Very easy to use, and very stable option for meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very easy to use, and makes a great option for meeting with out-of-town clients and suppliers. It's also great for group meetings, allowing many to join the same meeting at the same time. Cuts travel costs, is convenient and is effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you do not subscribe or join, you are limited to just 45 minutes. Many meetings go an hour or more, so, the free option would not work. The pricing is not too bad, but everyone wants free, right?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily meet with out-of-town clients and suppliers that would be too cost-prohibitive to physically travel to. This allows face-to-face conversation without the cost of travel. It also is often preferred to in-person meetings by many. Their company may not be accepting visitors, so this is the only way to get to my contacts.
Zoom is Still the Standard for All Video Conferencing Software
What do you like best about the product?
After using Zoom for the past 3 years, I find that it is the best video conferencing software for a few reasons:
For Business Use - Zoom is reliable and easy for most people to use. Anyone can set up a Zoom account and it is device and operating system agnostic, unlike FaceTime, so works for groups that don't necessarily have the same times of machines or networks. Chat, recording, saving and sharing extend the tool beyond just meetings.
For Personal Use - Zoom works for all levels of comfort and familiarity with software and video chat tools. A child can use it and so can a senior adult. The features, such as the white board, make collaborating easy.
Overall, I prefer Zoom to Meet or Teams and definitely more than FaceTime because of how easy it is to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
While I completely understand the time limit for the free version, it can be annoying when someone uses that version and needs to stay on longer. At the moment I don't have suggestions for improvements. Zoom sends out a monthly newsletter and they seem to have a lot of good improvements already in the pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom keeps me in touch with my clients, none of whom are local. I use it screen share, especially when I have to train them, and also use it in place of conference calls just to maintain a personal touch.

Invaluable for My Podcasting Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I use Zoom to record podcasts when I have guests on my show. It makes the technology threshold accessible for people across all levels of experience. I can record the audio in separate tracks for easy editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there were more features geared toward producing higher quality audio and also tools for taking production notes. Things to make it more competitive with Zencastr
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom's ability to bridge the gap between people and bringing them together in a single space with a simpler interface has made it possible for me to host a show with someone thousands of miles away from me.
Smooth experience
What do you like best about the product?
Auto-focus on who's talking and the ability to spotlight a person
What do you dislike about the product?
No way to tie in multiple laptop users in a big room without causing audio feedback loops. Host should also have 100% of user mics when the host mutes them. Many elderly have a hard time unmuting when requested by the host.

remote meeting to keep everyone informed.
Using zoom as a digital marketing consultant
What do you like best about the product?
I have many customers in the mortgage, real estate, medical, and other industries. I have found that zoom is a very compatible tool. For example, some clients will send Microsoft Teams meeting invites and in a mixed, in and out of org setting it usually has problems. There is almost never a problem using zoom for clients with their microphone and webcam, and of course they can also dial in.
It is also very rare to run into server or network capacity issues.
I used Gotomeeting for many years, but when the pandemic hit they had capacity problems that zoom did not have.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if you did not need a subscription to Otter to get transcripts. Other than that I have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for strategy and reporting sessions with digital marketing clients around the US and limited to Europe. It has served me well since I switched to it 2.4 years ago.
Easy to use platform for virtual meetings!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a great option for virtual meetings. We really enjoy the share screen functionality when we can't meet in person.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know that I have any major issues with Zoom. I haven't experienced many issues when using their program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We began using Zoom during the pandemic. Before that, we had in-person meetings or phone call meetings. Of course, in-person meetings were canceled and phone call meetings weren't robust enough to share information in a timely, clear way. Now, we can save our program representatives travel time and expenses by having most meetings virtually.
Zoom is my go-to for all things virtual meetings and presentations
What do you like best about the product?
I have found that Zoom allows me the flexibility to run effective meetings, deliver engaging presentations, lead virtual summits and webinars, and also has the functionality to meet with anyone, anywhere at any time. I never worry about technical difficulties.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a little bit of a learning curve at the beginning, but it's not prohibitive. For users who are not as savvy with Zoom, it can be a bit difficult to learn because they will need to download the app on their device to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run my membership, sales calls, group programs, and just about every single gathering in my professional life using Zoom! It's essential to how I do business and allows me to easily connect with people.
Utilizing Zoom for Telehealth
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom integrates with Calendly so that scheduling telehealth appointment is a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to zoom is not having a face to face experience however that is not an issue with the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conducting psychoeducational assessments in remote areas during the height of the pandemic would have been impossible without Zoom. Now that face to face meetings are occurring, zoom continues to provide a solution to those who are not yet comfortable with in person sessions.
