Zoom has been great for our practice, and we use it weekly.
What do you like best about the product?
It is helpful to have an account so there is no limit on how long I can hold meetings. I like that I can easily create Zoom meetings from my computer and just as easily on my phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only have a small dislike and that is just when the reception is slow or bad it can be a struggle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have any problems really with Zoom
Straightforward and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom's interface is simple and straightforward enough that even though I have a number of extremely non-technical clients, they can universally get it up and running with little hassle, despite having watched them frequently stumble with other similar tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've run into occasional video issues when someone is using a blurred background. Either their entire video gets laggy or slightly out of focus, or it starts to really chew up processor power. I'd also love it if the option to record meetings with each participant's audio being stored individually were to come from their audio directly, rather than from what's received by me. Occasionally, when they record themselves locally and I compare it to what I've recorded automatically, there's a bit of a difference. But really, those are minor issues at best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem zoom is solving is that my clients and colleagues are all pretty far dispersed geographically. Zoom is the video conferencing software that absolutely everyone has that isn't tied to personal accounts rather than professional ones, but which also has video/audio quality that makes it worth using. It's let me move to a less crowded and expensive area, and not seen any real change in my working life.
Zoom Technology Brings Us Closer Together
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows a mediator to work from anywhere. You can work remotely and get very good results. Attorneys and clients love it as it saves time and money.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom does not allow you to follow body language or are you able to know if someone else is in the room since the focus is generally on the person's face.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to continue my mediation business from anywhere in the world. It is extremely helpful in that regard.
Video Conferencing Done Right
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is simple to use and works great. The Zoom dashboard makes it easy as an admin to see the current status of your meetings to include quality, participants, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The 40 minute time limit for basic (free) accounts. Would be nice if it was at least 60 mins. We have users who don't need a paid license as they don't schedule many meetings, but when they do hold a meeting the 40 minutes is a hinderance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started using Zoom just before Covid and so when Covid hit, we really relied on video conferencing. Zoom made it possible to keep workers communicating face to face, share content and collaborate. We held company wide training sessions with breakout groups using zoom to really focus on what was important for the various departments within the company and Zoom made that happen in a very simple easy to use platform.
Wonderful resource for working remotely
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has made it possible for me to have a job that I wouldn't normally have access to due to location. I am able to connect with people all over the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that zoom has changed it's free account with a time limit of only 40 minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to connect with my coworkers who don't live nearby. I feel like I am in constant connection without having to be in the office.
Zoom Makes Working Virtually a Breeze.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to schedule meetings & I like that it syncs with my calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
A direct integration with my email would be awesome so that I don't have to open Zoom to schedule a meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to meet face to face with associates when we're not physically able to be in the same place at the same time.
Makes meeting with colleagues easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the seamless integration of zoom with my iPhone and laptop. The experience is much smoother than I have with MS Teams. Updates and communication are regular and effective, and the interface is incredibly user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am satisfied with zoom and prefer it as my web conference application of choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom prevents me from missing out on that important face-to-face connection with colleagues and associates. So much nuance gets lost in email or text communication, and zoom is effortless for bridging that gap.
Zoom makes meeting with my teammates easy
What do you like best about the product?
I can join calls with my colleagues from my computer or on the go on my smartphone. Zoom also integrates with our gmail, outlook, and calendars so scheduling is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Zoom automatically generated a transcription of our conversation from the meeting for our internal notes. Other than that, it serves my and my team's needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom meetings always work without a problem. With other video conferencing platforms such as Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, there is always some kind of technical issue that prevents someone from being able to join the meeting. I hate wasting time figuring out the technical glitches so I always just propose we jump on Zoom instead since I know everyone will be able to join without any issues.
Life Changing App during the Life Changing Pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility that Zoom offers in holding multiple meetings (plenary and breakout rooms), the option to save onsite and on the cloud, the ability to interact and control the interaction, and the details of its functionalities that make it one of the best online platforms in the market to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom takes a very large data allocation. In classes, not all my students have unlimited data allocation from their ISPs with some relying on mobile data. If there is a way to decrease its data usage without sacrificing its essential functions, it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We never realized that meetings, classes, conventions, presentations, and other convocations can be preliminarily held to save on time. The pandemic forced us to change the way we do business and Zoom has filled that gap in the system.
Zoom is great! I use it every day.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Zoom is the ease of use, not just for myself but also participants. All they have to do is click on a link that I send them. They don't even have to be a current zoom user, nor do they have to be tech-savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there were more video tutorials so that I could better understand how best to use some of the functionality of zoom that I am currently underutilizing.

I really like the new closed captioning function some of my audience that has hearing impairment can now understand more easily and this makes our meetings more inclusive as well as productive
