Most consistent video platform for a WFH lifestyle
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom provides the best quality video calls with the fewest encountered problems (audio issues on either end being the most common on other platforms). It is easy to share your screen and send messages through the chat. There is a HIPAA compliant option for a reasonable price.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the free version could include a BAA and have longer meetings. It was a hard decision to use zoom when there are free platforms out there. It would also be helpful if you could view chats after a meeting in your personal meeting room, ideally with an ongoing log for each individual participant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before deciding to pay for zoom, I had problems with each free option available - poor video quality, audio connecting and disconnecting, everything freezing, complicated methods of joining meetings and therefore having to have multiple platforms to meet all of my client's needs. Now they are all in one place!
Zoom saved the day allowing us to operate with meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Price is affordable. Helps our company's board to still meet and be productive. Program is easy to use and we have no problems using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are at the mercy of the wifi network where we are at. If wifi signal is bad, you may need to check and see how Zoom will work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is allowing our company to still meet regularly. We are able to host meetings in person and via Zoom. The Zoom option comes in very handy for those who are away and those who don't want to meet in person.

Zoom is very easy to use and also very easy to teach my team how to use it.

I hate when my screen gets locked and I can't share my screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has given me the ability to hire people in other states and be able to train them right along side of my local team. My team has been able to grow and learn through Zoom.
Loving Zoom meetings, chat, and whiteboard
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is invaluable to doing business in a post-pandemic landscape. Being able to meet and have live conversation and collaboration without the logistical hurdles of in-person meetings is priceless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love wverything about Zoom. I do wish they didn't have to require either a passcoade or waiting room for every meeting, and that we were able to choose our own security level, but i understand why this policy was implemented during the pandemic, when "Zoom bombing" unfortunately became a thing. I have never been Zoom bombed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes my consulting services much more accessible to potential clients who live outside of my region, and likewise reduces my logistical expenses as I'm able to meet clients in my own home.
Reliable, company seems intent on providing safe and dependable comms
What do you like best about the product?
That I can start a meeting in seconds and have a lot of participants with almost no work depending on the host options I have set. I have not really used other competitor's products, because Zoom works very well for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The options available to a host are almost overwhelming. That however has not stopped me and my crowd from using Zoom several days a week. I am pretty sure there is a PDF of how to use Zoom effectively depending on objective; I will look for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is transit time and the effort required just to get to a meeting. These have evaporated with Zoom's functionality, and I find Zoom meetings at least as productive as in person meetings.
Good experience
What do you like best about the product?
Useful and easy to use for business and nonprofit meetings. Many features that I do not always use and do not need to use in order to do what I must do. Easier to use than some others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally has not worked but that has not happened in awhile. Once needed help with a billing error and it took months to fix. But it was fixed. Would like to be abie to add more authorized users to the account without multiplying the fee by the number of authorized users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mandatory for meetings in the early days of the pandemic. Still heavily used. prayer groups and some training and volunteer meetings still on Zoom. Many people prefer not to travel.
Cannot succeed without Zoom
What do you like best about the product?
I work for a fully remote company. We are 100% reliant on Zoom for our business. We use it for all of our internal meetings, as well as for all of our client meetings. It is easy to use, works globally, and is reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom itself, but especially the share screen function slows down my computer tremendously. This can get in the way of presentations, which affects professionalism and efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are reliant on Zoom. Because of Zoom, we are enabled to be a fully remote company with employees and clients all over the world. We use Zoom for internal meetings, client meetings, and even for virtual employee engagement activities (office Olympics!).
Fast meeting starts and good audio/video performance with sizable attendee counts
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up, via Google calendar. Meetings start relatively quickly, on laptops and mobile devices. Audio/video quality is good and fairly stable. Many features for recording, chat, screen share etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perceived security concerns with some customers, although that's waning now.
Chat sessions are not persistent.
Meeting ownership sometimes gets confusing and it becomes hard to record the meeting.

Sometimes the links do not work, I also do not like how long the invite is.

Being able to meet people virtually rather than having to meet them in person or chat with them on the phone.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is widely used and a familiar name, so clients don't hesitate to create a new account if they don't already have one. Creating new meetings is relatively simple, and option to record them is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Duplicating the parameters of past meetings when creating new ones should be simpler.

Zoom provides a reliable platform for conducting my classes online, widening my reach from my local area to students worldwide.
