Zoom is the new Skype and Join.me
What do you like best about the product?
As we all know, COVID created an environment in which we needed to connect via video and screen shares to do business (and even talk to Mom)... Zoom stepped up to the plate with a platform that didn't require a download on the part of the recipient, could be lean and fast, and also share chats as well as attachments (like images and PDFs) and basically be "dummy proof".
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the breakneck speed with which Zoom had to develop and evolve through COVID, the User interface is perhaps less than the idealized UI of a software tool whose purpose is simple, multimedia connection across the globe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a web designer and digital marketer and have been working with clients around the world for over a decade, so I've always relied on video and screen share technology to interact with my clients, but it was usually Skype, Join.me, etc.... and those platforms required that both parties have the software installed... Zoom doesn't require a download for the recipient (it's browser-based), which reduced the friction and the barrier to entry... but also, because of COVID, everyone needed to connect and jump on a video conferencing platform... so Zoom was the obvious choice.

What do you like best about the product?
I can control who comes on my Zoom and making someone else the host. Schedule a meeting and it will add to my calendar And how I can copy link and send it to everyone
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's difficult for people to turn video and audio on. They have to keep getting off and get back on. It shows that a person is on twice. Zoom acts funny sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to communicate with my organization and family without seeing them. These times are very difficult so it helps me to stay in communication with everyone
Perfect platform for telehealth nutrition services
What do you like best about the product?
Most people and clients are familiar with the platform, so I don't have to spend time explaining to clients how to get connected to appointments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems that it takes a while for participants to connect to audio at times. I'm not sure if this is because of their wifi connection, but clients occasionally do have difficulty getting audio to connect seamlessly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom integrates with my electronic health record and automatically generates new appointment links when appointments are scheduled within my EHR - this saves valuable time!
Zoom is easy to manage as account owner and easy for my clients who may have never Zoomed to learn.
What do you like best about the product?
Best features for me are: Screen Sharing to review quotes with clients and ability to use different attendee views
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it confusing that the pop-up to start a scheduled session occurs even if I have manually started that session. It makes me unsure about whether I have started the correct session. I would also like more control over the video to take care of the shininess on my face. I've done all the light adjusting I can do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Initially solving the COVID difficulties of meeting live. Now saving me a lot of time driving to physical appointments which allows me to do more business with less stress.
Great but not always straight forward
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for meetings with a short updating time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When troubleshooting elements of hosting a webinar on Zoom, the help information provided by Zoom is not always helpful. It would also be great to be able to have a co-host not within one accounts network but from two different business accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not sure it is solving any problems, as I do like other web calling services, Zoom is the most recognized and so when working with some individuals it is the easiest platform to use because it is known.

What do you like best about the product?
I find zoom to be very user friendly and I love that it is also very easy to use from a mobile phone as well as a on a computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is sort of silly but I wish zoom would have an alert noise when someone is entering into the room and is currently in the wait room or when you are in the wait room and have been accepted to come in. I often times jump onto calls early and the zoom screen ends up behind tabs on my computer so it would be great to have a notification noise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to connect with my current and prospective coaching clients without needing to meet up in person. I can help people all over the country now thanks to zoom.
It's the perfect tool for all of my needs!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes connecting with others easy!! I started using it during the pandemic in order to facilitate meetings while social distancing. Now I use it for more and more!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really ran into anything that I really disliked about zoom. It keeps being innovated to keep with the times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping our business because it makes it possible for someone to attend a meeting, conference, or event from virtually anywhere. Zoom is continuing to evolve with it's users ever changing needs.
Simple and Inclusive
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is great for bringing people together. You don't have to be particularly tech savvy to access the service and folks of all ages and skill levels are able to come together in a simple but effective way.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike in particular; it does what it's supposed to do. One thing that might be helpful is notifying about updates somehow so that I don't encounter one when I'm already running late to a Zoom meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is helping us stay connected with the people that matter to us. When the pandemic struck a couple of years ago, we began to use Zoom even more to keep our people together and on the same page. It streamlined communication and kept us moving forward as one.
Great Video Software
What do you like best about the product?
The use of the software is easy. Sending the links is very easy as well. I also have a lot of people that like to record so being able to have users record is very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The security risks. A lot of people don't like to use Zoom do to the security risks so users in pharma or HIPAA companies don't use Zoom which limits who can join.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to connect virtually and easily. The API is also open so it connects easily with Slack, Asana, etc. so the use of the tool is great.
High quality. Easy to use and manage all elements of a business meeting

Easy to use GUI on all devices. Screen sharing and annotate is very useful. Play back of audio is good

Sometime a meeting starts before the moderator and I need to come in as an attendee
