Zoom has been very helpful for arranging family meetings during covid.
What do you like best about the product?
By having my own account, I became the default organizer when others suggest we have a meeting, either family or business. That could be a double-edged sword, but ultimately I found that to be more convenient than responding to other invites.
What do you dislike about the product?
For personal contacts, sometimes people get lost in the crowd. There's lots of generalized talk and less intimate information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meetings are easier. As a doctor, I'm looking into Zoom's options that provide the security required for telemedicine.
I recommend this for all my customers
What do you like best about the product?
Stability and simplicity at its best, when weighed against competing software such as BlueJeans for an OS agnostic solution I have yet to find anything that is better. Many of my customers are on Linux platforms which do not support office applications like Teams and the user experience needs to be the same or better. Zoom has found that "sweet spot".
What do you dislike about the product?
My only criticism would be in reference to the scheduling interface, with the Zoom app. It tends to be clunky, and most of my customer base uses the web interface just for ease.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My customers support clients of their own, many of whom are abroad and need to present documents and video. e.g. My US client has a consultant in Romania who needs to provide detailed documentation to a third party in S.A. in real-time. This process would not be cost-effective if all parties needed to meet in person. This also allows for my U.S. client to evolve his business model from regional to global.
The most efficient videoconference software
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is user-friendly, widely popular among users, and has all of the tools needed to make videoconferencing easy to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is not very accessible to everyone. It would be nice if there were multiple tiers of membership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to easily connect with clients, record podcasts, and share data.
Dependable service
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use, understand, and integrate into our business and meetings. I appreciate the many options and features zoom has available and our ability to customize it for what we do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to figure out how to use some of the features on Mac like recording the whole group instead of just the presenting screen. What should be an easy fix actually took awhile of searching online to figure out I needed to change a setting on zoom on my Mac versus just changing a setting in the online portal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to meet with clients in a moments notice without having to be there face to face which makes us more efficient with our time and saves us money on gas, parking, etc.
Multi-year satisfied customer
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is simple to use and ubiquitous. I've used teleconferencing and web meeting services for two decades and Zoom is by far the easiest and most versatile. I particularly like the calendar integration and the ability to schedule meetings from my phone and have them propagate my calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had some occasional issues with cross device integration (ie. moving from computer to iPad or phone) but nothing that's been recurring. For the most part, no issues to report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual connectivity everywhere. We run a dispersed consulting firm and Zoom is an essential part of our infrastructure and that which we use with clients on a daily basis.
Convenient and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
That it integrates with my Outlook calendar so I can easily set up Zoom meetings with one click. I also like that I can record the meetings and quickly get a link to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to blur my background slightly, not as much as the current blur background offers. And the virtual backgrounds don't work well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps me connected to my team and my clients by allowing us to easily share screens and discuss projects. My team used to meet in person weekly and now we meet via zoom 3 out of 4 weeks, saving them time and gas money.
A great tool for connecting professionally and socially
What do you like best about the product?
I can connect with friends, family, coworkers, and clients easily. I can set up and schedule meetings at specific times or invite someone to my personal room for a quick last-minute drop-in. I appreciate the option to email and text link.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to change the name of my personal room. It is awkward to invite someone to my "personal room" when I am hosting something professional or academic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I always elect to use Zoom over the default programs used by my office because it is a higher quality tool and I have fewer technical issues compared to other tools.
Flexibility and bringing worldclass therapists into my world.
What do you like best about the product?
I find it invaluable in navigating COVID19. It has meant a far more flexible working environment for my clients and for me. Ability to now to have clients travel and still maintain contact regardless of where they are in the world. To be able to gain access to world-class training opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
My sound seems to go in and out, and I have to change speakers a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flexibility to still see clients when they cannot make it into the office due to childcare issues, weather or illness. This means that our therapy can continue unabated. It has also brought therapeutic training more available from some of the best in the world.
Simple and easy way to connect
What do you like best about the product?
I use Zoom for one on one and group coaching sessions, and it's straightforward and easy, even for those that have aren't technologically savvy. I like that it's easy to record sessions, use screen sharing and the dashboard isn't too busy with features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Chat would be included in the recording and that all settings and features were available in the app, not just on the website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can coach sessions remotely instead of needing to meet in person and it feels more engaging that phone calls.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule meeting to held a certain time.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you are limited on the length and number of people unless you pay.

It allows me to reach out to many different people in many different places at the same time.
