What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy platform to use. Features are clearly marked and easy to find. It's very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited recording storage space on my plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to have meetings with business colleagues across the globe. Able to continue professional education online. Also a great way to stay connected with my family.

Perfect for my Book Group

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that every member of this group may participate regardless whether she is a Zoom subscriber, and that the group may meet without me, the organizer.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes glitches/lag time in speech or visuals, which can be a bother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom enables me to meet with students who want to learn Turkish Marbling in other states and countries with ease. I am absolutely more productive with Zoom in my pocket.

Zoom has great features, but I wish the pricing was more flexible

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the waiting room and security features. I also really enjoy the integrations Zoom has created with online (and offline I guess, although I haven't tried those) calender systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
My particular needs for Zoom don't really fit in with their current pricing model. I never need to run more than a single meeting at a time, so I don't need multiple hosts. But I do want to be able to share the account around with multiple users (hosts).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Zoom as an HOA board. It has allowed our meetings to be virtual ever since the pandemic lockdown started. We have been able to keep up with HOA business.

Reviewing Zoom

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about zoom is being able to share my screen with participants. That way, design reviews are more efficient, since all team members see the same visuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, I have strange errors/glitches when Zoom goes full screen. For example, my window swaps between full screen and not full screen repeatedly. It appears to be some kind of bug Zoom hasn't fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom benefits my work experience by increasing the face-to-face interaction I have on. adaily basis. Since we're in a remote environment, it's nice to see their faces and interact virtually.

Zoom Is Fantastic For Telehealth

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Zoom is that it is easy and user-friendly! As a healthcare provider, I utilize the paid HIPAA-compliant version of Zoom. I can schedule my weekly virtual classes with my clients. I can create videos for my membership courses. I can record videos in Zoom and then download them to repurpose in all my social media platforms. Zoom makes my life easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
On occasion, the quality of the video is not as good as I would like. The good aspect of this is that it does not happen often. I also think that internet connectivity is more of the factor than the Zoom platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves a lot of problems for me. It allows me to have a secure platform to maintain confidentiality with my medical-based fitness clients. It allows me to schedule virtual 1-on-1 appointments, virtual group classes, and record videos for my membership courses. When I am teaching classes, I can share my screen and record the class so that participants who could not attend "live" can watch the "replay."

Zoom for Telehealth

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of the Zoom platform for the guest is very helpful. Kids and adolescents also appreciate the filters and backgrounds that can help create ease in starting counseling conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are technical difficulties (screen freezing) that disrupt the flow of the session. It does create some funny comments and screen grabs that help ease the difficulty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach to clients that are otherwise unable to physically come into the building for outpatient sessions. It has also helped us develop a better use of our meetings with people in remote locations.

Capable video conferencing, great customer service

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use, intuitive navigation. It's been the one platform you don't have to screw around with for ages trying to get it to work on your device or download things - easy to just open it in whatever web browser is available. Easy-to-manage account settings, simple to change/upgrade, add on features, etc. Video is high quality, and I haven't had issues with it cutting out all the time like other video conferencing platforms I won't name but rhyme with Meams. The Beauty Filter is appreciated. Handy little features like gallery view, hiding participants, breakout meeting rooms, etc. I also like the integrated chat, it's useful not toggling back and forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing I can complain about is the 40 minute free meeting limit (from my personal Zoom usage, we have a paid corporate account) but I know y'all have to make your money. Also, sometimes the high quality video can bog down our work servers if a ton of us are on at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a reliable alternative to our corporate standard videoconferencing platform when it inevitably conks out every second day.

Pretty good, would recommend

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling meetings is great, and that you can have the app on your phone is also great. Quality is typcially good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had issues with Zoom working and it can be frustrating having to submit tickets instead of calling tech support. It's taking a whole week to get the most recent issue fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's taken a whole week which has been frustrating. Having live phone support would be really helpful. Zoom wasn't opening every time I tried using it, so I've been unable to do meetings on my computer for a week. I've had to use someone else's computer at work.

Dependable, which is I've come to value most in a video conferencing app

  • August 29, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
Video and audio quality is great. Integration with google calendar makes scheduling a zoom call efficient. By far though the ability to review calls and transcripts provides some insurance against forgetting key points.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the home page, change "Schedule" to "Schedule Meeting" or change the icon to something that feels like an action. I always think I'm going to see my upcoming calendar/schedule but it's a link to create a new meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to make a mostly remote team successful. We live in Slack and Zoom using Slack for quick huddles but Zoom for longer meetings where we want to record them and provide the ability to revisit.

Best video communication software

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I regularly have video meetings on Google Meet, Teams, GoTo Meeting, and Zoom. By far, Zoom is the best of all those, IMHO. When Zoom, I encounter less connectivity issues than the others. I don't have to use a certain browser to make it work, it just works. I really like the background options as well as the video filters.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a paid Zoom account, but I do sometimes get invited to Zoom meetings with people on the free account, which is limited to 40 minutes. There's no warning, the meeting just ends, which can be tough. One thing I like better in Teams, is that it pops up a 5-minute alert when the designated meeting time is nearly over. I would love to see that added to Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We all know how the pandemic increased demand for video conferencing. Zoom meets that demand quite well. I have been able to regularly engage with people all over the world as a result.
