It was good, back before the big Replay and now it's even better
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom works. Period. No drama. I get on, We stay on. Everyone can hear. All quite elegant
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate, hate, hate, how stupidly difficult it is to adjust my photo and lighting. Come on - a bathroom mirror feature to check whether the new ring light makes me look like death eating a cookie? Not hard to improve on the available preview. Also recording is more space and trouble with every upgrade...but I bet it will improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We simply would not have made it through the pandemic without zoom. And now we are happier and healthier because we're not going back to work in the office five days a week. Zoom has genuinely improved my quality of life!
The Organizer - My Life Made Ease!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful /best part about using Zoom is that it's user-friendly. Most of my clients are 60+ and simplicity is key. They can log on with one click and be ready for action. If I use PollEverywhere, my audience can use it on the computer or from their mobile device which is excellent because not all of them are tech-savvy. I use the Business level while conducting business and it is AWESOME! All of my audience fits, including my team. I'm able to control who enters and when. With or without their mics being on and the spotlight feature is the bee's knees. When we are celebrating an accomplishment or birthday or anything exciting, we can put that person in the spotlight and recognize them. The little emojis are sure cute and love that we can choose from a large panel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least useful thing about Zoom is the whiteboard feature. It could be because I don't need it. I'm really into tech and I like to use things that make my life and career easier. Something else that I'm also not a fan of is the basic package is only allowed 45 minutes. I think an hour would be perfect and convenient. I use the basic level Zoom on my own time to record my podcast videos/interviews. It's annoying to have to end my video and then resume if the segment goes over 45 minutes. I'm sure you would suggest an upgrade but I only use it once a week for my personal things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not sure if this issue is being solved but with the breakout rooms, it would be so much better if we can make them ahead of time and not have to start over the process when more people join the group. I had a slight issue with exporting my mp4 videos. I reached out to Zoom and they gave me options to fix it so I'm happy about that.
Ex: I have 5 pre-named rooms. Once people join the Zoom, I have to refresh the room and the names convert back to Breakout Room 1 - 5 etc etc.

Zoom for a small city and religious use
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of zoom has been fantastic. I use Zoom for municipal meetings and ecclesiastical meetings. The City meetings are seamless. The ecclesiastical meetings involve users who are older and not as comfortable with technology but they have been able to easily use the Zoom platform. We have had as many as 40 people on the broadcast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experienced problems with Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During COVID-19 social restrictions, Zoom allowed the City to continue business. It also facilitated meetings that obviously did not require travel.
In the ecclesiastical setting, Zoom has facilitated participation by people who otherwise would not have been able to participate.

Best Video Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I love Zoom! It's super easy to use + navigate. I use it almost everyday to host client meetings and company meetings. Makes work + connecting a breeze!!! I'm able to record for future use and whiteboard is a plus to add demonstration to any presentation which I absolutely loveeeeee!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing to dislike. Everything works well in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is making virtual meetings easy, affordable and reliable. Creates an upgraded experience.
The only video conferencing service I use
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is the only video conferencing service I use because everyone I deal with uses it too. Live Painting Demos, Art Lessons, Podcast recording, Meetings, or chatting with family or friends I do it all with Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
It, understandably, slows down my wifi connectivity but because upgrading my wifi is not an option at the moment. I try to not use the app at peak hours and it seems to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to record audio and video formats of my art demos & lessons and even podcast recordings. Making it easier to upload online and reach a larger audience,
Zoom is the best online video communication platform I've used.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Zoom has always been its ease of use. Everything just works like it's supposed to! And if someone has a poor connection the audio is usually still functional even if the video is not. I think what enabled Zoom to beat out all of the pre-existing competitors was how rock-solid its audio connections usually are.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about using Zoom is the mobile app isn't nearly as easy to use as the PC version. New users on the mobile app struggle to find things like the unmute button much more than when they first use the software on PC. It's also still got a very technical and professional feel to it which can be off-putting to casual or non-professional users. I come from an IT background so everything makes perfect sense to me, but I notice issues when trying to use it with non-technical folks like my parents. They seem to have an easier time using Skype and Duo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves the problem of needing an easy-to-use, reliable web conferencing platform. It has all the features a small business or individual could need for this function. It is feature complete. I frequently use the screen sharing feature, file sharing, and chat function - the raise hand feature is fantastic on my coaching calls. I've used Zoom to record live presentations of online seminars that we then turned into products. I've used the recordings of calls to create YouTube content and advertisements.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, i have never had audio issues with Zoom as i do with other providers, the integration with Outlook is seamless and it appears to be universally liked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not great on a mobile device which is annoying when trying to take a zoom call on the road but not a deal breaker for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It negates having to travel to see customers every month, now i can travel every quarter which is a bonus.
Zoom is a great web conferencing service
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to set up, I am not very technical and I was able to get it going very quickly. I also like that the video quality is really good. A lot of the competitors had a much steeper learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you can stream to multiple platforms at the same time. Being able to stream to multiple platforms would allow me to reach a lot more potential clients for my business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very easy for me to host my coaching calls on Zoom and bring all of my clients from all over the world together. Everyone is very familiar with Zoom so no one ever has complained that they are using Zoom.
Convenient way to do business when schedules are crazy
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom helps my non-for-profit volunteers get together without the hassle of finding a meeting space. People can have our meetings from wherever they are while Zoom provides a clear picture and easy to navigate controls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful aspect of Zoom is the lack of a master control that can help the host mute AND UNMUTE participants. Obviously this would need to be done with the participants permission, but surely something can be done at the beginning of the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is helping my volunteers meet without taking into account driving time. When a person is unable to make it in person, they are encouraged to join us via zoom. It helps keep our volunteers involved.
Okay product with a misleading sales experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's a well-known tool. Our employees are comfortable with it. The features are reasonably modern without being overly complex. So far the administration seems easy enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model is based on "attendees," but this verbiage is misleading. They are selling seats or registrations, not necessarily actual attendance. You cannot oversell seats to attain service level attendance goals. For example, assuming 50% attrition, a free webinar that generates 500 registrations may only see ~250 actual live attendees. To attain the targeted live attendee audience, it'd require ~150%. A purchased 500 attendee level of service will cap registration/enrollment at 500 and not allow for flexibility to address this attrition with overbooking. It's misleading/false advertising IMO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Leaving GoTo Webinar for a more modern user experience. We are mainly focused on lead-generating events and training delivery to partners. Events may range 500-2000 live users. Training may be 20-200.
