I've been using zoom for the last 4 years and I love it
What do you like best about the product?
it integrates seamlessly into the apps I use every day to make scheduling and meetings easy

some of my prospects and clients find it hard to set up for the first time when they use other video conferencing platforms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is my go to video conferencing platform for prospect calls, client calls, and recurring internal team meetings
Easy to Use, Quality Video Conferencing
What do you like best about the product?
It's ubiquitous, most people know how to use it. And most of the people that I send a link to appreciate that it's a trusted company and trusted solution for video conferencing - I also really appreciate that I can offer a dial-in option for our meeting attendees (either those with low bandwidth or lacking internet access).
What do you dislike about the product?
I find little to dislike. There were some problems in the past with security with that platform. there are limited backgrounds and sometimes people would like to use avatars instead of an actual video feed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom made it so that we could offer meetings for our neighborhood council even in the era of Covid-19 - this allowed our council to stay active. Even today, when we're again meeting in person, we still can offer an option for those that don't feel comfortable meeting in person, or for those that are shut-ins etc. This allows broader participation and representation for our community.
Zoom Should Be the Industry Standard
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is intuitive and easy to utilize. When thinking of a program for video conferencing, it is the first program to deliver everything that one would need without the unnecessary clutter that other programs use to draw in users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the scheduling portion of the program has confused me; however, once you understand what each setting does, it becomes more straightforward. Another issue I have found exists not only within Zoom but in other programs is when it does not automatically log users in. I have found that using a link without actually logging into the program will not establish you as the host needed to moderate some of the settings, such as sharing one's screen. The program allows you to remain online while it logs in, so it is an easy fix; however, it can sometimes be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom, in my opinion, became the industry standard from day one of Covid. It became such a vital tool to continue communication with team members when no one could sit around a table, hold meetings in person, or visit with family. Zoom established a quick and easy way to provide interaction in a seemingly friendly way without the need for an extensive understanding of technology.

Zoom is easy for you to set up and share the link with friends or families. Easy to sign on to conference and share documents.

the system allows speaker view but as soon as someone else speaks, you lose the speaker

Zoom has the flexibility to allow for multiple meeting rooms, screen sharing, Polls, and whiteboards. I use it for clients from many countries, and for meetings that span the globe. New features added often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to see and interact with people from all over the world in my work, and benefits me in allowing me to share graphics, tools and techniques, and multi-media presentations.
A platform that shines in this category.
What do you like best about the product?
Live transcription, ability to control virtual backgrounds with ease, pronoun entry, admin controls for site-wide changes, and the continuity of service when streaming.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm a fan of Zoom more than other platforms. I think the disappointment tends to be around when you are sharing the screen how easy it is to find the sharing bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is connecting my team with ease and with meaningful integrations to schedule meetings within Outlook and to get people from anywhere into the same meeting space.
The VHS of Collaboration Platforms
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is ubiquitous. Because of its widespread use, it is a safe default platform to invite others to collaborate on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the setup and configuration is a little clunky still. It should be easier to share screen access, hosting roles, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The same as for everyone else I presume: the need for live collaboration across distance.
A needed tool for all entrepreneurs
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom can hold many people in the same space, on camera, and record it. It's pretty amazing. I also LOVE the feature through screen share for remote access!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the ability to put pictures in the chat (not a function on mobile at least.) And if recordings could come with a transcript and and subtitles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving business and clients being able to meet no matter what which is perfect for my business since my clients are global.
Overall Zoom experience for both work and personal needs
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is generally accessible for differently abled people, i.e., if a user needs a transcript or captions, they have access to that during the meeting. Zoom is constantly adding more features, which makes it a great product to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
With some of the new security features, such as, the host has to admit users into the meeting (waiting room), or the host is the only one who can record the meeting unless the host previously enabled co-hosts for the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it easy to connect with people regardless of where they are in the world. I can easily connect with people during meetings and it provides some type of order during meetings with the raised hand feature.

What do you like best about the product?
I use zoom for my tutoring work and I really like the feature of annotate because it allows my students to participate more during the lesson.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times that my students join zoom meeting already but I don't see them trying to join the meeting from my side. Not sure if it is just a bug or not.

Since Covid pandemic starts in2020, zoom made it possible to keep my lessons going by switching in person class to online.
