Successfully Enabling Education Management through Zoom
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is really helpful to flexibly set up meetings, share content, and teach content remotely. I can connect with sorts of people regardless of distance and has enabled me to expand my business overseas as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Zoom blocks my progress by not being able to smoothly transition from the Zoom app to other apps on my computer. In addition, Zoom's features of annotation and collaboration feel laggy and not conducive to non-tablet devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is allowing business connections, especially international connections. If I wasn't using Zoom, I would have never been able to relay educational content to other populations of remote students. It is a flexible, easy way to set up and follow through on meetings and discussions.
It's user friendly and convenient
What do you like best about the product?
It is just so easy to use and my whole team is familiar with it. And we can share screens when we are doing internal training
What do you dislike about the product?
If there was a tool to let me take over their computer that would be helpful but it is not something I 'dislike' about Zoom
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps my partners not have to travel for our business meetings. It is very convenient for them to not take the time in their cars and deal with traffic. I LOVE Zoom!
Integrations not the best
What do you like best about the product?
I love the additional add-ons for zoom. Also the feedback and recording are key.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that when you add a zoom meeting to an outlook calendar, it tends to always also select Teams meeting. I understand that this would be more of an issue on the microsoft end, but a deeper work-flow integration would be key. I have tried to adjust the settings multiple times but sometimes have two meetings added.
Also, when a meeting is being held by someone with a 40min limit there is no way that they can re assign the host to someone with premium benefits. Multiple times I have lost a meeting when one of my employees uses their account that has time limit.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is helping solve the lack of availability for in person meetings. Also, the ability to record meetings is important to go back and review expectations set.
Works well for my purposes
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about zoom is the ease of use. It is pretty easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the lack of customer service. It seems like if you don't pay for an upgraded account, you're left on your own to work through problems. I also don't like that when people go to breakout rooms they can't see the slides anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom for coaching and training when it can't be in person. And considering I just got Covid from one of the first in-person workshops I've done in years, I can see myself continuing to use it for quite a while.
Zoom Just Works
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that Zoom works. I don't spend every session trying to figure it out. And, more importantly, neither does anyone else on the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the audio quality was higher for podcasters.

It makes video calls easier than they've ever been.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use platform. When the pandemic hit it was easy to implement quickly to keep my classes going. I love now that I can use zoom to keep in contact with mentors and friends.
What do you dislike about the product?
Storing videos costs money. I wish the free platform had more benefits and storage. I also wish there were more controls on privacy and more functions on the app.

They were ready to go during the pandemic.
Zoom allows my students who are isolated due to exposure, still be able to attend class virtually.

Get's the job done
What do you like best about the product?
I can meet with my coworkers anytime without any issues. It helps us feel like we work in the same location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I haven't run into any issues.

They've recently increased the time allowed for free accounts which is great

If I'm speaking to an audience I wish there was a way for my screen to show my audience, so I could see their facial expressions.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setting up a meeting. It's only a few steps

Sharing your screen as a participant. There should be an easier way to do that

I work in telehealth and provide therapy to clients in my organization. Zoom has increased client participation due to the convenience of having therapy available anywhere
Zoom is great for teams
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is super intuitive and lets us easily record and share sessions later for review. Our global team can collaborate and get valuable facetime together even though we work remotely, thousands of miles apart.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom might be better if we could more easily break out into sessions during calls. Setting up presets for meetings is not super intuitive to access, such as recordings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing global teams together every day! Audio transcripts and recordings are also helpful for us. Even if someone misses a meeting, we can post it for them to play later.
