Zoom is the Choice for Video Conferencing
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to log-in to, even if you don't have an account. Zoom is user-friendly. Zoom is reliable for sound and video quality, especially over other options for video conferencing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to understand all of the settings when setting up a meeting. I would like an easier way to start a meeting for someone other than having to log-on and switch hosting inside the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We meet remotely from all across the nation and it keeps us from having to travel to gather for meetings. We are able to save chats & record meetings easily for record keeping, too.
Wonderful Product to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how zoom allows me to share my screen with potential patients, and invite other group members in for family sessions. I have found this product to be incredibly helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
I think zoom is incredibly helpful for Mental health community and has made it more accessible for people to seek care. Being a therapist, I found this product incredibly useful and beneficial. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't noticed too many problems with Zoom, every now and then there's a technical error or a glitch, but that seems to be few and far between. I generally have no complaints at this product.
Zoom saved my annual workshop!
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a songwriter who co-writes nearly every song I write. For me Zoom is practically like being in the room with someone. It has made it possible for me to continue being productive during the pandemic.
What do you dislike about the product?
With big groups, seems like it is almost impossible to keep everyone on "Mute." I sure wish Zoom could figure out a way to keep everyone else's mic from being muted as soon as another person's gets activated. That can make things messy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In 2020 when the world came to screeching halt, the first thing I did was sign up for a Zoom Pro account. To serve the songwriting community of aspiring writers, I began hosting free weekly classes on various songwriting topics. We did that for about 3 months once a week just to keep people connected. And then, since it was clear we wouldn't be able to have our annual workshop in person, we planned and executed the whole thing on Zoom over a 4-day period. We held over 40 classes, a competition, a live concert, panel discussions, an award's ceremony, and even an after-party. We could not have done any of it without Zoom.
I've benefited from Zoom greatly over the last few years.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the option to blur my background and the breakout rooms are amazing. I love being able to hold different conversations in the virtual spaces and let people have a part of privacy in virtual spaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest challenge with Zoom is a problem that I haven't noticed as much lately. It used to have challenges with crashing and had some interesting security needs at first, but I haven't noticed that in a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is allowing me the ability to meet with people for a low overhead cost for me. It makes me more productive and allows me to offer a service I might be otherwise unable to provide as regularly.
I've had very few issues with Zoom.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how dependable it is. I love the desktop reminders and the ease of copying invites.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to save the recording to a Google drive other than downloading and then reuploading. The Gmail plug-in on the calendar is terrible too, and has totally screwed me up by deleting calls. Sometimes, scheduling from the app/site can put the entry as "now" and then the call is expired when it actually happens. Also, randomly we get a "the host is not allowing unmute" but I am the host and there are no other hosts on the call. Other users are unmuted fine. It seems random, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to record calls, present well, and have recurring plans. It's a solid platform and is dependable.
Remote work made easy
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that it is possible to have multiple people on Zoom calls and I also really like that I can blur my background so that my messy house is not visible to others on the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes I find the chat box really distracting. I was on a large group call last week and the chat box was in constant motion which distracted alot from the presentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would not have been able to continue my coaching practice if it weren't for Zoom. When everything was shut down because of COVID I was still able to meet with clients. Phone conference calls would not have been as satisfactory. With travel shut down I was able to stay in touch with my family in Canada through Zoom which made a huge difference for all family members.
Good quality, easy to use video conferencing.
What do you like best about the product?
The general layout of the zoom controls are easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to set meeting settings is a bit of a drawback for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom naturally makes it easier to communicate effectively with my peers as I can see them and reactions to various proposals.
Now the defacto standard
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's such a widely used video call platform -- makes life much easier when creating events, or Webinars. I use it at work and my wife uses it for her home business as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the controls are quirkly. Most users don't understand calling in with their phone and using their computer video at the same time (feedback/echo). Chat would be better docking in an easy place when you press that button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems? As mentioned above, having a unified program to use, to start. Makes working remote so much easier for teams that are in the office and out of the office.
Using Zoom for most of my virtual meetings
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to schedule with other people and it is very stable across platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is not very intuitive and doesn't allow me to share files or project as other communication platforms do

I wouldn't know. I never had a problem with Zoom per se. Overall it fulfill my expectations

Zoom has been amazing, it’s thee red only way I could keep teaching my dance classes. I’m really happy with how it works, very few problems and they are always making it a better experience.

Seems like it is more clear and smooth now, which is good for dance zoom classes. More dancers seem happy about this too! It has not increased.no, it has stayed the same
