A Game Changer

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is fairly easy to use. Those who aren't tech savvy can be up and running quickly with minimal instruction. The ease and scheduling meetings and creating an invitation list enables planning for future events. The quality of the video and sound are good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot access my contacts list from within the app. I have to enter individually and the process isn't intuitive clinks can be confusing or glitchy. Interactivity between Zoom and my Apple contacts would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom with my Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. During COVID, meetings and social interactions were impossible without technology. We were able to expand our contacts beyond our physical catchment area, increasing membership and participation.

Simple, Repeatable, Easy to Use Networking

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can give control of my screen to a client for them to sign documents and forms. I can schedule zoom meetings with breakout rooms already setup so that when I log in, they're already loaded. I can use multiple devices at the same time so I can use the white board on my tablet, view everything on my laptop, and manage participants from my phone. I can be in multiple breakout rooms at the same time by using multiple devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The contact/post zoom meeting chat function is frustrating at best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting with clients any time, no matter where they are geographically in the world. It makes learning webinars easy to schedule and log into.

    Non-Profit Organization Management

Best Collaboration on All Levels

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is now a household word. It is easy to collaborate and to meet virtually with all levels of users. I conduct weekly sessions that include international participants, usually at least 6 or 7 countries spanning 5 continents. Those who participate range from novice to expert. We've had no technical issues with the platform itself. We also have some impaired users who use the phone dial in feature.
Zoom is always improving and always providing information to keep up to date and secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a good knowledge base, but sometimes it can take a while to locate specific help topics. Also, it's not always clear if some features are only for certain plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom in the course of my work with religious organizations. Zoom brings people together to achieve goals and communicate needs. There are other platforms available but I know when I say "Zoom" I have the best chance of engagement.

Zoom is fine (when it works)

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Most everyone uses Zoom, so new leads and existing clients are likely to have no trouble at all joining a meeting using our link.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom has lately been CRASHING whenever I share my screen. This has happened during some really important meetings. 3-4 times last week alone. Not being able to share the screen is non-negotiable for the kinds of meetings we run, so we had to disrupt the entire meeting and move to another platform. Insane.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It integrates easily with most of the SaaS apps we use.

It just works better

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Consistency of the platform. Video quality is always good - the mouth matches the audio. It is the "kleenex" of the online meeting world.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) That you're not in person with someone. 2) it gets overwhelming when there are too many people on a zoom meeting. Sometimes people use it when they should be using a different webinar product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Initially, Zoom solved more problems than now. During the pandemic, it was vital for productivity. Other products have started to catch up that are built into other software we use (Teams). However, outside of internal meetings, we all prefer Zoom.

Robust, versatile, dependable video communication

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
+ Simple to use
+ Handles unstable connections pretty gracefully
+ Easily integrates into most scheduling software like Outlook
+ Provides a robust feature set to support things like breakout rooms and polls
+ Provides superior screen sharing support for smooth video
+ Provides the ability to directly control another user's screen, which is invaluable for technical support
+ Supported on a wide array of platforms
+ Provides a robust set of options for customizing video and audio input / output
What do you dislike about the product?
- Price point is a bit high, and free tier is a bit limiting
- A bit of a resource hog on some laptops
- User flow for generating and sending invite links could be redesigned to require less steps
- Non-hosts should have the ability to locally mute & disable video from other users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it very easy to work and interact remotely with others both from a business and personal perspective. Whether it's collaborating with coworkers, or helping my parents solve some problem on their home computers, Zoom is the best-in-class for video chat programs currently.

Zoom is super easy to use!

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to schedule meetings, add people to a meeting in session, share screens and mark them up, chat, and so much more!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only difficulty I've ever had is someone saying the Zoom link I sent isn't working, and I have to send them a new one. I often suspect it's user error though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables me to meet with clients and team members remotely to talk and review projects. Meeting remotely saves us travel time and expense, and reduces risks associated with meeting in person (like exposure to pandemics).

What do you dislike about the product?
Inc. during the pandemic as a part of Our weekly sales meetings which we used to have face-to-face we are still currently using zoom as a part of our weekly sales meetings due to sometimes our sales reps are out of the office access point
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I explained in my previous statement these are very strange times when it comes to germs and germ a phobic and people that have different beliefs about viruses and colds and what not so it's very imperative that as a corporation were able to include everyone in the sales meetings

Loooove Zoom-ing!

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom is so easy to use. We have some technologically savvy people on our team and those that aren't as much savvy. It seems everyone can use it with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Zoom had the ability to take notes for a meeting and send them out to participants directly after the call, or some one-click solution for this type of communication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves the problem of missing being in an office. We work from home and being able to Zoom eases the difficulty of getting to know people, finding answers to questions and keeping in touch on projects.

Easy to use teaching platform.

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Use of my pictures and video while teaching. Ability to share with students.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not easily being able to create a background. Have to use either green screen or set up a room.
Students don't always have easy access when their internet speeds are low.
Technical issues that I can't easily fix during a teaching session.
Need for students to have to create a Zoom account (according to them)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being in an isolated section of Maine and being able to train students across the US. That is a benefit.
Well known and used program so it appears that I am current as opposed to backward.
In general access to the Zoom platform across different electronic devices is a benefit.
