Great experience overall. Need to update remote control access for iOS users

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use that my grandma can use it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do business over Zoom calls so it's important to have clients control my screen. When they have an iOS system (iphone, Mac, iPad, etc.) they aren't able to and I lose out on business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do like that I can have different breakout rooms to have different people join different meetings.

Zoom has made my business more efficient!

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My business was mainly done in person before, but zoom has made the transition seamless with screen sharing and remote control access for my clients. Also, I can share from another device, ex. iPad to MacBook to draw if I need to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features aren't available on all devices. For instance, on an iPad if you share the screen, then your video turns off. Also not all devices can do remote control access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has taken the need to drive and saved me a lot of money in gas. It has also helped me to expand across the country virtually so the need to travel is lessened. Since I don't have to drive, I can run more appointments and have more time to focus on tasks at hand.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the updates zoom is making
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to have fun party like backgrounds and features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to connect with our team remotely. It has been a vital part of our remote first company and culture to see and be with people.

Zoom is alway great, reliable, and easy to hear and see clearly

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Everyone seems to use it so it is easy to set up meetings. I also like that our family history group can record the meetings and send them out to others not available to attend.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had problems copying the invitation and have had the embarrassment of having it change the time on me--to 2:00 am! Then I had to resend. Sigh
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting together when several people are not local. Some prefer the face to face meetings but frankly more are preferring zoom:)

Meet Virtually or Via Hybrid with Ease

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of scheduling a meeting, editing my plan even at last minute, making a meeting hybrid with in person and virutal attendees, and securing a meeting with various tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I perceive that we have to choose either password protection or a "waiting room." I wish there were an option to have neither, for a spontaneous meeting with associates who just need to arrive and get the work done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom provides a format that allows me to meet with the various teams I am project organizer for, in a timely fashion with many tools that can be utilized during the meeting.

Excellent resource for our business

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The admin portal is great.. Easy to navigate, assign/remove licenses and users. The sales rep that helped me set up the business account was very helpful in helping me do that and purchase additional licenses as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one time that I did use the support feature, I was bounced around and had to drag our rep in to get it resolved. The techs were not reading the ticket and kept telling me the same thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an HOA management company and have handfuls of meetings every month. This allows us to easily offer a reliable remote option. We also have a couple remote workers who can zoom into our staff meetings and we can also zoom and screen share with them as needed to train.

Convenient and Reliable

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been very helpful to us in coordinating meetings, both during the pandemic and post-pandemic for team members who don't reside near each other. It's accessible across multiple platforms and is fairly intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The decreased limits for non-Pro accounts are annoying, as simple 1:1 meetings are now severely limited in time. It was frustrating to have the service downgraded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom does a great job at making sure we can meet and communicate effectively regardless of location or contagion level. Folks who are sick, but feel fine, can still engage and contribute.

Zoom is a great product for meetings

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of conducting a meeting. Many of our users are familiar with the interface just because they attend many Zoom meetings, so it makes adoption very easy. +1
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop app is a different install than the Outlook plugin, so you have to make sure both are up-to-date. Zoom will tell you some of your employees' clients are out of date and if you aren't careful, you won't realize which one is out of date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an easy interface that end-users can manage on their own and not require IT assistance to schedule, start or run a meeting.

Experienced Zoom User (three years of regular use)

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for anybody on any platform. Low bandwidth requirements makes it work well from any international location. It scales easily from a 1 on 1, to much larger (I've personally not used it larger than groups of 30 or so... but there's no problem of any sort with that size. I've tried several other video conferencing systems and Zoom is the winner hands down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changing preferences while in a meeting is not easy and sometimes not even possible. You have to anticipate what you'll need before the meeting starts. If you have several recurring zoom links, it's not easy to know if you chose the right link once you have initiated the video call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It easily keeps us connected even tho scattered in multiple states and nations. It's saved us a lot of money by keeping us in our home locations and not having to travel.

Would like to have some upgrade for PowerPoint as Virtual Background

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Can blur background and change background, share screen, live chat, voting, white board sharing all very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
At advanced view for Power Point as Virtual Background, it's nice that user can overlay on top of the presentation. But sometimes even resizing the presenter's window might block some info at the power point slide, esepcially if user would like to use older powerpoint slide with lots of text. Would be nice if it 2 seperate windows that user can resize for the presentation and the presenter. People had to use OBS to achieve the 2 windows side by side view which is a bit complicated for average users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The blur background and video background is very nice The WhiteBoard figure is very good too for collaborating ideas.
