Efficient way to equip and empower teammates.
What do you like best about the product?
The main thing that I like about the features of Zoom is the recording via local drive or cloud. I can access the recording anytime, anywhere. As. far as trying out other options is concerned, it's only Zoom that provides these excellent features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The meeting that is deleted from my schedule if it's not indicated as recurrent. I think it's better to leave the option to the user if he/she wants to delete it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, before the pandemic, we would only have meetings that are onsite, but now, thanks to the technology and Zoom, we're able to have meetings online or hybrid.
Overall good service, problems with lost recordings
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and how universally it's used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Several times all my recordings have disappeared and the zoom system said I had only the basic plan. Contacting support was pretty useless and eventually the recording just showed up again. Was frustrating for me and my clients. That this hslleved more than once is ridiculous.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nice easy to use group call interface with recording feature.
Solid Platform for Distance Collaboration & Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a great way to keep our community "together" when it is not possible to physically be together - from corporate meetings to musical confabs, there are few programs that rival the convenience of Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Zoom is helpful to get people together, high latency can be difficult at times. I wish that the platform also allowed for a "chatroom" feature that could make for casual drop-ins during office hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is allowing us to meet at times that are convenient to each committee member/employee without having to find a central location where we can all meet!
Zoom is amazing
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Zoom is really efficient, and in an era of technology, Zoom fulfills all the requirements. Whether it be for a meeting, teaching a class, or just chatting with friends.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly Zoom checks all my boxes. I would say too many subscriptions, and also the pricing is a bit high. There is also a lack of comment control. And sometimes there are glitches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After Covid, many people looked for an alternative for many things, and Zoom was the answer to many of those problems. Through Zoom, I could continue my job, meetings, volunteering with kids, and staying caught up with friends and family.
What's not to like? Ubiquitous, easy to use, good quality audio/video
What do you like best about the product?
Almost everyone is familiar with it. Feels like the GM of video calling/conferencing. And it works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just learned that we can't hide the list of people who receive an invitation to a meeting/webinar. Don't like that at all. Really need to have that option -- because some of our participants don't WANT to be bothered by other participants.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Being able to see one another face to face; (2) Being able to plan and conduct group meetings or webinars at VERY LOW COST without technical support beyond what we have internally.
Communicating with ease during pandemic times
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use. I like that they took the effort to increase their security posture to help the growing masses that use the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like to 40min restriction, but then again its free right?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
they have a lot of problems especially on the security side but I think they are addressing it by giving users the option to do fast updating to fix issues and bugs on their application.
Zoom is the easiest meeting/screen sharing/family get together program anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
Everybody knows the name, and almost everyone has used it, so it's familiar. I almost never have issues getting someone in the meeting through an invite or link, and my internet speed has been the only source of slowdown.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know it's for my security, but needing either a password or other form of login is a little much for those less computer litterate or on a mobile device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Realtor that works with clients moving from other states to AZ. Zoom allows me to meet with them and let them put a face to my name and vice versa. It is so much better than an empty voice at the other end of a phone call.
Easy to use video conferencing
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom's interface is simple, and makes it easy to conference, share video, audio and screens.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of integrations with common calendar software makes it a challenge to add information to events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me have virtual 'face to face' meetings with my clients and share information to get feedback in real time.
Great app to train remotely
What do you like best about the product?
Since the pandemic, I've worked remotely and it's been so helpful to train new employees with the aid of Zoom and having the ability to share my screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any issues. I also do virtual Zumba classes and sharing music is so easy and the quality is so good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me mostly with allowing me to train my employees. I can make them co-host and they can share their screen and show me their progress as well. I work for a food distribution and I have to check the orders of people on training and the sharing of the screen has been perfect. I also love the ability to mute and unmute myself. So if I have to have a conversation with another manager, I can mute myself so that the employee in training doesn't hear me. Also with Zumba, muting everyone makes the class run smoothly without any outside noise.
Clearer instructions and buttons
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see everyone and to record. The chat box is nice, especially the ability for private chats.
What do you dislike about the product?
The buttons need to be clearer. Make the buttons read "Start scheduled meeting" or "Start new meeting," not just "Start meeting." I've inadvertently started a new meeting many times.
When sharing my screen, there should be some on-screen indication if others are seeing what I'm sharing without my having to ask them. I once did a whole pitch presentation with a pitch deck that I was sharing without realizing that the others couldn't see my pitch deck. It wasn't until later that I found out that they thought I was doing an entirely oral presentation and so didn't say anything. Naturally, I didn't win the pitch. I realized later that it was because I had gotten a new iMac.
There is still some lag.
Some participants freeze if their connection is slow.
If the microphone picks up that a participant is talking, there should be a large notice on screen that the participant is muted. It's a shame that the most common phrases in the last two years are: "He's frozen again." and "You're muted!"
