoom website as opposed to being able to work directly from the extension or my Zoom screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to have face-to-face meetings without the expense of traveling, or without spending the time of traveling.
2 years and still going strong
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes scheduling and hosting workshops easy for me and my attendees. The easiness is the best part. I love how zoom is integrated across a lot of platforms!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much if anything that I dislike about Zoom. Perhaps that the first level of paid membership doesn't include very much space for cloud recordings. That could be more generous.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not interested in being a social media livestreamer. I prefer Zoom as the container for offering my workshops and educational encrichments. Being able to send links ahead of time, reuse the same links, and save the videos has been helpful for me and my clients.
Great way to host online meetings, trainings, and connect with people from afar!
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, you can simply create a meeting - send a link to someone - and you have a connection! It's wonderful! On the receiving end, it's easy to log onto as well, just by clicking a link you're able to join in to a meeting or class/training. I have very rarely encountered issues with Zoom crashing or having technical issues. If I have, it's usually because of my computer, not because of the software it's self. I know I can trust Zoom to get the job done!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could use Zoom with my iPad, however, the sharing audio option isn't available on the iPad version of Zoom. So when I'm hosting a meeting to teach an online class, I have to use my windows laptop instead and no offense to windows but it just isn't the same and I'd prefer to use my iPad if I could. Why don't the same options carry over to Apple products? I should be able to share music with participants whether I'm using a phone, iPad, laptop, or desktop. What does it matter? I also want to be able to start mull-tile meetings at the same time. Right now you're only allowed to sign in on one device or start one meeting at a time. Well in the world we live in today, multi-tasking is something I do all the time for work and it's necessary to have to begin one meeting before another end. I should have the capability to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Zoom, I can reach people across the United States! I am a fitness instructor and since Covid-19 happened classes began to go Virtual. I now teach over half of my classes online via Zoom and have expanded my reach to all over the US whereas before I could only teach to those who lived nearby, now I can teach to anyone that can log in and participate! It's been a lifesaver for the fitness world to say the least.
So far so good with a stable connection to conduct a quality virtual event.
What do you like best about the product?
There's nothing in particular; I use MS Teams a lot for work and Zoom for personal business and pleasure and see Zoom equivalent in use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't noticed any downsides yet; I get what I need to be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of a problem, I see it as a convenient resource to conduct a meeting anytime from anywhere.
Convenient, mostly lag-free, useful tool for my very small business
What do you like best about the product?
I like how convenient it is. Throw a link in an email and see each other face-to-face in a moment. Seeing faces is so important in communication. And the other programs all have lag issues (Teams, Google Meet).
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a feature that allowed you to pick the person to focus on. When people leave their mics on, they can cough or make a simple noise that pulls the focus to them. There should be a way to lock on the presenter when it's a group of people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small business of one person, I have control over when and how I want to present myself. And when I'm able to send a link to another small business that doesn't pay for an account, I feel good about my subscription. I also can use it to connect with friends. During the pandemic, it was a lifesaver.
connecting via zoom
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been a great way for me and my friends to continue to connect from a distance on a weekly basis. COVID prevented us from physically being together, but Zoom has removed that 'distance' barrier and in fact opened the dialog up as we are willing to talk about more on zoom than we would when we would meet in a restaurant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom is not free and at first was very challenging to figure out how to set up a meeting. Our meetings are not regular, and therefore need to be set up each week to accommodate several schedules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom provides an instant way to connect with anyone at anytime via the internet.
