We use Zoom on a monthly basis for live webinars and it satisfies all our criteria.
What do you like best about the product?
We like the Zoom RSVP feature and the ability to stay in touch with webinar attendees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing levels are sometimes confusing and there are some features we would love but cannot afford.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows our small NFP to host monthly meetings and webinars and allows us to expand out main mail list after each event.
Zoom Is the Industry standard! Easy and Convenient
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and accessible Zoom is to use! Pro is totally worth it, I have so many virtual meetings and having the option to auto record to cloud saves me time!
What do you dislike about the product?
It logs me out of any other device I have when I take a meeting. Free time limit should be 40mins. Not really issues for me. Mobile could be a little better. More tools for iPad Pro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access. Save time. Do more. I can do so many more meetings than I could before. Traffic is so bad in our city that this helps me close more sales by meeting my clients virtually.
Zoom works great - but I'd love to see the next level of collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
My connection is usually strong on zoom, and doesn't require a ton of bandwidth. I can see and hear people clearly. Chat is convenient, and I like being able to chat privately with attendees.
What do you dislike about the product?
I run a lot of virtual workshops using Miro. I think Zoom could really take the experience up a notch by making it feel more like we're collaborating in person. For example, when I play music at my end, it should be heard more clearly (maybe an in-app integration with Spotify, so music isn't being picked up through my microphone?). Also, when I am in the gallery view, I see myself and the other person - but there is a lot of blank space outside our videos, which means the space could be filled up more by expanding the sizes of our video. The bigger our video appears, the more in-person it may feel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run innovation workshops, and when Covid hit, Zoom helped me conduct those virtually. Also, I use Zoom to attend yoga classes virtually - so that helps me get exercise without having to go in-person.
Zoom is a reliable way to host meetings with people around the world.

Stable, global platform for hosting meetings with tools to manage security, presentations, and interaction

Gets glitchy/slow after a couple of hours
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have hosted a live "show" with a celebrity regularly since April 2020. Zoom makes it easy for fans to join from anywhere in the world while also giving us control over attendees and potential security risks.
Connecting globally has never been better!
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely grateful for the ability to be able to connect with our teams globally with a click of a button! I truly believe that Zoom is the best solution to remain connected to those who matter most, whether it be a major corporate meeting or a small team meeting. Zoom is the way to go!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have really enjoyed Zoom and always looking forward to new updates within the platform. I can honestly say I have no complaints about how the platform works. It's seamless and easy to use!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
2020 was an extremely challenging year! But as we know, every challenge also presents an opportunity. This was Zoom for us! It allowed us to remain connected with our teams globally like never before.
Always have quality audio and video using Zoom.

I enjoy the easy to use features and how accessible the features are to share audio and screen. It's also extremely user friendly.

I wish all features were available to same on all devices such as tablets and chrome books.

Bringing virtual classes easily to our clients.
A Proven, Dependable Workhorse
What do you like best about the product?
The core functions are solid and dependable and I rarely find that I have to use anything more for effective meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
It really serves my purposes for meetings large and small and presenting or recording for producing videos remotely - BUT the whiteboard feature seems clunky and I could get a lot more done with a smoother feature to import images and write over or even sketch. WhatsApp has done this slightly better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working across time zones, countries, and managing complex events and creative projects. It also in 1:1 keeps me connected to colleagues in a real way. The ability to get more done, save time and only travel when necessary is a considerable benefit.
I love Zoom and want it to get even better!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom helps be able to quickly get a video conference with multiple people across the country with screen sharing capabilities. I love to have that it has the capabilities to host a large number of people all in one meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
What is dislike about zoom is that it takes a lot of resources from my computer and sometimes when I'm in a meeting my computer slows down a lot. I think it would be much better if there was a way for zoom not to use as many resources from the computer. Also sending invites is a hassle having to copy the link from multiple places.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom mainly allows me to communicate with my team and clients in a fast efficient manner. It makes it easy to get a lot of work done in a few hours with my team on a zoom meeting instead of having to meet in person.
Generally great, except captioning strategy.
What do you like best about the product?
Other platforms work better in some browsers, worse in others. Zoom is always predictable and OS-agnostic. I use Calendly for people to schedule meetings with me, and the integration there is perfect for people to schedule a Zoom call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Closed captions should NOT require people to ask the organizer to turn them on. This stigmatizes people and is inconvenient, often bringing a meeting to a halt. If they aren't enabled by the organizer before the call, it's impossible to turn them on without restarting the meeting. Everyone should have independent control of their own captioning view, and the organizer should have additional control to turn on captions for all attendees, to create an inclusive experience. Zoom was the best for captions at the beginning of the pandemic, but MS Teams and Google Meet are better now.
The ability to annotate is better than competitors, but the multi-step process of clearing them AND closing the tools is so clumsy when trying to also talk to people.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy meeting setup, ability to annotate my drawings in real time (I'm an architect) make it a good tool for creative professionals.
Very efficient tool.

It is very easy to use and connect with anyone anywhere. I also love the share your screen tool.

There isn't a lot to complain about. It is user friendly and easy to use.

Being able to connect with friends, family and business partners that are out of state.
