Best Video conference calling to teach virtually!
What do you like best about the product?
It is very user-friendly and easy to create and schedule meetings/virtual training. I like that it allows side by side view for the presentation and for participants and the chat box being able to pop out is very helpful too with being able to answer questions almost immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Zoom. The one thing I would say would be very helpful is with the "mute all" button, to have it where it mutes everyone except the host, or at least have everyone muted but host as an option so that when we're teaching and click mute all, we then don't have to move the mouse around the screen and unmute ourselves before continuing to teach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The coronavirus definitely hurt our business and Zoom offering the ability to teach and train our students virtually has been extremely beneficial. Not only have we been able to reach our usual students, but people all over the world.
Zoom isn't flawless, but it's way better than the alternatives
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very easy to use, and virtually everyone knows how to use it. I use Zoom to communicate with people around the United States and around the world, and I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't have experience with it. Even first-time users can get connected. Once the pandemic hit, Zoom was forced to increase their footprint and capabilities, which they did, in my view, as capably as they could have been expected to under the circumstances.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not a lot of things I dislike about Zoom, probably because I, like the rest of the world, was forced to adopt the application for much of my work. My main downside is relatively minor: their background features and usability seems to lag behind what is possible in Microsoft Teams. (However, there is nothing else about Teams that is even close to being as good as Zoom.) Another minor issue I have occurs when I schedule a meeting on my iPhone. I cannot get Zoom to put the meeting onto my Outlook calendar (my primary calendar app)—it puts the meeting on my iOS calendar instead. My iMac will put the Zoom meeting into Outlook, however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like many people, I have the need for meetings that are one-offs; these are straightforward and easy for Zoom. The more challenging meetings are ones that are scheduled monthly across multiple time zones or the ones that may be one-offs, but are international. I have found that Zoom allows each attendee to clearly see the time of a meeting in their own time zone—whether in the states or worldwide. Also, I teach a monthly leadership seminar to a group of people and find the breakouts feature to be quite robust and user-friendly. This is of great benefit for eliciting rich discussions.
Great video conference platform
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate with great features for enhancing backgrounds and other visuals. Zoom has all the tools needed for an effective meeting with colleagues across the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free service capped at 40 minutes is a little annoying for smaller start-up companies that can't afford a premium, enterprise-level, paid service. It would be better to go back to the 60 minutes and just make a maximum number of free meetings per year instead of reducing the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is a great tool to connect with remote employees, interview candidates that are far away, and collaborate with international partners or those on another coast.
Zoom is reliable and convenient for planned and impromptu meetings!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and functionality of the Zoom app, as well as the many options to use a whiteboard, share screen, share audio and breakout rooms. This allows multiple things to be done at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that no warning is given via email or notification when Zoom requires an update. This can cause tardiness to meetings depending on the speed of the PC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving the problem of being able to invite attendees to meetings before and after they have begun. The different background choices allow a professional background even when on vacation.
Makes my job easier!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the whole experience! It's great being able to "meet" clients before going out into the field with them. The share screen functionality allows me to review critical documents in a time sensitive manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much! Occasionally I'll get an error message when it tries to add the meeting to my Google calendar but that's more annoying than a real issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to meet with clients and vet them out before meeting them in the field. Also to go over critical documents together. Zoom helps clients be more focused. What used to take 2 hours in the office now takes an hour on Zoom.
Great product that is also easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Constant updates, easy to use. Stays logged in for a while, eliminating annoying entry of credentials
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I wish Was different is that it would be great if they notified us of new features So that I knew what had come with a new update. And I don't mean the email that says there are new updates - click here. I mean an email with a summary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy set up of new mtgs! Auto initiates a new calendar invite. Makes it easy for me to set up mtgs in 30 seconds. I can be responsive & organized without taking extra time!
Every Business needs Zoom
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, accessible. Most people who connect with us have no issues getting online and the service runs smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
no qualms here. I appreciate there are multiple levels of customizations and functionalities within zoom that we can tailor to what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to facilitate online small groups and have people who are otherwise unable to leave their homes still be able to connect and participate in our church's Bible Studies.
Excellent tool for video Conferencing
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to break out; being able to share the scheduling link any way, with anyone; ability to change hosts; the waiting room
What do you dislike about the product?
A little confusing to use the more sophisticated tools; hard to get asap help 24/7.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Videoconferencing with my global clients, way before Covid-19. My clients are all global and need to have meetings involving the Americas, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa all at once and this has been a life saver.
ZOOM....The Ties That Bind!!
What do you like best about the product?
ZOOM brings people from all around the world together at one time. No need to travel to a meeting. The meeting comes to you!!! It seems to perform better than any other platform I have tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time limit on the basic plan is not convenient. I am sad they took away that function for the account that is attached to the pro account. I would like to see this implemented again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the travel time and set up time. Also if any documents are forgotten they can be found and presented rather than having to leave the in-person meeting to get them.
I love zoom and prefer it to other platforms

I think Zoom is very reliable and less buggy than other products. It has lots of great features to enhance its useability as well.

Sometimes it's hard to change things in settings because there are so many options. would prefer more cloud storage.
