I use Zoom for Business as an Administrator

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that unlike Google meet, it's easy to present and there is no cascading of windows. While presenting it is easy to present an entire window unlike Google meet.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no cascading of windows when screen sharing and ease of presentation. But there is nothing I can really convey that I dislike. I really choose Zoom as my choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem Zoom solves is it allows my team to make our meetings a Zoom using the Chrome extension directly in the calendar which is quite convenient when scheduling.

Zoom - The Best All Around Communication Platform

What do you like best about the product?
There are multiple items that we love about Zoom. We love the Zoom Room platform and the wireless sharing capabilities. We love the quality of the video and ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most challenging item we found is joining 3rd party (non-zoom) meetings. While we would love it if every one of our clients used Zoom, the unfortunate fact is that they do not. Joining GoToMeetings, Chime, etc from a Zoom Room is challenging, but there is hardware that allows you to use a laptop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest items that Zoom solved for us is remote work AND collaboration. With a national company, we have workers across the US and the power of Zoom really brings us together.

What do you like best about the product?
easy to use and seems to work well with slower internet connections (< 10mbps) download speed. I've had no dropped connections and very few problems of any sort.
What do you dislike about the product?
The security of using Zoom and whether it is PHIPA compliant needs to made more clear to users. This could be improved by specifically addressing these issues in advertising.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unable to meet in person because of Covid restrictions and/or distance. Remote meetings now preferred by many of my clients and colleagues. Yes, my business performance has increased.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used multiple video conferencing apps; Zoom has been one of the cleanest and best to use. There is a reason that everybody started using it during Covid.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I really dislike. There is a small learning curve for some of the features, but anybody with computer knowledge can figure it out pretty easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to have better communication with friends and business partners. The screen recording is nice for training and for recording podcasts with others.

I think that there have been some good improvements in the last year. I have noticed improved video quality with less frequent pixelation.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Zoom because you don't have to be a tech wizard to use it. Very simple for me the speaker and for my audience to participate as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot get the software to turn off the auto record feature. very much a pain in the ass.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me talk to more of my clients, quicker and cheaper. Helps me be able to do my craft, education/training / coaching/ facilitation much easier than traveling and much easier than all of the other platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is user-friendly and invaluable to help me troubleshoot extremely difficult customer issues. It helps me stay in touch with colleagues, virtually, by facilitating virtual work sessions for collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a device simulator to allow me to guide my customers on how to use Zoom if they have a tablet or smart phone. Being able to draw on the screen while someone is sharing, like point to something you want them to see, would be helpful. I wish there was an option to share the whole screen and not just select options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me resolve customer issues faster by being able to see what they are doing. Zoom really illustrates the idea that a picture is worth a 1000 words.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is an easy platform that anyone can Use. It's very easy to help troubleshoot, and for people who aren't great with technology. But it also is very useful to those who are good with technology, and offers a safe way to have meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have had some compatibility issues with the platform on my work laptop, but for the most part, zoom is super user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now that we are working partially from home, or remotely, more often, it makes it easy to stay in touch and to still host meetings even if you aren't on site.

Zoom Kept My Business Thriving

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is simple to use and has everything I need to deliver a powerful on-line learning program. I like the break-out rooms, chat features, whiteboards and ability to tile participants for easier visability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't go there often, but when I do, I find the Zoom.com site really difficult as a "help" tool. If I have a question, it isn't easy to find my answer. My sense is that the site was up and running before it grew during Covid, but my hope would be that you make the help site easier for the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I facilitate leadership development and I'm an executive coach. During Covid, Zoom solved the challenge of not being able to be in person, and it continues to solve that problem. It also makes it easier for me to take on new clients who live further away.

Zoom making Board Meetings easy

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has made having board meetings with all of our board members from around the state being able to easily login and see each other and discuss issues in person with out actually having to travel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom has made it so easy for us to join video conferencing that people are not attending meetings in person. That is the only negative thing that I can even think about for zoom
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has made it easier for all of our board members from around the state to attend board meetings regularly. We can send out a link to connect to other members which has made attendance at these meetings go up in numbers. This helps our board members be able to attend and know what's going on at all times.

Zooming Along

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a very good video-conferencing software tool. The installation is simple and quick. Right away, the user has the ability to modify his settings without much digging. The updates have all added value to the tool such as the ability to have multiple cohosts on a paid subscription, the ability to immediately send participants to a breakout room without the participant having to find the room, and other enhancements that were made. Zoom also stores the last Zoom meeting ids when the user clicks the down arrow on the Join a Meeting link. This is helpful if you do not remember the prior meeting link.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally the audio setting does not work with joining a meeting. Typically when you join, you are asked to join audio. But occasionally you are unable to see the prompt and you cannot hear the meeting or be heard. This happens fairly often to at one of my participants during our weekly meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving the social distancing problem with the pandemic that we faced here at my employer. It also allows for meetings to take place with other vendors that are not on our network.
